Review 2：Well laid out and very comfortable room (room 8) with decent shower facility. Nice to have bottled mineral water supplied with tea and coffee stuff each day. Good breakfast and plenty of it. Very friendly owners. Two minutes from Metro station and close to sea front - which is stunning.
Review 3：Noise from bathroom extractor fan was too loud and continued to make noise for more than an hour or so. Did not get much sleep as could also hear extractor fans from other guest bedrooms/bathrooms. There were no seaside views.

Location was quiet, seafront a 2 minute walk away,plenty to see and do within easy driving distance. Northumberland coast is absolutely delightful and, sadly, largely unknown to most. Hotel was utterly spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were delicious . I am glad to have stumbled across this hotel and will be returning....

The rooms were clean and spacious with nice modern facilities. Located a few minutes from the coastal front and the town it was a great location. I would definitely stay there again. Friendly welcome from Andrew is also something that a regular traveller will recognise as a positive start to a stay. Would I stay there again? yes I most certainly would.
Review 74：A small niggle - it was a very warm weekend, unusually so for the area, and the duvet was too thick making for a restless night. However I can understand that it might not be worth providing summer weight duvets if warm nights are rare.

Review 77：I loved everything about this hotel. The rooms were immaculately clean. The staff were lovely, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great -I was not expecting to get a cooked breakfast for a vegetarian but this option was there and it was delicious. Packed lunches were available -I didn't need one but thought it was a great idea and the other guests looked pleased with their lunch bags. This part of town is apparently frequented by stag and hen parties but the hotel does not allow them to book. There was no outside noise from other properties either so don't be put off by the location. My stay was relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable. We were two minutes walk from the seafront and there were plenty of great restaurants to choose from in the evening. I'll be going back for sure.

We were not disappointed: we had a lovely room with glimpses of the sea and the room was very comfortable and clean. This is a perfect place to stay if you are planning a city break (the Metro is a five minute walk away) or a trip to the northeast coast. It's also a popular place to stay for walkers. It's reasonably priced, great value and you will receive a friendly welcome. We will definitely be returning.
