Reviews for Guest House Daniela
Review 1:The location of the property is great. Down the stairs and you can go swimming in the crystal clear water by the water polo area off the ramp where a lot of the locals swim. Close to cafes and restaurants and so peaceful and quiet at night. The share kitchen was great for self catering with everything you need to cook. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the shared terrace by the kitchen was a great spot to sit and chat with other guests if you wanted to. The room was really clean and had a small verandah to enjoy the views of the beach and the sea. If you want to stay in a quiet location, this is the spot.
Review 2:Steps up to the house that can be a bit difficult for people with reduced mobility.
Review 3:The location, very quiet area with great places to eat nearby. Boat transport, 30 minutes to Dubrovnik. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Great views from most rooms. Great swimming area from the pier and beach directly below the house.
Review 4:A little difficult to get up the stairs to the guesthouse with our small children and a lot of baggage. Would have been practical with a fridge in the kitchen.
Review 5:Amazing view from the balcony, very clean place, good kitchen facilities and a nice social atmosphere in the kitchen terrace area. Very helpful hosts. We are going to book again later this year.
Review 6:Seaview, a few steps down and you are on the beach. Small village out of the craziness of the big cities, but easy to go to Dubrovnik by boat. Local bar and restaurants are great too, friendly and very good food for an affordable price. We will go again!
Review 7:Quite small and simply room, without TV!, tiny bathroom (no ventilation!) and lots of stairs to get the upper rooms which are the "superior ones".Anyway,I would recommand this location to those who care only about beach and sea.
Review 8:Good position, close to the beach, great view of the bay from the upper terrace, friendly and helpful owners, good parking place and silent and charming neighbourhoods
Review 9:The room was very small and the bathroom cramped. The kitchen was on a lower level and tables are on an uncovered terrace. It was cold(or cool) to eat there in the morning and evening. The balcony off the room was tiny.Access to the room was up several flights of outside steps. It would not suit unfit people.
Review 10:It was clean and the family were all very friendly. It's a room which would be fine for one or two nights - not any longer. It was not expensive.
Review 11:2 single beds with very small sheets not allowing any tuck in. Thin towels. Only 1 blanket and one pillow each. No fan on bathroom. Small shower. Air conditioner on adjoining room wall - too noisy for the neighbors to run it at night.
Review 12:Good view. Friendly owners.
Review 13:It was all rather tired and drab. Ok for a couple of nights but we were there 6 days. It sums it all up really, that they couldnt be bothered to put any sign up anywhere of the guest house, so every visitor has to wander about lost after a long journey before asking locals. There are 82 STEEP UNEVEN STEPS to the top floor, so its not for the faintheated. We were still wheezing on the last day! We didnt expect luxury but for the price we paid out of main season, they could have replaced the rotting chairs and tatty tablecloths. There is an adequate but depressing kitchen area with mismatched old chairs etc from the 70s! A toaster would have made self made breakfasts so much easier. We were told it was broken, but they didn-t replace it - which would have been easy enough and inexpensive. They also only take CASH.
Review 14:Good pts: comfy bed, hot shower, good wifi, great views from top balcony.
Review 15:- pretty far from Dubrovnik (bus #10, 18 kun for single journey) - common kitchen (very tiny), for 2 families not possible, hav to wait for your turn. But well equiped - many stares (with big luggage its a challange)
Review 16:- nice beach - no city rush and tourists crowds - very relaxed holidays - common kitchen in 2 words: very nice location for beach holidays. For those who dont like to spend whole day at the beach - only way out to rent car (nearby). in front of the guesthouse is pier with boats to Dubrovnik (40 kun signle journey) and islands. But we were satisfied with our experience. Just make sure you know what to expect.
Review 17:The room which we had was really tiny.
Review 18:The place is fully equipped with kitchen, washing machine shared with 2 other rooms. Blaco is really helpful and so his wife, Daniella and son, Nicole. Recommend to take the front rooms. I would definitely go again to their place.
Review 19:If you are looking for an autentic croatian sea house, this is the perfect place for you.We were very welcomed by a nice couple who showed us an unknown croatian cosiness. They were always available and attentive.Towels were often offered and kitchen was prepared with necessary tools. The atmosphere is really autentic, charmant and,the most important, with an amazing view. You can have it for yourself if you choose the right room.Everything was clean and the silent surroundings allowed a deep sleep with the sound of the adriatic as background.Beaches are just under your nose, and several restaurants to enjoy.Location is good for bus and taxi boats. It was for sure a place to remember, recommend and come back. Obrigado!
Review 20:Our room hadn't sea view as it was in description. Terrace is always in the sun, there is no shade. There are a lot of mosquitos. The beach is 500m away.
Review 21:Kind hosts.
