Hotel Haris is in the region of Agia Marina, just 6 miles outside of Chania City. It is next to the sandy beach, within walking distance of the centers of Agia Marina and Platanias.
Hotel Haris consists of 50 rooms in 2 buildings, separated by a beautiful garden. All rooms have balconies and great views. The traditional architecture fits into the spacious environments, the garden, the swimming pool (with separate children's pool), right next to the beach.

Review 1：Gave me a room on the roof top (probably built as a deposit) that reached temperatures of 40* C where wifi wasn't working and that they also forgot to clean up one day (saying that it was due to the type of booking thru booking.com)

Review 11：Buffet breakfast was nice. Wi-fi worked in my room. The hotel is not in the center of Agia Marina, but all the important facilities are situated nearby... shops, restaurants, ATMs. I also had my bicycle with me. The location is perfect if you want to explore the west part of the island.

Review 15：Very good location on main road, with restaurants & beach frontage. Staff helpful & friendly. A good option at a reasonably well priced hotel, Approximately 10km from Chania. Bus stop to Chania only metres from front door. Hiring a car was for me the best option, as it gave me the freedom to tour around without having to worry about time & bus schedules. Great pool & beach.

Review 16：The room we had was on the top of the hotel, which was good in all other ways, though, was open for the noise from the street. That was, however, basically a problem in the morning when you might like to snooze a little bit.

Review 17：The hotel is on the beach, which is terrific. The beach by the hotel is rocky where the water begins, but a few steps to the left there is sand. To the right, some fifty meters, there is a terrific beach. Further walk, a short one, in that direction takes you nice beaches. The breakwaters, sticking out a little bit here and there, are good for a closer look at fishes and other water creatures, if you don't mind dipping your head under the water. The breakfast is a buffet, similar to what is served in business hotels, though a little bit poorer. We had a room, the only one of its kind in that hotel, on the top of the hotel, where you can look in all direction. Everything you need is close to the hotel, supermarkets, restaurants and so on. We liked the hotel and wouldn't mind to stay there again.

Review 18：Even though we had booking.com confirmation, after arrival to hotel , problem with accomodation. During 7 days stay ,hotel changed tree times our rooms... Some bathrooms with toilets should be at some time renovated.

Review 19：Hotel is situated at nice place ,all rooms in upper floors are with sea view, pleasant garden. Rooms equipments is older ,but well maintain. Greece meals perfect. All staff pleasant.

Review 20：Breakfast got a little dull after a few days, the Wi-Fi was quite poor and worked only in the reception and the pool bar area. And who charges for normal internet (non-Wi-fi) use nowadays? 4€ per hour? Come on!

Review 24：The beach-side location was fabulous, although the beach isn't very wide and a bit rocky on entry into the water when surf is rough. On calm days you can see the bottom of the sea very clearly and can pick your way around the rocks/stones. Recommend snorkelling around the breakwaters. We occupied room 217 which looked over the taverna towards the mountains and had the most fantastic sunsets! We also had an excellent view of the island just off the beach. The airconditioning worked well and was quiet. The reception staff were particularly helpful. The hotel is very conveniently situated with shops/supermarkets and the bus stops within 100 metres of the hotel.

Review 26：Crete is amazing!!! The locations was a dream right on the beach. The staff and local merchants were all so friendly. We did not meet a single uncatering person throughout our travels!!! The value and atmosphere could not be beat for the experience and memories. Very family oriented location great for couples too! Would highly reccomend this hotel and will be going back myself. Thank you for everything!!
