Review 3：A warm welcome from Dimitra, the owner and who was very helpful during our stay. Within ten minutes walk of Kalyves town with bus stop closeby if you want to go into Charnia, which we did twice during our stay.

Review 7：The road outside the hotel (between the hotel and the sea) has no sidewalk and is not safe for kids without their parents. Taxi from airport is 35 euro one way.
Review 8：Very nice owner (Dimitra). Fresh and personally decorated rooms. Small but lovely pool in the green garden. Perfect stay for kids especially if you book the rooms on the first floor close to the garden area. Very quiet and familial vibe around the hotel. Close to supermarket, the sea and two nice beaches. Quiet areas all over. Me, my daughter (10 years) and her best friend had a fantastic stay here in July 2015. We will return.

Review 14：The rooms are light and comfortable. The location of Kalyves is great for touring or as a jumping off point for hiking the Sambria Canyon. There are many good dining options within walking distance of Dimitra Studios. Dimitra is friendly and very attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel
Review 15：Beforehand, we had told about our back problems and were welcomed with a room on the ground floor and an adjustable chair to sit in outside. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely.
Review 16：Handy location for exploring the western end of the island. Plenty of restaurants nearby and supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Very friendly and welcoming family, with thoughtful little touches like fresh oranges given to us on our first morning. We had no problems during our stay but I'm sure they would have been sorted out quickly if we had. Well maintained and clean apartment which was nicely decorated. Pool area and garden also clean.

Review 20：Our lovely spacious apartment was very good value and the best we have had in Greece. Spotlessly clean. Loved the decor it was simply stunning. The room was very nice, full of art pieces made by the owner. Nice combination of colours. There is also a small kitchenette where you can cook something if you wish. Great value for money. I advice you to go and see by yourself! Is great, right near the water. Dimitra and Maria is a very kind and helpful hosts. Will recommend to all my friends. Review 22：Everything!Hospitality, cleanliness,facilities in and out of the apartment(pool,surroundings very relaxing), services, location,available parking,decor.Dimitra has made this into a homely comfortable, and very reasonably priced *home from home*.I would not stay anywhere else.Every small detail was given attention.Beautiful linen and towls,plenty of space and cupboards.Excellent kitchen with every gadget one might need.EVEN clothes pegs!I have travelled all over the world, but for a holiday apartment, this is 5* plus.A real gem in Kalyves!

Review 26：We had a very pleasant stay in Dimitra Appartments. The appartments are very clean, comfortable and larger than expected! Dimitra is very hospitable, she always tries her best to make her customers have a pleasant stay in her accommodation. Kalives is a small village, in which you can find everything you need. For more sightseeing a rental car is advised.
Review 27：Dimitra is a super really nice hotess! We arrived early before the room was ready and discovered we had a twin room. So in order for us to wait, her mum offered really good homemade food to us! And what a surprise: dimitra gave us a really nice appartment with double bed 'cause she doesn't want her guests to be unhappy! And so much really cool details: candies were waiting for us and raki of course! And the decoration is really nice, all around the sea theme. And she put a flag of the country of each tenant in front of the entry door of each apartment! Also Kalyves is a really nice place to stay because you are near Hania but you have beautiful sea and it's much less crowded. So to conclude: thank you Dimitra, you were the highlight of our stay in Creta!