Review 22:It takes you 2 minutes to get to the most close beach and about 5 minutes to enjoy swimming on the sandy beach. Lots of cafes and restaurants, very picturesque place. Daniela's family are very friendly, really nice and very helpful people. Daniela helped us to have a low price taxi to get to the airport. WiFi was stable.
Review 23:Perfect spot to get away from the main tourist hubs of Dubrovnik and Cavtat. Relax in Mlini- eat out every day at Konoba Lanterna, ( fantastic gourmand cooking; the sea food risotto will blow your mind ) and rent a boat for a day or two for an amazing trip round the bay. Best vacation we ever had. Rooms were great for the price but you won't spend much time inside anyways: so go for it!
Review 24:Great location, really friendly owners. Water taxi to Dubrovnik leaves near by.
Review 25:Friendly and helpful hosts, good location, free parking, air conditioner
Review 26:Problems with parking
Review 27:Very friendly stuff
Review 28:Far away from Old City
Review 29:Closer to the beach
Review 30:Extremely helpful and friendly hosts, tidy apartment and perfect Mediterranean atmosphere!
Review 31:The shower was sadly broken and weak and a bore. No or limited hot water, the fridge in the room was dirty and noisy. The room a bit small and was a let down after seeing the pictures on the internet.
Review 32:Friendly staff/owners. Good location, quiet sleepy little village. Good windows so any noise was kept out by the double glazing. The communal kitchen had great potential and the place had a fun atmosphere, just because the shower needs some work and its basic should not put people off.
Review 33:1) difficult to find (no sign with the guest-house name) 2) rather small room 3) no real table inside the room
Review 34:1) excellent location right on the seaside 2) fabulous view from the room's balcony (sea coast, beach and mountains) 3) fridge in the room (but not every room has own fridge inside the room) 4) kitchen with the open space dining area and beautiful sea view (however obscured with the vegetation) 5) 50m to the beach, 10m to the sea 6) very nice localization, close to the Srebreno and Soline 7) free parking space 8) very kind and helpful owners
Review 35:The room we booked was supposed to be with balcony and a seaview. We got an apartment with patio but there was a huge bush which was avoiding the whole view to the sea. There was no table in the room, only outdoor one.
Review 36:Excellent location by the sea and the charming promenade. The village itself is quite small and quiet but there is still enough choices of bars and restaurants. The atposphere in the area is nice and laid-back. It is also very close to the Dubrovnik airport and the city where you can have a ferry only 100 meters from the residence. The owner is really helpful.
Review 37:Great location in a beautiful bay. Friendly helpful owners who saved a parking space for us. Pleasant terrace and summer kitchen. Simple clean small en suite bedroom with fabulous balcony view.
Review 38:Just a bit difficult to find... follow the street along the see and the entrance is on the stairs in front the water polo pool.
Review 39:The owners of the hotel were really kind. It's located a few meters away the sea. A fridge was available in the rooms, dishes available in the shared kitchen which is very practical, and a place to eat with a nice view on the sea.
Review 40:Lovely location and super rooms, great family run the place, very relaxed, free and easy with a DIY communal kitchen so you can eat when and how you choose. Highly recommended.
Review 41:We especially liked the beautiful view and the quiet surrounding. We really enjoyed our stay in Mlini and recommend it to everyone who likes a beautiful sea athmosphere.
Review 42:Daniela and her husband were awesome! Super friendly and great with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Best location possible, right near beach and restaurants. Clean, good view. We had the room with our own bathroom which was nice. There is a kitchen that you can use and tables outside to eat/drink. We will definitely go back here.
Review 43:The kitchen is not good. Wall to wall carpets everywhere not very hygienic bad smell from the toilet. Bed hard as a rock.
Review 44:The view and the location is very good. The couple who owns the house is very nice and helpfull.
Review 45:We didn't like the communal kitchen which was filthy and had been taken over by another family who had no regard for other guests who might wish to use the facilities. One of our rooms was not the one we had booked.
Review 46:The rooms were ready when we arrived and were clean. The owners were friendly, helpful and courteous. We loved the view from our rooms. The guest house was really close to the sea and the beach. Restaurants were great and reasonably priced. Mlini is a beautiful place.
Review 47:Mlini is quite small so it wasn't my favourite destination. The rooms were clean but pretty basic. Also the guesthouse is at the top of quite a few stairs and then our room was at the top of yet another flight - luckily we are in pretty good shape! certainly not for the faint hearted or those with physical disabilities.
Review 48:Reasonable pricing with very friendly staff. We had a big terrace with a fabulous view. The location was also really convenient.
Review 49:Nothing.
Review 50:Beautiful location right on the seafront. Daniela and her husband are the most lovely, welcoming people and I look forward to returning one day.
Review 51:room would benefit from a few clothes hanging hooks

Review 53:nothing to dislike
Review 54:excellent warm welcome so helpful lovely people
Review 55:Nothing
Review 56:Everything
Review 57:Although we kept rooms with sea views and balconies, one had not balcony and seaview.
