Review 1:Room was a great size, plenty of room for the kids. Natalie on reception was excellent! Friendly, professional, helpful and made our stay a great one. Also enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast next door.
Review 2:One of the children's bed was very uncomfortable. Very hard mattress, child couldn't sleep in it so an adult had to.
Review 3:Staff friendly. Restaurant & pub next door great, serving lovely food.
Review 4:i stayed for 2 nights and although i was given more tea, coffee and milk in the morning, the room was not cleaned while i was out and about.
Review 5:the staffs were very friendly.
Review 6:Good value for money and meal deal linked with pub next door a no brainer! Ideal place to stay if sight seeing and going places within a 20-30 mile radius. friendly people who work in both hotel and public house.
Review 7:Not enough pillows and they was very hard to sleep on
Review 8:The reception lady changed our room due to us not being happy with it. She also the day after offered us a full refunddue to the fire alarm going off
Review 9:the bed was uncomfortable, the room was small and smelt bad. I opened the window for some fresh air, and the constant sound of traffic kept me awake
Review 10:the distance to my meeting the next day
Review 11:Special meal deals not worth the trouble. Note, Tuesday morning 6.30am beer delivery very noisy.
Review 12:Friendly and helpful staff. Good clean rooms. Good choice of meals.
Review 13:So close to a busy road and we needed to leave a window cracked open for fresh air during the night and it was noisy. Second night we asked for a fan for the room as we told them our problem and they delivered with no problems and a better second night
Review 14:Friendly staff, great pub next door, lovely room with a bath!!
Review 15:Outside my room was an extractor fan which kept me awake with the constant humming noise. When I asked the receptionist what the noise was she said 'oh yes it's the extractor from the kitchen!' :(
Review 16:The locality to the restaurant/pub was fab. The size and warmth of the room was fab.
Review 17:There wasn't any disabled accomodation downstairs for families and I struggled with getting to my room.
Review 18:The location was excellent for where I had to be
Review 19:Noisy groups of smokers congregating on the decked area outside the restaurant, beneath our room window late at night.
Review 20:We enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Stanhope (Premier Inn) which was ideally situated for visiting family and friends in the local area.
Review 21:Saw rats eating on the pathway outside the pub. Food selection was burgers and all with chips. Prefer chef and brewer outlets.
Review 22:great wifi reception, comfy bed and clean room.
Review 23:Was disappointed to hear from friends they stayed in premier inn central the same night as me for £25 cheaper than what I paid.
Review 24:Was easy to find and plenty of free car parking. Clean, quiet and comfortable bed. Room surprisingly spacious.
Review 25:The mattress was so hard we might have just as well slept on the floor! I have arthritis and was unable to sleep due to the pain. Still a charge of £3 for Wi Fi.
Review 26:We were refunded for one night when we mentioned the poor night's sleep. Well done Premier Inn. Breakfast was good.
Review 27:We booked into the disabled room and were most impressed. Nice and spacious and the bathroom was excellent. I am a light sleep and although room was facing main road, we didn't hear a thing and slept very well
Review 28:No AC in the room and we weren't allowed to open the windows during the night. We could not breathe during the night and we resorted to keeping our door open throughout the whole the night. No telephone in the room to call for any assistance. Only one chair in a double bed room. Approached the manager and explained this but was not helpful nor did she apologise. Called customer services the next day for a refund and again lady on the phone did not apologise for the inconvenience during the night. For the same sort of price one can have the above facilities plus the customer services. Totally disappointing.
Review 29:Cleanliness
Review 30:Nothing apart from it was to warm in the hall ways stuffy warm.
Review 31:We were going to a wedding reception at tutbury castle and the premier inn was ideal to stay at. We found the location spot on. The room was very clean and we could make a cup of tea.the breakfast was very good.we enjoyed our stay.
Review 32:When car park full there is overspill opposite but surface and secuirity is questionable
Review 33:Good quality overnight accommodation with very comfortable bed and good quality breakfast. Would stay there again if in area.
Review 34:Our experience of the TableTable retaurant the first night was very good. Unfortunately on the second night the service was awful. Three identical orders (soup and chicken pie) took about one and a half hours and only then after querying the progress of our order twice.
Review 35:Didn't sleep well. Too much traffic noise, room was very hot/no aircon and couldn't open windows due to traffic noise.
Review 36:Room was clean, staff helpful, breakfast very good.
