Review 1：Requested an upper floor apartment, request was acknowledged by the owner and we still were given a ground floor apartment. No big problem, but worth noting

Review 2：The location was excellent and the apartment clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was basic and nice, and staff (Tanya) very pleasant and helpful.

Review 3：The best things about Villa Avantgarde is the sweet, friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice and clean, had a big balcony with an amazing view. The pool is small and cozy, and you can always get a sunbed. The hotel was better in real life than what the pictures shows. We had a great holiday and will definitely come back! If you want a peaceful, comfortable and beautiful setting, you should chose this place for your next holiday.

Review 4：Hard to get to Dubrovnik City or the airport. A sign with a name of the hotel was behind a tree. - Hard to find No little shower gels

Review 5：Anna the owner. So awesome, always there ready to help. Mlini is a small quite city. Breakfast was awesome! Very clean.

Review 7：Our duble room was comfortable and spotless. Parking is included and free and we were able to leave the car there even after we checked out. The desk staff was helpful and friendly. Nice buffet breakfast! There is not a full restaurant in the hotel, but there are very good options just a short walk away. The location is great. Very comfortable to get to the beach, to walking area and to the centre of the town!

Review 10：Ana took great care of us when we arrived. She had breakfast for us daily plus my kids loved the use of the pool. The apartments were comfortable and the location was perfect!

Review 11：We completely loved our stay in Villa Avantgarde. Since we were there with our family of four, they even offered their apartment at no extra cost ( we were happy with the our family room we had rented). The apartment was very clean, fresh and light. Loved the colour coordination. The towels and bed lines was changed regular. The garage, the breakfast... was very good also.

Review 14：For the first 2 nights we got a VERY smelly apartment (bad plumming). This was a well-known problem by staff & owner. Afterwards we got another apartment, no smell, but dirty walls, stains, unclean kitchenware, noise from other bathrooms. Towels or bed sheets were never changed. Rooms were never cleaned (beds were done, but who needs that?!)

Clean room, everything working, a pool that I could not use because of the weather. The small garden was highly appreciated for relaxing. Good location, perfect vacation few days away.

Review 49：The staff were so friendly and helpful. Good location. The bay with beaches and bars are only 100 meters away, although a 15 minute by bus to Dubrovnik centre. The room was spacious, in a fantastic location and I loved the décor. I would definitely stay at this house again and would strongly recommend it to any travelling to beautiful Mlini and Dubrovnik.

Review 50：Not worth the money we paid. Bathroom is far from clean with linking shower and awful smell coming from sewerage. 4 stars is overstated, I would give 2.5 – where 0.5 is for air conditioning, swimming pool and garage. Breakfast… well nothing special, few slides of cheese and salami. Dining room is just next to rooms so you wake up with a first guest having breakfast

Review 51：Swimming pool, garage parking and literally nothing more. Quite quiet (at least at night) if you get room from pool side. It’s a good location when you consider Dubrovnik sightseeing, although not as vacation place – there is basically nothing in Mlini/Srebreno. However there’s a bus (no. 10) going to Dubrovnik every 0.5h and costs 15HRK (FYI ask the bus driver where to get off for old town as it’s not so obvious, and for return way mind the bus stop is not on the other way. You will find it next to bottom station of cable lift).

Review 52：Disgusting experience at Villa Avantgarde. Upon arrival we were told that all rooms were occupied. We had confirmation from the hotel and Booking of our reservation (even confirmed an extra bed we requested), but the owner just told us they had no rooms available. It was a big surprise and disappointment. Morover, Luke, the owner, did not bother to give us any explanation. He just sent us to another SOBE of his property (3 stars SOBE). As we were traveling with children we had to accept because we were afraid to find us without a place to sleep. But a 4 star Villa Avantgarde "spacious room with two bedrooms, kitchen, pool and Wifi" came to a unknown SOBE, in separate rooms, and poor quality. With such a contemptuous treatment, we highly recommend not to book at Villa Avantgarde. The owner will not book your room, although you have previous confirmation. In fact, this experience should concern Booking.com. Booking should check who he associates with. I highly recommend Booking to get rid of Villa Avantgarde immediately. It discredits Booking´s confidence.

Review 54：Photos are random and do not represent specific apartments (specifically the 2 bed superior apt photos are incorrect). We had to move during the week because we were put into an apartment on the ground floor next to reception when we had expected a balcont with sea view! Also pool photo is not the pool at Avantgarde! (it is nicer than this in reality!)

Review 55：Clean, comfortable accommodation, nice pool area, only 5 mins walk into Srebeno/Mlini for beach. Ana is very friendly and helpful. Free transfer to and from airport is a plus. Breakfast simple but plentiful.
