Reviews for Moulin de Madame
Review 1:Problem with kitchen when we arrived no electricity could not even provide a sandwich or bar snack.Nowhere els open when we arrived hungry!
Review 2:Good location excellent staff superb clean comfortable room with balcony and beautiful views peaceful.
Review 3:Noise insulation from the road is pretty poor for a modern build
Review 4:Very helpful reception staff who also locked away my bike Dining/ breakfast room has stunning view over the river
Review 5:Wi-fi in the fitness area would be useful (for those who like to watch YouTube videaos when cycling :))
Review 6:This is a place that might be worth a detour if you are in the region. That was our case -I am not sure there are many attractions/places to visit just next to it, but we needed a place to sleep on the way from Bordeaux to Biarritz and decided to have this detour. It's a beautifully restored mill, with the rooms set in the surrounding buildings. Most of the rooms have big terraces and our had a terrace with the river view. The room was very big, with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, a small resting area with a table and 2 arm-chairs, a very big bathroom with two sinks (how comfortable!) and everything done in a beautiful French style. Besides, all the furniture and amenities are of good quality, including toiletries (Bio, by the way). The room also had a deposit safe, complimentary water and a mini-bar; super good hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board. The check-out is at 12:00, which gave us the possibility to use it's services to the full. There is a very small, but nice spa/beauty centre. The fitness room is small and contains 3 machines, but they are well working. Next to it there is a wonderful jacuzzi and a hamam. I had one treatment by the beautician and she gave me the best impression, they use good cosmetics and the prices are like everywhere.Last, but not least - the breakfast. Ours was not included, but it's worth the price (12€). The restaurant is beautiful, overlooking the river from 3 sides and nicely furnished. The choice at breakfast was not huge, but had everything we needed and all products of a very good quality (several sorts of fresh breads, viennoiseries, local cheese and ham etc.). Everything delicious, including the coffee served from the bar.All the staff was nice and available. Wi-fi worked well everywhere, except for the fitness area. There is a nice mini museum of the old mill, where one can see all its machines and works are ongoing to make a nice over-the-water terrace with a small...
Review 7:Restaurant not open every day. Trees and undergrowth need to be cut to provide the claimed views of the river - we were on the 1st floor and our views were limited, rooms on the ground floor can't have been able to see anything.
Review 8:Lovely room with balcony, good air-con and WiFi. Walking distance from town center. Very helpful staff.
Review 9:This is a de-luxe establishment in both accommodation and restaurant. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for. The free Wi-Fi works well, the rooms are well equipped (and large if you so choose). This place has class.
Review 10:One of the best hotels and attached resaurant we have stayed in, we payed for a larger room and it was worth every penny, there is every comfort and all you need in the room. I have stayed at equivalent hotels but have paid a lot more for the privilege. The restaurant has had a rocky past but is now transformed and is of a high standard at reasonable prices, and the room and view are to class.
Review 11:We liked to be fair all are stay it's a very nice and warm hotel great rooms with the river lot views

Review 28:The wifi was a bit iffy
Review 29:Lovely spot, pretty hotel, comfortable big room, fabulous bathroom
Review 30:The terrace doesn't open until June, it would have been nice to sit outside
Review 31:Strange smell in the room? (Toilet?)
Review 32:Service Food Big room (But!)
Review 33:Nothing!
Review 34:Everything!
Review 35:The shower in the bath was AWFUL we would have much preferred a walk-in shower.
Review 36:The room, bed and terrace. Both restaurants were good.
Review 37:Rooms overlooked the River The Restaurant serves fabulous food
Review 38:Attitude of staff. Lack of management and expertise.
Review 39:The view.
Review 40:Everything
Review 41:The restaurants. The terrace restaurant smelt of fried food. The food in the gourmand restaurant was ok but not special, it lacked flavour and a dish of cherry tomatoes and dip for an hors d'oeuvre lacks imagination.
Review 42:The accommodation was excellent, clean, attractively furnished. The staff were helpful.
Review 43:There isn't much to do in the local area.
Review 44:The rooms was lovely, very nicely decorated with gorgeous bathroom. Balcony overlooking the river was lovely too. Staff really nice and friendly.
Review 45:Restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday, which is very poor especially when staying for a long weekend. Plus, this is not made clear in the information, we only picked it up from an overheard telephone call while in the bar. Breakfast was poor value. The shower over the bath was very poor due to having an old style bath with a horrible curtain. A massive room could have had a separate shower
Review 46:Location, room, comfort, people. Easy to find and lovely place to stay, but was spoilt by a few issues
Review 47:Unfortunately the bar was closed for redecoration, so our much needed drink was taken in reception. The address was near impossible to find using the GPS - a number for the route would have been helpful
Review 48:Lovely and stylish large room on the river front, enthusiastic and helpful staff. The young man running the reception in the evening and acting as concierge, porter and kitchen hand was impressive!
Review 49:Could not use terrace, sun to intense , no sun shades provided. Vast swarms of nays from river, and from cutting grass. Dinner, strange menu, chicken dry, and rest cold.
Review 50:Bedroom clean and good bed.
Review 51:Air con did not work, coffee machine did not work, very disappointing breakfast with no fresh bread - how can you be this bad in France? Staff seemed very willing but incapable of putting anything right.
Review 52:Luxurious, clean and spacious room.
Review 53:The breakfast is poor and overpriced.
Review 54:Nice décoration, cozy bed
Review 55:Nothing. I loved it
