Reviews for Atrium Prestige Thalasso Spa Resort & Villas
Review 1:If you are looking for cultural distraction, you need to run a certain distance by car or bus.
Review 2:The site is far from major agglomerations and due to this it is very quiet, calm, no disturbance by car or plan noise. An real oasis of calm to relax.
Review 3:- The food was pretty bad especialy the dinner. I've got a diarrhea during most of the vacation after I ate a pizza from the pool bar. I think a "prestige" hotel can offer a better quality food ingrediants. The food in the buffet also should be preserved in cooling conditions. -The hotel is isolated/far from other towns.
Review 4:- The hotel is beautiful and the stuff was very nice and friendly. - Rooms are cleaned. - A stunning landscape, veriaty of pools and the place feels isolated which can be an advantage for some people. - A supermarket at the hotel. (necessarily)
Review 5:Wifi was soft and jumpy if that interest u. The ac in our room didn't work took them 3 days to fix it and take it seriously the food of the main resturaunt is mediocre but no biggy. The pools are really cold. Not geared as they try to sell off
Review 6:The location is the best in the island. It's far and quit and peaceful but if u want to get a taste them all u need is to rent a car and in 30 min ur in business. It has great restiraunts. But even better local ones around just ask reception. Upgrade to pool room. Worth it. Amazing amazing place. Unbelievable view. Really really great service and hospitality
Review 7:Food is mediocre. Breakfast is soso but lunch and dinner in the main restaurant are a big miss for such a good hotel. If they fix this, then its a perfect A.
Review 8:The place is amazing. A crafted hotel with attention to many small details. Location is great, the beach is beatiful and the staff is amazing. A stunning landscape, veriaty of pools and the place feels isolated and intimate even when full. There is even a nice playground for small children which we used often.
Review 9:The staff was very welcoming and provided a 5* service. During our check-in Mrs Maya and Mr Filolaos welcomed us and explained to us all we need to know about the hotel facilities and location. In addition, a complimentary upgrade was offered to us tova deluxe double room with a private pool. That was a great surprise to us and made our experience staying at atrium prestige unforgettable. Also, Ivan, the friendly bell boy took us with the electric car from the reception to our room and also gave us a small tour around the hotel explaining where each facility was located. Great service and very friendly with a big smile! The room was very comfortable and the private pool was great for a late afternoon and an early morning swim. Also, complimentary wine, fruits, water, tea and even espresso machine was waiting for us in the room. We also had our dinner at the thalassa restaurant and there George and his team were very friendly and always at our service. Also look for the maître of the hotel at the breakfast area, Mr Koskiniatis, who was very welcoming and put us on a nice table overlooking the sea for our breakfast. Thr breakfast menu was so big we couldnt decide what to have! Overall our experience was great both from the hotel facilities and from all of the staff of the hotel and everyone was very willing to help us or for a small friendly talk. We will definitely go back on our next trip to lachania and we highly recommend it! WiFi is also available free of charge in common areas and in room and make sure to pay a visit at the spa. The hammam and the gym were great! 5* hotel with 6* staff service!
Review 10:Rooms next to the child pool are noisy in daytime
Review 11:Location, view, almost everything Thai & Italian restaurants were awesome, all of the staff is kind and friendly like nowhere else Wonderful beach, lot of fish clear water
Review 12:Internet connection, (but I was only using my Samsung Galaxy 5 phone, so own fault probibly )
Review 13:The food was wonderful, lots of choise from cakes, baklava, salmon, sparking wine, full cooked breakfast, hams, cheeses, fresh juices fruits to name a small selection And that was just for breakfast !!!. The cleanliness of the hotel & the gardens are outstanding. Even in high season you feel that you have space to relax and find a quiet spot to enjoy yourself. All of the staff are extremely friendly, Marcus ( I hope I have his name correct ) the Maitre'd extremely welcoming & the head Chef ( also Marcus ) perpares wonderful dishes . even the porters & housekeeping would go out of thier way to help. Infinaty private pool in 5132 And thankyou for the free upgrade & late book-out ( at no charge, thank you)
Review 14:If I have to find fault it could only be the wifi is intermittent if you are to far from main building.
Review 15:Service and facilities are amazing! Location requires a car or else to be part of a tour. Driving around is very easy. The local village of kattavia has traditional Greek taverna and great local people. Add it to you 'to do' list if you stay here.
Review 16:Wifi connection is poor and don't eat sushi in Asian restaurant (30EUR!) - you will get the same on the breakfast for free:))
Review 17:I loved the place and everything there. New, welcoming, comfortable, no crowds, tasty, great beach, super staff, though quite a lot of Russians but no discomfort at all. Will come back next summer for sure
Review 18:The dining arrangements weren't fully explained to us and the second night we ended up at a smorgasbord (we hate smorgasbords). But all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Review 19:We had a mini pool room and were upgraded. The room was very spacious and there was a lovely outdoor area with chairs and lounges overlooking our pool, the gardens and the sea. Heaps of storage space and a mini bar, kettle and pod coffee maker. Separate shower and spa bath with two wash basins.
