Dating back to 1898, the peaceful and family-run Sandbank House is situated in Hayle, on St Ives Bay. With free private parking, it is just 20 minutes’ walk from the South West Coast Path.

Review 1：Hand towels in bathroom were used unfortunately. Also, breakfast was not as advertised. Did not have yogurt or smoked salmon and breakfast seemed to be rushed as next group came in and there wasn't enough room.

Review 4：Stayed at Sandbank on the night that I proposed to my partner and could not have made a better choice. Julie was so accommodating and popped a bottle of bubbly for us to celebrate. We had a great stay, even though it was just for the night. Wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the surroundings and the beautiful garden.

Review 8：I liked everything about our stay here, but in particular I liked the "staggered" breakfast where the timing was such that as one table of guests finished and moved, we arrived at our seats and enjoyed and had the room and surroundings to ourselves.

Review 21：There were so many good things about this place that it is difficult to count. First though, the hosts who were just perfect (nothing is too much trouble). The room, bathroom and the whole property were spotless, everything was done to a high standard. The highlight must have been our breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the beautiful garden. We got the best quality of sleep in years (I am not exaggerating).

The B and B has plenty of parking and is in a great location for exploring. I would highly recommend and would gladly return in years to come.

The owner went above and beyond our expectations in hospitality, there was homemade cake welcome to us on arrival, the room was plush and spotless, the hostess ironed our evening clothing for us! Breakfast in the conservatory was relaxed and the quality fab. I would recommend for visiting St Ives and surrounding areas.
