Review 2：MIke & Maria are very helpfull and responsive - whatever we have asked they managed to provide it. The balcomies of the rooms have wonderfull view to the old city, the Castle and the port + wonderfull sunrises.

Review 4：No shower screen in bathroom which was on the small side. Breakfast was average. Pool was only a plunge pool. Not a swimming pool. Kitchen was not really suitable for preparing meals but handy nevertheless.

Review 5：Without doubt the spectacular view over the old port and the castle. Watch magnificent sun rises and full moon. It does not come better than this. Our room was the spa suite, which had its own spa on the deck. This is money well spent. Pick up from ferry at 3am in the morning was very much appreciated

Astypalaia Palace fits the mood of the island - welcoming, hospitable, warm, down to earth and memorable. Astypalaia Palace isn't about glitz and glamor (that would be contradictory to the general mood of Astypalaia). With nice rooms, Astypalaia Palace is about making you feel like family and making you feel like home. During our trip to Greece, my wife and I spent a good amount of time in Athens, Santorini, Nafplio and Crete... while we enjoyed our trip overall, it's Astypalaia that we frequently reminisce about. The owner (Mike) and his sister (Maria) were a huge part of the reason why we're planning a trip back to the island. They were extremely helpful, caring and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our time there. From the time Mike met us at the airport, we felt comfortable and in good hands. They take customer service to the next level - the island of Astypalaia is like one big family. Mike and Maria make sure that you instantly become a part of it.
