Reviews for Moorlodge Country Retreat
Review 1:No WiFi even though advertised with WiFi, heating was put on a timer that we couldn't access so it was cold most of the time. Never saw any staff at all.
Review 2:The location is fantastic, the cottages are well laid out and fairly well equipped.
Review 3:Shame it's so expensive in school holidays ... Would love to stay longer but as a teacher school holidays are only option and it becomes way too prices for us at those times.
Review 4:Fabulous accommodation in a fabulous location.
Review 5:No staff on site
Review 6:We booked last minute late afternoon and when we arrived at the lodge no one was available to help. We basically had to find a spare apartment and sleep there till the next day when we found someone to help.
Review 7:in the master room there is a interlocking door. the noise from there was too much as the kitchen is behind it. as a suggestion it would be good if there was sound proof thick door on our side.
Review 8:the rooms were spacious. everything we required was there
Review 9:No one there on arrival, the pin code was incorrect and the second location for assistance was closed - generally very poor administration. Luckily the cleaner arrived!
Review 10:Very nice apartment and great location
Review 11:There were dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived and although the beds had been made, the sheets hadn't been cleaned since the previous occupants. Wifi didn't work.
Review 12:Great location. Lots of parking.
Review 13:Location of property meant it was difficult to receive a mobile phone signal . Unable to connect to wifi either .
Review 14:Stunning scenery , isolated property , nice bar with good food cooked fresh . Ample off road parking . Lovely clean comfortable lodge with plenty of clean towels . A great place to stay .
Review 15:The inter-connecting door from the bedroom to next doors living room meant we had to go to bed and get up at the same time as the neighbours as every noise could be heard. It was like sleeping in a someone's living room! The outside flags were very slippery when wet. It was a good drive from Skipton which is where we had originally booked. The restaurant was not available as there was a wedding on. The reception was not available to discuss our issues on three occasions of trying.
Review 16:The apartment was nicely decorated and furnished and pretty clean apart from a tissue left in the bedroom.
Review 17:We had three adults staying in one of the two-bed apartments - but the dining table only had two chairs. Two chairs were all that would fit - the kitchen/lounge/dining area seemed a bit full of furniture. Also, all the doors stuck and only opened with a big screech. The bathroom was large but the layout wasn't the best. The towel rail was a short walk from the shower, nowhere to hang our towel just near the shower.
Review 18:The ability to re-charge our devices with the USB sockets. And the location is fantastic.
Review 19:The heat detector that's fitted above the cooker kept going off when we were cooking breakfast. Mobile phone signal wasn't good.
Review 20:The master bedroom with en-suite. The fully equipped kitchen and the beautiful views.
Review 21:Second bedroom had no window or hanging space. Plates, cups etc were chipped and need replacing. On site facilities were not as advertised.
Review 22:Quiet location and easy to access towns/countryside. Easy check in and out. Two dogs allowed. Very clean.
Review 23:NOTHING !!
Review 24:Location, view, cleanliness, comfort, friendly and helpful staff, great shower; loads of towels supplied, WARM , quiet. .......a fantastic experience.
Review 25:No bin in the Kitchen, No Diswasher tablets/ No Dish-cloth, no tea towell. no chopping board, did not make cooking and washing up in the kitchen very easy/practical
Review 26:Comfortable, clean, warm. Good pubs near by
Review 27:Going home
Review 28:Unfortunately we were unable to spend more time there because of time restraints great place great staff Great setting and wild life We hope to return later in the year for longer to do the place justice I imagine that when all the heather etc come into bloom the area is real picture

Review 34:Excellent location for visiting haworth xmas events. Apartment warm and comfortable. Would certainly visit again.
Review 35:There were no instructions left on where to turn on the fire place (so we couldn't use it). There was no Wifi password left for us-so we couldn't use wifi.
Review 36:Beautiful and cozy interior. Everything in the kitchen that was needed. Privacy. Floor heating. Hot and nice shower. Everything was just pretty. We had our own key access. Nobody really bothered us or checked us in.
Review 37:a misdescription on the website left us without a couple of things. An oversight now corrected
Review 38:This is a place you can simply arrive and do nothing. It has all the facilities of home.Well furnished, It is exceptionally clean and the lady overseeing operations (Maxine) is truly helpful,She also runs an excellent bar/bistro on site so whilst you can easily cook,,, don't bother.. the food is good
Review 39:A bit cold, heating had to be turned up which I presume is under floor but we didn't really notice it till the room got warmer. Fire in front room could be better. No TV aerial connection. One toilet roll for two people the whole weekend, no soap, neither washing up liquid so had to wash the dishes just with hot water. OK the latter things we could of provided ourself but you did really need to pack these things be it for a short or long stay, especially at quite high rental prices.
Review 40:Beautiful location, garden with stunning views, nice layout, quiet.
Review 41:The decor in the living room was a bit unloved!worth having towels, bathmat,. Shame the basics in the kitchen couldn't be include.eg.washingup liquid, salt, pepper!