Review 29：We knew that Crete would be a trip to remember, when we booked our flights and accommodation - our honeymoon actually. After spending a few days in busy Chania, it was such a joy to arrive in this beautiful little town by the seashore, Kalyves. We spotted this beautiful 'pinkish’ building from our bus window, sign reading ”Dimitra Studios & Apartmens” and welcoming us. ”This is it!” Dimitra was really friendly and made us feel right at home. Our apartment was clean, tidy and beautiful - there were even some fresh local fruits and drinks waiting for us. Air conditioned room was a lifesaver after a long day traveling. Apartments really did match how the house look on the outside,there were even these little country flags at the top of each apartment door, showing which country the visitors were - sweet! The building in itself is just simply elegant and beautiful. Sea is just a stone throw away and view from our balcony equally beautiful. Dimitra very kindly guided us and gave good local tips on how and where rent a car, such a relief to have a friendly and kind hearted person to help us. In such a beautiful place, Kalyves and Dimitra Studios, our vacation went like a dream! Dimitra surprised us by giving a little farewell present, when we were about to leave - she even ordered a taxi to take us to the airport. Sure enough, all this made us feel that we would very much like to return here on our future travels - we can really recommend visiting Kalyves and staying at Dimitra´s. Thank you Dimitra!
Review 30：Nothing, really. Although the beds are a little short and the rooms could do with a small electric kettle each, we would return to Dimitra Studios tomorrow if we could (and we never say that about anywhere we go!)
Review 31：The warmth and generosity of Dimitra and her mother, who were both extremely helpful and kind, were the main highlights of our stay. Greek people are known for these qualities but Dimitra and her family were exceptional even by their standards, offering us wonderful snacks of home cooking and lots of important advice, help and information when we needed it. It was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely sea view. There were lots of hangers in the wardrobes so it was easy to just unpack and unwind. The facilities included shutters on the windows to block out the sun in the morning and excellent air conditioning so that you can get a good night's sleep. The location is excellent, being very close to some quiet, clean beaches, immediately opposite the bus stop and within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Review 32：We were extremely well looked after by the lovely family with lots of tasty goodies prepared by Dimitra and her mother. We were in a clean, comfortable and spacious studio equipped with all we needed - with facilities to create a simple meal. The studio was decorated with artistic pieces created by Dimitra - providing the personal touch and was in a convenient position for both the supermarket and for all the great tavernas in Kalyves. Within easy walking distance to beaches. Highly recommended for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Dimitra and her family were very welcoming and she brought snacks of typical Greek dishes for us to try, which were divine! I highly recommend these studios.

Review 53：These studios must be the best in town! Very elegant, modern and well equipped and clean rooms with sea view from one of the room's balconies. Placed at a safe distance of the regular "tourist traps" you really feel that you live in a part of town where you can experience the daily life and the local atmosphere, while not more than a stroll from sandy beaches and a good selection of tavernas and shops. It takes less than a minute to cross the street and jump in the water and the town is very nice with plenty of places to have a quality local dinner or the occasional drink by the sea. Dimitra the hostess and her mother Maria are just lovely persons who you really feel are serious about your comfort.

Review 60：Bedding and towels could be changed more frequently but we were hardly ever in to ask! Pool a bit shaded but spotless and nice for an evening dip. No problem, the beach being so close.

Only 25 minutes' easy drive from Chania airport.Short walk to the village centre where you can eat very well for not much money. Lovely spacious, airy apartments - we were given a choice on arrival.

Review 65：I liked everything!!! our apartment was nice and cosy. I felt very comfortable there. Everything was clean. Our kitchen has all equipment we needed. Our balcony was nice too. You even could light candles in the evening. Very romantic;) Dimitra is very friendly and hospitable. She even cooked to us some domestic dishes. We are really gratitude because nothing spoilt our vacation. Thanks to Dimitra!!! If my friends would like to go on vacation to Kalives of course I will recommend this apartments!!!
Review 66：Dimitra studios are located outside the most crowded tourist area, however almost in the center of Kalives and near to nice tavernas, beach and super market. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, very good value for money. Dimitra and her family are really doing everything to keep their quests happy and feeling welcome.

Review 68：My apartment had two balconies - one sea-facing and one garden/olivegrove facing. Lovely friendly hostess Dimitra and her mother MariaNicely/simply furnished and decorated. Just across the road from thesea, and four minutes walk from best taverna in town, Provlita - superbfood, drink and atmosphere. You must also visit Potamus cafe by theriver - 7 mins walk - great wine/coffee/juice and wonderfulplace to sit awhile relaxing. Almost next door to Dimitra is a placewhere you buy 3 kilos of oranges for 1 euro. This is fabulous for makingfresh juice for breakfast. Juicer supplied in apartment.
