Review 4：Hotel nicely presented and welcoming, looks newly refurbished. Spacious bedroom with comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facility and TV, nice en-suite. Very clean. Nice breakfast with lots of choices from the buffet followed by egg and bacon etc from the main menu.

Review 9：Check-in is 2.00pm, though some of our rooms were ready before that. However on the Sunday morning, breakfast was served between 8am-9.15am. As we were a group of friends/family who had travelled from all over the UK to meet up, we were going out for dinner on the Saturday night and could have done with a later start in the morning. Checkout time is 10.30am, which is very early. The bar was also closed from 10.20pm, which meant a loss of revenue for them. In honesty, I believe the nightly rate is more on parr with a 3-4 star hotel, without the benefit of the additional facilities and a little more flexibility in terms of timings would go a long way.
Review 10：This was a lovely little place, spotlessly clean, with most needs considered including free wifi. The host was exceptionally helpful, courteous and friendly. The location was great on the outskirts of Hereford, just a short drive, or brisk walk into the centre. We would definitely recommend Brandon Lodge to others, but be sure to tell them the negatives as well as the positives. And one of those positives was a fabulous breakfast!
Review 11：The genuine warmth of welcome and helpfulness. Room was lovely and very comfy. Breakfast delicious with some local produce and staff very pleasant and quick with service. Liked the reading books to borrow in the small lounge/bar and the way the manager opened the bar just for me. I left my suitcase behind at the hotel and te staff could not have been more helpful in my efforts to be reunited with it.

Review 20：The shower was a bit meh considering they are such nice rooms and was very weak. This is only a slight niggle. I would also say that considering the breakfast was so good they could have fresh juice rather than the concentrated stuff that was being offered to just bring it up a notch.

Review 25：Pleasant owners who keep a really nice B&B hotel. We were there for a choir festival in the city - the hotel is a 30 minute walk from the city, which was ideal for us as the hotel has plenty of parking. Great breakfast with nice other guests
Review 26：The rooms are a little dark because the windows are quite small and there is an overhanging roof along the building. In July, the evenings were quite chilly and, because the rooms do not get much sun, we found our room a little chilly. Being "summer" (albeit the British summer) we could not put the radiator on so my husband resorted to wearing his fleece in the room. We're not keen on all the cushions on the bed. I know it's the modern trend but is annoying to have to move them every night before we could get into bed. This, of course is a minor point and overall we felt the hotel was good.
Review 27：The breakfast room and the rooms are very well appointed and everywhere is very clean. Surprisingly, the hotel actually looks exactly as it does in the photographs on the internet. We did the Black and White Village Tour in our car and the hotel lent us the CD to accompany the trip - very useful. Breakfast was good, with the usual items that one would expect.

Review 31：The very warm welcome and helpful advice and suggestions from our hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our own well appointed and quiet room and all the delightful public rooms.
Review 32：The bad experience we had was when it became obvious that we were paying a lot more than other guests! The Brandon Lodge inflate their normal prices that are shown on their road side sign to cover the charges that they incur from booking.com! If we should be looking to use booking.com in the future we'll check out their "Best price Guaranteed" policy!

Review 34：I would like to give this bed and breakfast the highest rating but section 2 of this web-page isn't working properly. I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were lovely, the facilities great, the room and the bed were very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient. In all, it was very good value for money.

Review 54：I found the bathroom less clean and biscuits(of which there was only one pack)soft and broken. The room was rather cold for my elderly aunts though warmed up throughout the night. They came into our room for a while as a result.

Review 83：Made us feel very welcome, and Monique & Steve are such a lovely couple, they were most helpful in finding places for us to visit, and where to go for a nice evening meal etc. The cleanliness of the place is just lovely, we stayed in rooms in the new building, just great, very spacious and clean and fresh, lovely and quiet, the breakfast was truly wonderful. Lovely quiet location, so no noise at night, but only about a mile or so from the centre. Perfect!! We will definitely be back to visit you again. Thank you both for a lovely weekend stay.
