Review 4：Scorpio hotel is situated opposite the ocean all roos face the sea while up arrival I expected a more run down hotel because of the excellent pricing but to my suprise I was astonished and ver to be firstly greeted by the hotel manager pop who greeted me and was aware of my long journey it was an express check in the interior is a modern decor filled with flowers and foamed glass a lounge area and pc for buisness use As I entered my room it was fantastic the space was huge a comfortable and fresh room filled with all amenities a 4 star hotel would have a huge bed a safe and the best jacuzzi in the room enough for 4 people I was very satisfied after my entry I tool a long a mystical walk across the rd not even half a metre away where u r surrounded by the agean ocean bars and all convinient shops and first class restarsunts I made my way back from a beautiful walk and was offerd a complimentary bottle of Evian watr and made my way back to my room where I began a long awaited aromatherapy dip in the huge jacuzzi while so relaxing especially while it faces a huge smart plasma so u can watch TV relax and reminisce I then got out where I found a robe slippers jumped into the bed and I fell asleep like a baby overall scorpio is highly recommendedto all travellers that need a botique style hotel with fantastic breakfast hospitable staff members in which I give a huge shout put to thank u to all staff Ff at scorpio for making my trip pleaeasent and catered to all my needs cleaners are superb and the receptionist are outstanding Thank you pop and the rest of the staff

Review 7：We were 3 people, and the auxiliary (single) bed was really uncomfortable and noisy. The main double bed was very nice. Outside you can swim in the sea, but not more. It's kind of motel, nothing close, but good transport, taxi and bus take you to the train station. Some noise from the bars around.

Review 19：It looks more like a motel than a hotel. Noisy the all night with people coming and going, it's almost impossible to sleep. Breakfast is terrible. One of the worst hotel I've visited in my life.

Review 22：The breakfast was rather modest (eggs, toasts with butter, jam and honey plus orange juice and tea or coffee), but still enjoyable. It can get a bit noisy at night, if you are not lucky with your neighbors, as soundproofing is rather poor.

Review 23：The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, the sea is just across the street from it. You can enjoy a wonderful view while having a breakfast in a hotel lobby (in our case it was included in price of the room). The room was nice, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The reception works 24/7 and we didn't have any problems with checking in, although our flight was delayed and we arrived around 2 a.m. The lady at the reception was extremely nice and helpful. Generally the hotel is lovely and I would definitely suggest it to those who need to stay in Piraeus port area

Review 24：dirty room, like in a movie for grown ups, when you book it the reservation says Sea view but you get tiny room in red color with backyard view, for smokers (I hate room for smokers) and personnel who tells you that it just air freshener they use. Bathroom was also terrible, small and dirty

We had to leave before breakfast and they didn't have anything packed for us to take with us (as I have heard many European hotels will do if you check out early). I wish we had more time to enjoy the view from our room, the hotel is right on the water. Loved our stay here and would recommend.

Review 37：It should be stated that the room had a rather "sexual" theme. You get surprised when you find out that there's a huge mirror by the bed and another one on the ceiling above the -again- bed. I guess the purple-red-blueish lightening has been installed to get people in the mood. I must admit that initially I was concerned about the hygiene of the bed and the toilet. Also there are porn channels active any time of day without any type of password protection. These were not deal-breaking issues for a solo traveller but if you are travelling with kids you should beware. The hotel can be reached by car, bus or taxi. You cannot reach it by walking. Public transport options are limited.

TIP Dont bother with the buses...just take a cab to check out Pireus or to the port from the hotel. Its never more than 4 euros in any direction

Review 59：At first it was really difficult to find a hotel, perhaps it was a problem of taxi driver who didn't know the road or wanted to get more money... And in general, location is the main (and maybe only) disadvantage of this hotel. It took a lot of time to get to metro station on foot. Firstly we were a bit disappointed in one double bed, though we asked for two single beds. But later we read some reviews here and were a bit confused.. Okay, it was our fault! The only disadvantage is location.

Review 60：Administrators are very kind, they gave us an iron, call for a taxi for us, it's a big help cause we don't speak Greek. Our window showed us a wall of the next building, but the view of other side was brilliant! So we had a nice walk in the evening. Wi-Fi is quite good here that is not usual for hotels (at least were we've stayed). Check point works day and night, it was very useful for our early checking out.

Review 63：I didn't like the bathroom.... Beside being very small, unlike the rooms (which are modern) it seemed very old. Also, I didn't like the fact that there was no desk in the room, no hooks to hang jackets/clothes and the light was very "cold" (neon-like).

Review 79：Just what we expected and nothing less. Everything was available including a flat screen TV with for instance BBC Worldnews. Wifi was immediately given upon arrival and the staff was very friendly. There was nothing wrong with the room at all. On top of that, and we didn't know this in advance, they said we had the option to call the reception every morning to bring our breakfast upstairs so we could enjoy our first meal of the day on our balcony with a beautiful sight over the sea. We went to Athens a couple of days and the public traffic to the city is very good. Line 904 was outside the hotel, however we took a taxi to the Piraeus train station every day because it was only 4/5 euro's. From there we went to athens by train for only 1,40 per ticket. We enjoyed our stay very much !
