Reviews for Aria Boutique Hotel

Review 1:Amazing location. Stunning views...easy and convenient place to stay. Pillows & mattress a little hard and no free standing shower in our room. Breakfast simple but good quality (not much choice) but would HIGHLY recommend this place. So peaceful and beautiful. Staff friendly and accommodating

Review 2:May be nit picking, but...... Service could have been much better -especially from the manager. Seemed to have an obsession with cleaningsun parasols. Came back one (hot) afternoon to find that the sun shadehad disappeared (we wanted to use the patio and the parasol would havegiven necessary shade). On enquiring - 'it was being washed'.Asked for another one (there were several dozen unused). Hours later, after sunset one was delivered - different and new). Same couple of dayslater when under a parasol by the swimming pool: the one I was using(many others not being used) needed to be removed for cleaning...Strange.... Otherwise: wireless didn't go as far as our room; Bathmat disappeared one day (very necessary as every time the shower wasused water poured on to the smooth tiled floor through the gaps in thebaths screen making it very slippery unless there was a bath mat). Useda couple of towels instead. Also, and probably most important for anyolder visitors unable to carry/drag luggage for a long distance -recommend go elsewhere. Got within 400m on arrival, but double that ondeparture as the van picked us up on the other side of the town, not farfrom the bus depot - at least half an hour before necessary so we werejust able to snatch breakfast (as soon as it opened) before hurryingoff. Overall a great pity as Aria had everything and with a slightlydifferent tone of attitude could have been near-perfect.

Review 3:Location, location, location...... And the architect made the most ofit. Great place, beautiful views (especially sunsets), excellentfacilities, scrupulously clean, beautifully kept small swimming pool, well prepared and good breakfast, good air con - overall a great placefrom which to experience the delights of Folegandros.

Review 4:Very good breakfast, fabulous view, perfect pool area for coffee drinks and relaxation. Fantastic view from room. Unbelievable friendly staff and management!

Review 5:Short walk with suitcases to the hotel from the shuttle drop off point.

Review 6:Beautiful location with fabulous views. Easy access to the village of Chora with excellent restaurants and nice small shops. Very comfortable and attractive accommodation and helpful and friendly staff, who made us very welcome.

Review 7:Nothing

Review 8:One of the nicest hotels i have stayed in in greece so charming and the hotel has a wonderful location with a great family we'll go back soon

Review 9:Staff should be more prepared to offer information on the island and most of all they should ask how has been the experience in the hotel. During the whole stay no one asked us how was our feeling with the service and structure, if everything was fine, how did we sleep. Nothing at all.

Review 10:Everything was perfect. Dream location with breathless panorama. Few meters away from main square of the Chora and extrem quiet. Rich breakfast.

Review 11:The lack of tourist information through the reception. Jacuzzi shower leaking water through the tub in the first suite.

Review 12:Wonderful location. We tried 2 different suites both of them being different and full of character. Spectacular view.

Review 13:Although the hotel advertise itself as a boutique with only 11 bedrooms unfortunately this is not the case. In fact, next to Aria there is Odysseus hotel (2 stars) which is a budget hotel with 12 bedrooms, that shares all facilities like pool, bar and reception with Aria. This is quite frustrating as the rates there are much lower compared to Aria. We stayed in a junior suite, which had best terrace with a sea view however we have experienced issues with a privacy as other guests (from both hotels) would regularly come up to check out the views. Maybe the owners should consider putting a sign next to the entrance that it is a private terrace. In addition, we weren't too pleased about the transfer to the hotel. First of all the driver wasn't too nice and then he dropped us off with all our luggage 10 min walk from the hotel without properly explaining where to go and without offering a help with luggage. For this price and considering it was our honeymoon (for which there was no recognition from the staff) we would expect better service.

Review 14:Fantastic breakfast. Great sea views, excellent swimming pool and hotel facilities. One of the staff members Dimitris was in particular very helpful.

Review 15:nothing

Review 16:outstanding freindly, Anastassia and Dmitris are the sunshine and learnt us a few words greek. Always friendly and helpful. It was hard to leave ...

Review 30:nice pool, helpful staff, free transfers to and from port, great views, privacy, good breakfast, perfect location

Review 31:The staff and service was without peer, making our week long stay with our five month old an amazing experience. Spyros was in particular an amazing professional, friendly and always at your service. The poolside breakfast was amazing, full of fresh baked goods still hot from the local bakery, great coffee, and delicious fruit and yoghurt. And the view of the sea and hills from our cliffside suite was incredible to wake up to each morning. It is a very special place that we would highly recommend.

Review 32:-no outdoor hot tube (just pool jets) -the bath tube in our room leaked, not a huge issue but pity to see it since the room was so nice -hot water was not consistent

Review 33:-fantastic location in Chora and view of the area and nature around it! -the village of Chora was fantastic, plus good hikes close by! -pick-up from the port was very nice! -great pool and lounge area! -comfortable and clean rooms! -nice breakfast!

Review 34:Exposed position, can be very windy

Review 35:Great location and views Friendly owners and staff

Review 36:The splendid view, the quiet, the well designed and decorated junior suite, and the gracious, accommodating hosts, Despina and Odysseus.