Review 37:Car park is across the main road from the hotel. Hotel looks rather old and and tired from outside. Guests have to leave the hotel and walk 15 yards (without cover from the elements) and re-enter the bar/restaurant next door for dinner or breakfast. (Fortunately the weather was OK for my stay.) Bar/restaurant is painted a dark pink throughout, - in need of brightening up.
Review 38:Reasonably quiet main road into Burton on Trent. Staff were polite, friendly and courteous.
Review 39:The beds were very hard and both myself and my family didn't get much sleep. They didn't have the new matresses in this hotel just yet. I spoke to nigh reception and they did try their best to help and soften the bed for the next night.
Review 40:The room was lovely and the staff were very helpful and tried to help with the beds being too hard. Also i came home to a voice mail saying i had been refunded under "the great night's sleep guarentee" so although i was going to phone them about it i didn't have to. (I didn't have time to sort it out whilst I was actually at the hotel)- I would stay again next year but will phone to see what mattresses they have.
Review 41:Far to warm in all rooms. Bedrooms very warm but not from radiators? Breakfast room so hot that I couldn't finish my cooked breakfast.
Review 42:Pleasant Staff, Clean rooms. Good nights sleep once the room cooled down.
Review 43:I found the WiFi connection really poor especially since we had to purchase for an extra cost. Breakfast was also not really good value for money.

Review 51:As with any Premier Inn this one was clean and comfortable - when looking for an overnight stay where the room is used for nothing more than changing and sleeping there is no better value for money
Review 52:Some of the rooms were a little too warm during the recent hot spell. The staff immediately, and without fuss, moved us to cooler rooms.

Review 106:Bed was a bit too firm!
Review 107:Convenient and clean, spacious room. Staff very friendly.
Review 108:Clean and comfortable
Review 109:The tap over the basin in Room 4 only seems to spray the water - mostly over my clothes! Why not have normal taps?
Review 110:The lady(Lisa i think) on reception was brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. Would def stay again. Food was good in restaurant but long wait to be served for breakfast. Glasses for cold drinks/juice had just come out of the dishwasher so were boiling hot. They could also use another toaster as waiting around for people having 6-10 slices per table was a bit silly!
Review 111:The toilet in our room didn't flush properly and the maintenance man was off sick , we were re embursed our breakfast money but it was a pain x
Review 112:The pub being next door for meals and breakfast was fantastic x
Review 113:nothing really, the hotel just needs decorating, we did spot a rat out of the dinning room window over by the bins, but then it 's country area
Review 114:nice & quiet, staff were very helpful
Review 115:The Hotel was good, but our room, was so very hot and stuffy , smelled of sewerage and was impossible to get a good nights sleep. Had to open windows didn't help much and it was very, very noisy and didn't cool the room at all. Complaoned and we were given a refund on the room.
Review 116:No complaint except the difficulty in getting a hot shower. Staff very helpful but explained that the system was through old piping and needed about 20 minutes to work through ! Time for an update ?! Mrs. Reynolds.
Review 117:My Son is a wheelchair user and I must say well done on your adapted room, it was spacious and easy to use. Nice restaurant next door. Very happy with our stay.
Review 118:the restaurant and breakfast was awful and not up to the standard of other Premier Inns I have stayed. The crockery was also filthy, I think the dishwasher must have been blocked up. The LED bedside lights were ghastly.
Review 119:Bedroom on first night was terrible - no heating, had to ask reception twice to turn the radiator on, and got very little sleep as the room was above some kind of machinery. Asked to be moved to a quieter room for my second night. Was put in the room immediately after the stairs, next to a door which squeaked and banged. When I discussed the lack of sleep on night one with the receptionist, and indicated I wanted to use the guarantee (no quibbles) and did not wish to pay, the receptionist said she had been thinking about that and as the noise was most likely the extractor fans from the kitchen, it was really the restaurant's fault I had not had a good night's sleep. She thought that given this was the case, would I consider a free breakfast rather than not paying for my first night. Really? An £8 breakfast or the fee for a night without sleep? The male receptionist who I checked out with could not refund the money to my card, as the system had crashed (again) and so used the old manual machine, and reassured me I would be refunded as soon as the system was up and running. I will be checking. The mattresses were not comfortable, I have used Premier Inn a number of times, and found the mattresses comfortable. But not these. Will not be staying there again.
Review 120:Nothing
Review 121:Situated on a main road with the car park across the road which is quite a challenge to cross at rush hour.
Review 122:Not too bad usual Premier Inn facilities, food at Table Table restaurant good.
