Review 1：The cleanliness and Hostess were both first class. The food was sourced locally and prepared very well and we did not leave the table hungry !! Would happily return tomorrow.
Review 2：No bad experiences but as it was October and slightly out of season we had to search for an evening meal as a lot of the local Inns closed for food between 2pm and 5.30pm but otherwise a fantastic holiday.
Review 3：The location was very rural, beautiful and tranquil for a good night's sleep. The property was spotlessly clean and Maxine and Robert were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were epic.

Review 7：The setting for this B&B was lovely, the room was perfect and nothing was to much trouble for Maxine our host. I chose this spot as its close to St Ives and the local area. The breakfast was great with homemade Jams and lovely fresh bread. You must try a cream tea, so nice.

Review 10：I actually liked it, but the wifi signal was temperamental as you should expect with thick stone walls - I liked that as it stoped my boyfriend checking his work emails haha! There is a computer in their office if you're despirate.
Review 11：So so lovely! The house is stunning, exactly the sort of thing I wanted. It's ideally located, only 10mins drive to porthleven and 15mins to St Ives. They upgraded us to a bigger room for free! There were fresh flowers, local Apple juice and even local water. Breakfast was delicious with incredible bread, homemade jams and honey from up the road. We'll be back!!

Review 14：Charmless couple. No one to welcome us, only a note on door telling us our room number. Unfortunately rooms didn't have numbers on doors! Breakfast was not good in that it was barely cooked (the fried egg and sausages especially) the 'toast' had only a brief acquaintance with the toaster being pale and uncooked. Got the feeling all was not well.

Review 16：The only slight problem was the bed.....perhaps it's a little on the soft side,also the fitted bottom sheet wasn't large enough for the bed and consequently kept on slipping off . And becoming very rumpled. Just thought you'd like to know, the rest of the facilities are first class

Review 45：The only things that were a bit inconvenient was that we had to stand outside the house to connect to the wifi and the shower turned cold when I've still got conditioner in my hair. But those really can be ignored when everything else is so perfect. And the fact that we can't use our phone makes us talk to each other more rather than be on our facebook all the time, which is even better for a trip isn't it!
Review 46：The cottage we stayed in was very clean and homely. The facilities were wonderful. We had a spacious living room and a lovely garden right out of the door of the living room. We were having tea in the garden in the afternoon and bbq in the evening, admiring the nice view of the farm. And the included breakfast was very traditional and tasty. The owner is a very welcoming lady and gave us many good advice for the trip. My boyfriend and I had a best two nights ever in a hotel. Highly recommend it to people who travel with a car.

Review 52：We returned to Pengelly about midnight and I had difficulties negotiating, because it was so dark, the walk down from the parking area until the level area where the light from the door solved the problem. I will bring a torch on my next visit.
