Reviews for Aabba Guest House

Review 1:Parking limited as hotel is in small street off seafront. Room was small for 3 people, felt cramped.

Review 2:Scrupulously clean, lovely breakfast with lots of fruit available. Beds very comfortable. Location good.

Review 3:We stayed in a room with a double bed and a single bed. This was just right for what we needed. The bathroom was small but clean. The owner was very friendly cooked an outstanding english breakfast.

Review 4:Not a negative for me per se, but if someone has trouble walking up stairs, they should arrange for a room on the ground floor.

Review 5:Fantastic hospitality, warm welcome. The owners are lovely, gave advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat, how to get places, etc. The room was spotless and spacious, the window allowed a view of the sea, so it was hard to get lost walking to the beach. Parking space provided. Breakfast arrangeable in advance. The area is very quiet, with only the sea and occasional seagull to be heard. The guest house is close to pretty much everything. Sincerely recommended for anyone looking to stay at Whitley Bay.

Review 6:Nothing.

Review 7:This is the second year that I have stayed at the Aabba and once again have nothing but praise for this guest house. I have provisionally booked again for next year.

Review 8:nothing

Review 9:Very friendly, great breakfast, comfy bed, got upgraded to ensuit. Toilet maserator noisy but they are so live with it! just don't flush in the night!! Would certainly stay again.

Review 10:Missing out on the chance to have a Breakfast as other reviewers appear to give the Breafast the "Thumbs Up".

Review 11:Very clean and comfortable room. Good location for the Metro in to Newcastle. Friendly Owner.

Review 12:Only critisism would be size of bath towels. Fluffy bath sheets are a must really.

Review 13:What a great guest house. Our room was clean, very comfortable and breakfast was very nice. The shower was very powerful - the best one yet

Review 14:This is a lovely place to stay, reasonably priced and very clean. Our room even had a view of the sea, and was very quiet so we had a really good nights sleep. The host was friendly and helpful, and breakfast in the contemporary dining area was as nice as you,ll get in any 4 star hotel. Highly recommended

Review 15:It was convenient for the wedding we had been to on the Saturday. We just needed a bed for the night and liked the option of not having to have breakfast.

Review 16:We only stayed one night, and it was perfect for our needs. 5 minutes from the metro, and 1 minute to the sea. Friendly welcome, and a warm comfortable room. Didn't have breakfast as we had to leave early, so can't comment on that. Would highly recommend.

Review 17:The street is a little run down but that goes for most streets in Britain these days councils have no money to up grade or improve.

Review 18:We were welcomed with smiles and laughter. We stayed at the Aabba it's not the Ritz but it's warm, comfy has all you need for a good price which did not include breakfast so we could get up when we wanted to and not be ruled by the breakfast routine. Something I hate is that when you pay for your breakfast but sleep in, its a waste of good hard earned money. Free WiFi a plus. We will stay at the Aabba again if they will have us (lol).

Review 22:The heating failed on the first night and the fire alarm sounded for a short while at midnight. The converted loft rooms have limited access due to a supporting beam blocking part of the staircase. The loft room itself wasn't particularly warm until the owner provided a portable heater.
