This luxury 4-star bed and breakfast has high quality, spacious rooms. Merlindale is an imposing, south-facing stone villa in a quiet area of Crieff.
Jacky and John Clifford offer a warm welcome at Merlindale, which has won many awards, including a listing in the 2009 Michelin Guide.

Review 36：No choice of time for breakfast,told it was 8.30a.m.also no choice offered for cooked breakfast. Also thanks to booking .com we were informed that check out time was 12noon and this turned out not to be the case which caused us to feel somewhat uncomfortable.as the owner had to knock on the door and ask us to vacate!

Review 39：The people in the room next to ours came in a 1.30am very drunk and proceeded to sing loudly in the corridor. Their bathroom was opposite their room and we were kept awake by the doors banging for the numerous trips to the toilet till they eventually went to sleep at 3am. However, we were then able to hear him snoring so were unable to get any sleep on the Friday night. Fortunately the room was empty on the Saturday and our sleep was not disturbed. The B&B cannot control this and I think guests would not normally behave like this in this standard of B&B but I would not expect to be able to hear people talking in the next room or snoring so this was disappointing.

The hosts and staff were excellent and very easy to get along with - we were made to feel special and nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and accommodation could not have been better. The food was excellent and plentiful. The second section of number one needs a bulletpoint that is 'group of colleagues'
