Reviews for Hotel Pelion Resort

Review 1:when we entered the room there was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom sewer system. After couple showers it was gone though. Poor breakfast

Review 2:Friendly and very helpful staff, large room with a fireplace, convenient parking on the premises, walking distance to the centre of Portaria (though vertically down 650 m), strong wifi signal

Review 3:Been there for the second time. Excellent location and facilities. Once again, very friendly stuff that did the best to accomodate our needs as we had an infant with us this year. Excellent value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Review 4:- Everything perfect!!

Review 5:- All was perfect for relaxing 2-3 days in a muntain location during a very hot Greek summer - A small but very nice outdoor swimming pool - A staff so efficient, nice and helpful - A marvelous breakfast

Review 6:Only negative points I can give we're that the hotel is a good twenty drive from volos not the 5km to the centre of volos as advertised on bookings.com. So only suitable if you don't mind the travel by car or taxi to get to volos. Other negative point was the swimming pool water was very cold and aircon needed to be a touch more powerful.

Review 7:Tranquil location with fantastic scenery from the view of our balconies. Rooms well equipped and close to pool and reception. Alexis who works at the hotel was very welcoming and friendly and he gave us fantastic sightseeing and travel tips including help with the road maps. Charoula on reception was extremely friendly too and always happy to give advice and helped me out very quickly with a few small problems on arrival. They also helped me out with some laundry washing which was not part of the hotels responsibility but helped anyway. We truly loved our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone!!!

Review 8:The place is very well maintained, nice pool, good breakfast. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony, which we were very happy about. We had a lovely view of the pool and the mountains. A special thanks to Irene who took good care of us.

Review 9:The room was comfortable but could use some attention to details. The furniture looked dated. With a little effort this hotel could be exceptional.

Review 10:The location was breathtaking. The grounds were very tidy. The staff very helpful and attentive.

Review 11:Everything was perfect about the room and the staff. The dinner we had in the hotel's restaurant was amazing. Last but not least, the breakfast, huge buffet with great variety, local products, best way to start your day!

Review 12:Nothing

Review 13:Everything was great. This hotel's placement is great, it is a bit hard to find but once you're there you'll realize that it worth all the effort. The view from the terrace is magnificent, everything is spotless clean. The room furniture is new and so is the bathroom. The breakfast was rich, with plenty of dishes to choose from. I'll definitely visit again

Review 14:All works perfect. The people running the hotel, the breakfast, the view, the location, comfort and cleaningness. Our second time here and definetely not the last, as we even have a favourite room at this hotel which we always book.

Review 15:Very nice location and quiet room, very good for those seeking to calm down during holiday. Nice breakfast and very helpful and polite stuff. Excellent and very clean room, very good value for money overall. Excellent WiFi reception.

Review 16:If you are looking for an intimate, quiet, relaxing hotel in Pelion this is the place to go. The picturesque village of Portaria is just above Volos and it's quite the drive to the beautiful seaside of Pelion but it's worth it because of the hotel - great breakfast, superb and kind staff (who were of great help on a number of occasions), beautiful location, intimate feel and fun pool for the kids. We stayed for six nights and so sad to leave.

Review 17:Bit hard to find - especially at night ! Breakfast was also a little limited and could do with starting at 07.30am rather than circa 8.15am

Review 18:The location is ideal as a different experience to the cost locations with great views around. Pool was clean with water sourced from mountain spring. Staff excellent and friendly and the chef cooks lovely food.

Review 19:We stayed here for 7 nights, 6 adults and 1 baby. The staff were amazing couldn't ask for lovelier people! All kind and helpful, especially karoline she made our stay extra special. Rooms & view was amazing- we had excellent rooms overlooking volos. Best place to stay in Greece. You won't find anywhere else like this! Missing it very very much!

Review 26:No such thing

Review 27:Best staff we ever run into, beautiful resort, great breakfast, very comfortable room and bed. In total great value for money!!!

Review 28:The carpet wasn't clean and the double bed was not double, it was 2 single beds together

Review 29:Wonderful location, a really lovely retreat above Volos and a superb pool to relax in after a day on the twisty roads of beautiful Pelion

Review 30:Breakfast included traditional Greek cuisine. Really good.

Review 31:Good location . Clean and friendly. Comfortable rooms . Nice pool. Good breakfast.

Review 32:Everything was great, from the reception to checkout. Kind staff, very nice breakfast and other meals, confortable room, good pool (it was summer)

Review 33:The wifi signal needs to be improved

Review 34:Caring staff, delicious breakfast, bath towels were replaced every day, confortable bedroom

Review 35:Dinner at 8.30pm and breakfast at 8.30am is too late for travellers.

Review 36:It is interesting to stay in a room that is built like an Ottoman house. It is way up the hill side so the drive is difficult but the views are great. There is a turn left sign for the hotel once you get into Portaria, but you need to understand that you turn not at the next cobbled lane but at the next paved road.

Review 37:The view from our double room was not 'panoramic'- as advertised-but that of the building in front

Review 38:Nice setting, polite staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast

Review 39:Not easy to find but after a small search all good!

Review 40:Staff was excellent, room clean lovely view, fireplace perfect, breakfast was nice could do with a bit more variety, great value

Review 41:Very large and comfortable rooms. Very nice breakfast with a large variety of pastries. Quiet location in a beautiful region between Pagasetic Gulf and Aegean sea.

Review 42:one ''small'' detail: one night we was very mussy from the horrible behavior from one folk dance team; conclusion : to avoid the teams

Review 43:hotel clean, very friendly staff ,good design, designed for the people who don't disturb the peace

Review 44:The distance to the local beached varies from 30 - 45 minutes min.

Review 45:1. Very clean. 2. Personnel very gentle trying always hard to offer a very good service. 3. Very good attitude and despite that the hotel does not accept animals they have very civilized behavior with the strayed animals without causing problems to the guests or affecting the extremely clean and quite environment of the hotel. It is important to mention such issues as they are closely related to the general attitude and civilized behavior in all aspects and they are bright example vs other local business men. 4. The location is breathtaking. 5. The food is great in the hotel with local products and very clean. Very good service and customer service in general. They maintain all facilities extremely well. Very clean toilet and with good space. Big rooms and lot of parking space. Clean swimming pool with very nice view of the mountains and quite.

Review 46:nice large and clean rooms. good and rich breakfast. it is close to the popular village of portaria- yet it is quiet and off the main road with traffic.

Review 47:I cab hardly find anything negative to mention!

Review 48:Very good location. Friendly personnel. Room was being cleaned on daily basis. Breakfast included almost everything.

Review 49:Tout e Friendly welcoming. Very quiet. Beautyful room. Good breakfast. All was perfect.

Review 50:Great hotel with a traditional style as well as today's conveniences. Very kind staff, clean rooms and tasteful food.

Review 51:The food and the service

Review 52:- nice breakfast -baked vegetables -friendly people -perfect environment and view

Review 53:We really enjoyed our stay. the view, the atmosphere, the food were excelent.

Review 54:Rooms were a bit run down

Review 55:Surroundings Town/view Bfst Pool for kids

Review 56:the room swimming pool the location the breakfast the food services

Review 57:That I didn't have a balcony

Review 58:I liked the fact that this is a quiet hotel as that was what I was looking for.

Review 59:air condition was not installed in proper location, poor wifi in the room, average breakfast

Review 60:view, location, relaxation
