Review 1：We liked the layout of the rooms (not high rise) and food at the hotel - quality and range that included Greek dishes, best for breakfast and dinner. The location was easy to get to once you knew the bus numbers and route. A taxi costs 40 euros from Chania airport. Cleanliness was of a high level and the pool was clean and attractive. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Review 2：Noisy - poor sound insulation in rooms. Missing in-room basics - no clothes iron/board, kettle, bottle opener or cutlery.

Review 11：Fantastic place to say. We are a young couple in our mid 20s, who wanted a nice relazing holiday without the loud, clubing scene. The staff were more than helpful. The food was gorgeous and the hotel was very clean and in a very central location.

Review 13：It has been a nice place to stay during our Crete holiday. It is close to the new national road giving the possibility to quickly start little journey visiting the most famous beaches. The hotel was clean with a good breakfast variety, a big pool and kind staff. The room was as expected.

Noting that, the only thing we found a bit frustrating and certainly not the fault of the hotel was the habit of many guests to arrive very early morning to leave towels to "hold places" at the pool and then disappear until later in the day leaving many actually trying to enjoy the pool during the heat of the day staring longingly at unoccupied seats,umbrellas and shade.

Review 24：This was our third time staying at this property as it's more spacious than others we have seen in the area . The pool is quite large , it's a 5 min walk to the beach , and the old taverns are just behind the hotel . The breakfast is superb . Rooms are spacious and well maintained . It's also quiet at night . Would definitely recommend and will return again .

Review 29：The one thing that annoyed me was the music from the pool bar - apparently the guy responsible for operating it has one CD with his favourite songs (mostly pop from 90's) and believes that the louder the better. Over time, this got increasingly annoying - hearing "Don't speak" from No Doubt for the first time was a nice dejavu from 1996, hearing it 10x every day not so much. Also, I'm a cat person and over the two weeks I spent in Agia Marina I saw a single one. That made me a bit sad :-(

Review 30：Spent two weeks there, and I was quite pleased. The hotel is nice, clean and cozy and generally close to everything you need (minimarkets, restaurants, beach, ...). The hotel has a nice interior area with pool and grassy playground, shielded from the street. I can't remember anything somehow interrupting my vacation. Also the food (which is one of the reasons why I keep going to Crete for my vacation) was really good - plenty of salads, well cooked lamb, etc. Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 31：The most negative thing I have to report is the food. We were in half board so we had breakfast and the meal in the evening. It was not what I had imagined... In the morning, it was ok but the juices were not fresh and tasted weird and the croissants were frozen before baked. They didn't taste like fresh ones. There was more salty food instead of sweet one, there were only 2 choices of cereals and all was quite the same every day. There was marmalade and Nutella look alike chocolate put in large bowls and that wasn't very appetizing. They could have put marmalade in individual small packets but these are just details. In the evening, they proposed "Greek" food but it was very disappointing... I'm Greek and I know what Greek food tastes like and the food proposed in the hotel was far from what I expected. First of all, some of the food was rotten like the fish which didn't taste like fresh fish but was very dry and had a bad taste, the stuffed mushrooms tasted awful too (I had to spit it in a handkerchief). There was also rotten surimi in some salad which tasted like rotten fish... All the different types of meal proposed tastes like canteen food with very poor quality... As I said, I know what Greek food tastes like and I didn't recognize my Greek roots in this food...

Review 32：The hotel itself was good in general. The rooms were big, the airco was working well, the swimming pool was big, the furniture was modern and the bed was big and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff was very helpful and always smiling.

Review 33：The room for 4 people was small as was the bathroom. The premises need updating. Don't let the facade fool you. It is 2 star as far as we were concerned. Breakfast buffet was also average and it finished too early. I do not recommend this hotel.

Review 71：We used Atrion as a base to discover Chania Area, and it was a perfect starting spot. the Hotel Staff was very helpful giving us directions to were to go and how to get there. The room was good ( bed a little bit hard , but the staff added matresses) we honestly only used the room to sleep. The swimming pool is big , and we happily used it on our last day. Agia Marina beach is 2 min walk away and the beach itself is sandy and really nice. finally the hotel is in the middle of Agia marina and there is a lot of restaurants, shops , around it. Internet functions really well

After travelling in a hot day, we found a big plate with freshly cut water-melon and some grapes in the refrigerator waiting for us! The swimming pool was large, clean with a very nice surrounding area. There was always somebody willing to assist the customers at the reception desk, even when I needed a code for the wi-fi (which came for free) in the late hours after midnight. The location was very convenient, close to all the nightlife of the area but on a quiet spot as well where we could easily relax. The beach is in a walking distance of 2-3 minutes.
