A barn conversion set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens a 30-minute drive from Derby, Newton House B&B offers a freshly prepared continental breakfast, free parking and free WiFi in the public areas. The historic village of Repton and Burton-on-Trent are also less than 10 minutes' drive away.
In the morning, guests can enjoy a continental breakfast with freshly baked croissants, rolls, freshly prepared fruit, continental meats, cereals, juice and toast. A breakfast ‘in a bag’ to eat on the go is also available.

Review 1：On arrival the owners came to greet me at the door took me to my room which was stunning and I can't fault a thing - such a lovely place and I will return for sure!
Review 2：We were happy to return for a further night at this excellent B&B. Clean, very comfortable beds, elegant bathrooms. Quite a set-up there with stylish renovation of the buildings and a seemingly thriving wedding business that didn't affect our stay whatsoever. A good breakfast in a very pleasant sunny breakfast room. Hosts not intrusive but they're so pleasant I wished they could have joined us. Coming from New Zealand we got ribbed about potential rugby world cup defeat but....oh dear!
Review 3：No interest in the customer. Get your wallet out to pay before you get your key after a 15 hour day and if you are tired and want to go to bed and sort in the morning that is too bad as you have to comply !!!

Review 8：Our room was spacious,furnished to our taste and was very clean and had French doors opening onto the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was very nice, just what we needed as we had attended a friends wedding at Newton House the day before.

Review 12：Everything from entering the driveway to getting a good night's sleep in a lovely comfy bed. There was nothing to dislike. Jacqui suggested 2 pubs to eat in & they were both fabulous. The grounds at Newton House were breath taking, enjoyed a nice bottle of wine one evening sitting on the decking. The breakfast's were so filling and a nice touch of organic and free range. The decor of Newton House was absoluty stunning - excellent taste. It would make a lovely stay for a romantic weekend to even exploring the countryside surrounding you. Review 20：Large double bedroom with separate room with sofa. Bathroom was beautiful with separate shower and luxurious bath. Beautiful extensive grounds to walk around. Perfect venue for a romantic break or a wedding. Breakfast was great too with a good selection of continental produce and cooked breakfast to order. We particularly enjoyed having our tea beside the wood burner in the main hall whilst reading the morning paper. So relaxing, and the hosts made us feel welcome and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

The double room was very spacious and the additional room was perfect for our two young children. Breakfast was excellent, consisting of freshly prepared fruit and pastries, juices and delicious locally sourced ingredients for the full English.

Review 76：Where do we start, this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The welcome from Jacqui and Greg was lovely, they made our stay homely and wonderful. The room was outstanding, the best bed we have ever slept in, and best nights sleep we've ever had. The gardens and surrounding views were beautiful. Jacqui and Greg went out of their way to make us feel welcome, they even took us to collect our car as we had walked back after a wedding in the evening. The breakfast was superb, you could really tell that they took pleasure in making it and we definitely took pleasure in eating it. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future, we were took care of and we felt quite spoilt :) Jacqui and Greg must not change one thing!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!! Xx
