Review 1：You should get a car. Not very much to see nearby.
Review 2：A really nice and clean resort directly at the beach. It looks newly renovated. The staff is very friendly.

Review 8：Warm welcome from the staff and informative. We got a complimentary upgrade which led to an amazing view from the balcony which enhanced our experience. Cleanliness was really good and personnel very friendly.Location and layout of the resort was smart and ideal.
Review 9：Distance from room to the beach. Not good for small children and older adults. The first night we went to the beach and sat on the beach chairs. The next morning my adult daughter woke up with severe bites across both of her thighs. We went to the pharmacist and she told us that the bites were not from mosquitos. The pharmacist gave us antihistamine and an anti-itch cream. Having no time (stayed 3 nights only) we did not go to the doctor in Agia Marina. Upon return to the States, my daughter went to her dermatologist who diagnosed the bites as flee bites. Since we do not know what happened or where, we share our experience only. However, this event left us with a sour note.
Review 10：Staff, balcony facing the ocean, proximity to supermarket and restaurants, small beach but good. Overall it was a good stay except (see next)
Review 11：The only think which is not a major disadvantage was the wi-fi connection which needs improvement for better connectivity.
Review 12：The location of the hotel was close to hania, near to the beach and you can move easily to other areas (i.e. to mountains and other touristic areas, night bars etc.). Also the whole stay in the hotel was excellent.

Review 14：Everything, starting with the very nice and clean rooms, the restaurants and especially the great breakfast, the pool along with a pool bar. By far, the best aspect of this resort is the immediate access to a great beach and the proximity to the picturesque town of Chania. We would love to go back!
Review 15：The hotel said wifi in rooms. We almost never could get a connection. Also no 24 hr room. Service. We were in second building far from main building. Not convienent.

I observed that we had been given one of the smallest rooms, different to the room promised by Booking.com, i.e. there wasn't a spacious balcony. But more importantly, there were 56 steps to the room with no lift, which became quite annoying.
