Reviews for Hotel Odysseus
Review 1:Excellent location just a short walk from the central squares (shops/ restaurants) with helpful and friendly staff. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable, and had beautiful sea views from its private balcony.
Review 2:the behaviour of the personnel during the hours that the reception is closed. rude and unhelpful to a young couple asking some basic check out info
Review 3:the location was excellent and the room was typical for Cyclades.
Review 4:The continuation of two separate names, Aris and Odesseus I found quite annoying. It is quite unnessessary. Why not call the newer part Aria boutique and the older Zaria Studios. That would be much more sending.
Review 5:The Odysseus is really part of the Aria. It's the older and cheaper wing. The two hotels share all the same facilities, which are all excellent or very good. The best thing is the amazing views and sunsets; the pool is first class, the cleanliness is second to none and the staff are all lovely.
Review 6:Rooms quite small.
Review 7:Friendly helpful family run hotel. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Beautiful views. Short walk to town Centre. Pool & terrace lovely.
Review 8:The hotel management was cold to the point of almost being rude. While a shuttle to or from the port is available, they actually drop you off several blocks from the hotel and offers no assistance on the walk to the property. You are a second class guest compared to the guests at the shared Aria Hotel.
Review 9:We were really amazed by the location, the view, and the scenery. The cleaning staff that greeted us was super nice and curteous. The property and facilities are actually shared with the "boutique" Aria Hotel.
Review 10:Prior communication with the hotel was poor, with late or no replies to emails. On arrival at the hotel, the receptionist checked us in, and left. That was the extent of communication with us. We were apparently the only guests. We found that the pool was empty, there were no sun lounges available, the internet was down, the room TV had no reception, and there was no hotel or island information in the room. There were, at times some maintenance staff around opening up and cleaning rooms and the pool area, but reception was always unattended or closed. All attraction information was supplied by locals, restaurants and an island travel agency. On departure, we were asked to pay in cash rather than Visa card, prior to their advertised policy. And finally, the room refrigerator was so noisy that we had to turn it off at night. Unacceptable and thoroughly disappointing. If they were not ready for guests, they should not have accepted the booking.
Review 11:Folegandros is a lovely, scenic, friendly and very interesting island full of places to explore. The hotel room had a good ocean view, and was compact and clean.
Review 12:I never say this but nothing I didn't like. I'd just be nit picking.
Review 13:Comfortable bed Great wifi Wonderful pool and setting close to everything. Sunsets. Service. Everything!
Review 14:Rooms are small, but given all the positives of hotel location & ambience, you don't mind the cramped rooms. Also, full beds are two twin beds put together
Review 15:Location is spectacular with nice, clean pool situated on top of hillside with breathtaking views. Convenient location to center of town, yet it feels private.
Review 16:Maybe the noise of the fridge...but not a big deal
Review 17:View, beautiful pool area, lovely room and terrace, location (2 minutes walk from Chora). It's a little gem overlooking the Aegean sea and sunset.
Review 18:Brekfast is not included and even though paying 10€ is not exceptional. Toilets are really small and sloghtly old. The shower courtain was too short so everyday we flooded the toilet.
Review 19:Great setting, close to Chora center and with nice views over the sea. Clean rooms and fairly good value for money
Review 20:Nothing!
Review 21:The hotel was just a few steps from the Chora and had a breathtaking view over the Aegean. Comfortable rooms, nice pool and very good service! Highly recommended!
Review 22:The staff (particularly Jo & Danielle) were so helpful & friendly - they went out of their way to make our holiday a great holiday! Our rooms were spacious & clean and we had a fantastic view of the beautiful Aegean. The breakfast was good & again the view from the outdoor restaurant was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Review 23:Maybe the wind. But the hotel was perfect.
Review 24:Very warm Welcome Incredible view over the island and the sea. The staff is great and always available. Our ferry was delayed and we had the possibility to Check out late and Enjoy the hotel until 11 pm + transfert shuttle on our demand. Excellent sense of hospitality.
