Reviews for Bridge House B&B
Review 1:Owners not in on arrival we'd arranged to book in early 5 mins late due to traffic. Note pinned on door to call they said they were in the village so we could wait or come back later. I would have thought if you weŕe expecting guests you would be there to welcome them? No mat to step out of shower on bit slippery on floor.
Review 2:Comfy bed quiet location. Mugs instead of cups nice change from the norm.
Review 3:The location was OK but we found it hard yo find even with a sat nav. Located just a tad out of the way at the bottom of a hill. But no complaints it was more than acceptable.
Review 4:Very Clean and comfatable. owners very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.
Review 5:I felt the bed was very low and the mattress a bit hard, but that was purely a personal preference.
Review 6:Everything was very nice and comfortable. The shower room was spacious and very very clean and looked new, although there was no bath which my partner would have preferred. The bedding was lovely and the quilt very soft and warm.
Review 7:Only minor gripe was I like showers with a lot of pressure .. But don't let that put you off
Review 8:Stayed at Bridge house for two nights whilst visiting the KW Valley Railway beer music festival. Lovely house and so convenient for the railway .. Very friendly hosts and really comfortable accommodation
Review 9:No problems at all.
Review 10:Nicely located in centre of Haworth, friendly and well-informed hosts, great room, excellent breakfast. Checked in two hours early, no big deal.
Review 11:Missing luxury breakfast menu such as fresh croissants/ danishpastries/ different breads/ cheeses/ smoked salmon/homemade pancakes/ waffles etc...
Review 12:Really lovely hosts very cheerful and helpful...very comfy bed withgorgeous duvet...very spacy room...overall great experience and wouldlove to go back
Review 13:walk up to main st howarth but easily overcome by bringing car to pub car park at top of hill ( good food there too )
Review 14:lovely room, excellent breakfast ,vMartin and claire helpful and friendly
Review 15:The hosts Clare and Martin were very welcoming, the B&B is beautiful in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back
Review 16:When we arrived we were greeted by the male owner who declared he didn't have our booking. This caused some alarm until we realised he was looking at the wrong day. At breakfast the cooked full English was average at best. We asked for ketchup and brown sauce and felt as if we were imposing. The toast was served to our table in a basket, which another guest (who we didn't know) dug around in with his bare hands before our plates were brought in. When I asked if I could have fresh toast, the owner questioned why and huffed and puffed on his way out the door, it was all alot of trouble. I don't mind sharing a table with other guests, but expect my own food that they haven't touched. More milk in the room itself would've been nice as only enough was provided for 3 cups, so for 2 people not enough. The free WiFi doesn't pick up the signal very well, I had to stand on the landing to use it.
Review 17:The room was airy and very comfortable, nice king size bed which we slept very comfortably in. The room and bathroom were very clean and the towels were good quality. Shampoos and body lotion provided were full size, not fiddly sample packets. House and grounds were lovely and peaceful, nice to wake up to birdsong.
Review 18:Nothing.
Review 19:Bridge House is in a great location for exploring Bronte Country and the Keighley and Worth Valley railway. Free parking, good WiFi connection and a nice breakfast. Would stay again and recommend to others.
Review 20:Claire made us feel very welcome and Martin very helpful with local interests. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the garden. We would stay here again.
Review 21:Very minor, the roll kept falling out the toilet roll holder, so we put on top of cistern, problem solved!
Review 22:Martin & Claire were lovely hosts, the cooked breakfasts were delicious and filling. Huge bedroom, plenty of space so very comfortable. Best B&B we've had!
Review 23:I liked everything about the Bridge House B & B. The hosts were very friendly, breakfast was abundant, rooms were very clean. In one word: Excellent.
Review 24:Nothing!
Review 25:On arrival I was greeted by name, shown to my room and given lots of information, including places to eat. The very spacious room, downstairs, was very comfortable with plenty of tea coffee etc. Breakfast is taken at a "communal" table which is great as you get a chance to interact with other guests. I was not leaving Haworth until 3pm and when I asked about leaving my bag, this was not a problem, in fact I was able to keep my key so that I could let myself in to get it whenever I needed.
Review 26:The only issue was having to share a table with other residents at breakfast time. This was a little uncomfortable and I couldn't understand why there was only one table.
Review 27:The owners were super-friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely big rooms with everything you could need. Really clean throughout and lots of little extra touches (fresh milk, homemade biscuits and chocolates in your room).
Review 28:Access to car park. Overall a small detail if one is mobile.
Review 29:The welcome and information was good. Bridge House was warm and welcoming with great size rooms and ensuites. The rooms were comfortable clean and provided tea and coffee making facilities with 'fresh' milk. Wi-fi throughout - a bonus. Breakfast was as good as it gets! Freshly made fruit salad to accompany cereals and a rather good Engish to follow. What could be better. Great value for the price.
Review 30:It was a long way from the car park at the rear and down some steps to the front garden and entry to the house.
Review 31:Very good welcome. The owner gave plenty of suggestions about places to eat. Breakfast was excellent - Good quality food;well cooked. The communal table ensured that guests talked to each other at breakfast. Very close to the station for the K&WV Steam Railway.
Review 32:I stayed at Bridge House recently and as a solo traveller I would definitely recommend it. Claire and Martin were great hosts and made me feel at home, and I felt very well looked after. The Brontë sisters are believed to have visited Bridge house which is a bonus for any die hard Brontë fan!

Review 62:very nice host, good breakfast, comfortable living room and garden, fresh air
Review 63:Comfortable, very friendly and peaceful. We loved sitting in tranquil, Secret Garden like surroundings after breakfast.
Review 64:The breakfast room was a bit sparse and there was only one table so everyone had to sit together which wouldn't suit everybody.
Review 65:We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room which was large as was the bathroom. Our room was quite and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of fluffy white towels. The breakfast was lovely and served by a smiling happy Martin each morning.Martin was very helpful and gave us plenty of local information to help us get around the area.
Review 66:Having to leave!
Review 67:Everything. An unexpectedly beautiful 18th century house in this rather grim little town, with a lovely garden and gracious interior. Very comfortable bed, completely silent, easy parking, and a short (if strenuous!) walk to the Bronte Parsonage. And breakfast was delicious.
Review 68:couldn't get on wifi but then again I didn't ask!
Review 69:Excellent welcome from friendly owners with good local knowledge. Fabulous breakfast which was well cooked and very tasty. Large rooms which were well furnished and had lovely comfortable beds. Beautiful garden to sit and relax in. Very good location
Review 70:Thank fully my partner and I are social people, so it didn't bother us but the fact that you have to sit at a large dinning room table with the other residents may bother some. Is says free wifi, but could not find a code written anywhere in the info book in the room and no hangers in the bath room to hang your clothes
Review 71:Great location,, very clean,, owners were very help full, breakfast was just what you needed to start your dayAnd to climb the steep hill. Would stay again
