Review 1：It would be absolutely perfect, if at least one person from staff understand / speak English.

Review 2：Quiet place to rest and relax, nice surroundings, stuning views, comfortable apartments. Feeling like at home. Nearly perfect base to stay when travelling with a car - you rest in Werfenweng and can easily reach Eisriesenwelt, Werfen Castle, Liechtenstein Gorge, Berchtesgaden or Salzburg literally in minutes.

Review 3：Really lovely hosts,and only a short walk from restaurants. However if you decide to cook your own meals you will need a car to get to the supermarket as it is about 5km away.

Review 5：Werfenweng was a very pleasant village with beautiful scenery, and just 10 minutes to A10 or route 159 This was our very best stay in all respects. Parking at door, outstanding breakfast with service, modern bath, etc.

Review 6：The pension is located in a picturesque setting. The house is impeccably clean except for toys littering some places but as a family with young children, we understand that all too well. We got a spacious room en suite with a bedroom , large bathroom, and a kitchenette. The furnishings and layout are very typical of the area and a bit dated but clean. As a family of 4, we divvied up the sleeping arrangements. The sofa bed was already made up and was not comfortable but no surprise there. The beds in the actual bedroom were great. The breakfast is an extra charge but very reasonable. Liked it a lot. The owners serve you coffee, tea at the table and are very friendly and motherly, if you enjoy that sort of thing. We were amused when one of them pushed my husband down on the seat, got him an extra egg and told him to eat. Obviously, she ha a son. LOL. Our little children loved all the toys and were able to run about freely. They were welcomed and encouraged to use all the toys. Very generous. Sadly, we stayed only one night but would love to return to Werfenweng. Gorgeous town, family friendly places, and welcoming Haus Kathrin.

Review 7：A dish washer and laundry are really missing. Furniture a bit old fashioned.

Review 9：Only one thing which is not their fault. Beware. If you use a bavigation system (I tried two different ones) it will take you to the top of a nearby hill whereas in fact, the house is located close to the center of the village. Be sure to ask for exact directions or consult a good map ahead.

Review 10：This place is just great. A nice large appartment with everything you need. The family running the place are extremely nice and helpful. I looked for a place to do my laundry, and they were so generous as to do it for me free of charge. You can choose whether to have breakfast served by them or to prepare on your own, and even ask for fresh bread an evening before.

We booked a double room and got a full-equiped apartment for the same price (due to unavailability of rooms) Very well decorated and furnished, especially if compared with other typical alpine houses. Review 51：The views from the balconies were amazing and these seem to be attached to every room. The town was lovely with a food shop within a few minutes walk and many other food shops a short drive away. The family running the hotel invited us for free strudle and coffee and gave us ample information on walks and places to visit. It was quiet and peaceful and I would definitely stay thre again.

Review 56：The place is "unfoundable", it's located on a street called "lamperbach" which exist in many places in 5 km radius from the hotel, so the GPS pointed us to the wrong direction, the only way to find the hotel is to ask someone. The breakfast is mediocre, you get one boiled egg, one cup of coffee/tea and some ham sausages,cheese,bread,juices and jam.. it's not bad breakfast, but nothing to brag about. But to be honest, it seems to be the standard in austria. The staff doesn't speak English at all, which is very very annoying, you would expect from people that runs a place designated for tourists to know at least little bit of English, but no ! Pillows are very uncomfortable, and not identical, so one gets the low pillow and one gets the high one, strange ...

Review 57：I had a small apartment, it had kitchen stove, sink ,electric kettle and some kitchenware to eat and cook with, which was very comfortable. The room was clean and the staff were very nice (from little i could communicate with them). prices are cheap. Room Very good WiFi with 25Mbs, so you can Skype your family or check things on the web easily.

Review 58：Staff was friendly and courteous, very responsive and attentive to our needs and questions. Our rooms was more like an apartment. Very spacious, two rooms and a kitchen/dining room. It was suitable for families or for groups of 4 to 6!

The host is very welcoming, even she do not know English, she try to help you with as much informations. Breakfast very good. You feel at home.
