Review 1:Bit difficult with cases to get to our room. Would have liked to have seen more variety of shops seemed to be too many charity shops.

Review 5:Stayed in room No 5. The shower room was so small you had to dry yourself in the bedroom and virtually sit on the toilet to use the wash basin. Not good at all.

Review 13:The staff was wonderful, the food some of the best we've eaten in a long time and they cater very well for people with allergies. The kids loved running around in the garden and the hotel has a lot of character. The setting is very peaceful and serene.
Review 14:We had a room at the front of the hotel over looking the river, the view was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, the brown bread was particularly good.
Review 15:We stayed to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and were wished a Happy Anniversary as soon as we checked in as well as a box of chocloates left in our room. This was a lovely personal touch. The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. We would have liked to stay longer!

Review 48:Just booked one night for my wife's birthday and we both had a great time, we should have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the room very clean. We will will be booking again and want to spend more time exploring the area.
Review 49:Everything, from the complimentary champagne offered to us at dinner (it was our honeymoon week-end), to our four-poster bed, our romantic room, river view, and simply superb food. We loved the robes supplied, very generous provision for teas and coffees, and the toiletries. It was very important for us that this was nice, and we had a wonderful time.

We had a really excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant, with very friendly and attentive service Highly recommend this restaurant. A variety of starters and main courses are without exception our rating was five star quality on everything. The room deco to toilet amenities are in good standard and quality. We had two nights of memorable stay, definitely will come back again!

Review 52:The style / decor was comfortable but interesting. We could bring the dog! Service was excellent and discreet - was made to look seamless which is a sign of efficiency. Staff were happy in their work - attentive but not intrusive. Lovely to meet the chef after our meal. Food was excellent. We felt at home.