Review 20:Took a family room - parents with eight year old daughter - they charged over €89 Euro extra per night for our daughter over and above the room rate - we felt cheated when the breakfast buffet was only €10 and the dinner at most €15 but in fact a kids pizza was only €6.50 - they said it was policy.
Review 21:Housekeeeping and restaurant staff cannot do enough to help you. Very friendly
Review 22:Buffet food in the main restaurant wasn't great in the evenings, much better to use the other restaurants and get waited on with freshly cooked food for the same price or cheaper.
Review 23:Great hotel, staff very helpful and friendly, lovely food in the al a'carte restaurants and good value.
Review 24:This is a fantastic hotel for relaxing stay! Very beautiful area, lots of flowers. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Comfortable room, comfortable bed, lovely views from the balcony. Tasty food restaurant. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days and every day there is something new to taste. This is the best hotel in Rhodes!
Review 25:It's a bit far from other attractions and towns on the island.
Review 26:Great facility and amenities. The staff was welcoming and attentive and the buffets (not our normal way to eat...) were very good. The views of the Sea from the property were amazing and quite romantic. If you plan on spending most of your time at your resort, this is a perfect choice.
Review 27:We were treated as VIP from the moment we set foot at the lobby until we checked out. Warm welcome by operations manager Katerina Mitsinioti immediately put a smile on our faces. Friendly staff kept it for the entire stay. Everything was neat and clean due to constant maintenance. Food was great and variant. Our room, a Junior suite first line from the sea with a privste pool made it hard to leave. View was breathtaking. We could actually hear the waves from bed! Isolation of the resort can be a downside for some. For us it was just what we were looking for- peace and quiet. Bottom line: highly recommended!
Review 28:To make pay a client extra charges for access to the SPA in a 5* hotel is a nonsense! Or it is not a 5* hotel.
Review 29:The breakfast was very good, abundant, delicious.
Review 30:Ancient Gym equipment High prices in the restaurant High prices for such a hotel that is out of the way. Average beach conditions no iron in the room and also not available to borrow.
Review 31:Views Large room Comfortable environment
Review 32:Wifi coverage could have been better There isn't a lot to see within a reasonable drive of the hotel
Review 33:Our room Friendly staff Facilities Basically the whole resort
Review 34:Great hotel facilities High standard of services Even fully booked hotel feels like half empty Calm and clean sea Good in-hotel rent-a-car service from Marathon cars
Review 35:The time for breakfast is until 10.30am ... We would rather it could be up at 11am.
Review 36:Landscape architecture of the hotel. An excellent location with private beach and quiet. Treatment staff is extremely delicate and polite. Feeling of freshness throughout the hotel due to constant cleaning and maintenance. We spent 7 fantastic days and we were treated like kings. If you do not want to dine at the hotel always have 2 fantastic restaurants and near i) Mourella ii) Tambakio
Review 37:Isolated , expensive , too many people from eastern countries, very isolated. Spa massage at 100 € for 55 mn is a Joke. Not sure it is good for families or mature couples.
Review 38:Lovely views , comfortable rooms , nice pools, friendly staff, Nice pools and access to the sea
Review 39:The stupid food I mean ok dog food tastes better oh my God.
Review 40:Almost everything not the food it's not good at all. It sucksplain an simple
Review 41:Wifi is a disaster (both coverage and speed)
Review 42:Beach Resort concept Amenities
Review 43:EVERYTHING
Review 44:Wifi coverage, not that much good inside room
Review 45:Nice view, wonderful design, professional service
Review 46:everything
Review 47:The beach is not sandy. People can pass by your windows.
Review 48:Beautiful hotel. We enjoyed our staying. Delicious breakfast.
Review 49:The hotel is really beautiful and the staff is really friendly. We had a great time.
Review 50:My husband didn`t like cooking. According his opinion it`s not properfor the 5-star hotel. But the other members of our family liked meal.
Review 51:Our family liked practicaly everything: friendly staff, comfortable andbeautiful rooms and very-very-very clean sea.
Review 52:No easy access to a village for alternative dining
Review 53:Loved the location, room with private pool and helpful friendly staff. Spotlessly clean, luxurious finishes
Review 54:It is a bit far from other parts of the island, need a car for all time.
Review 55:I have choosen this hotel for my wedding in June 2013 and came one month prior to check everything. This hotel is ideal place for a wedding, either you are coming just as a couple or with a lot of guests, staff will do everything to please you and make it a stress-free event. Agata, the wedding coordinator, is so professional. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Unique design. Great selection for breakfast.
Review 56:Nothing - it was perfect!!!!
Review 57:All of the staff were so friendly, nothing was a bother. They went beyond the usual cleaning etc, to folding the bed clothes and my nighty!! We felt very cared for but staff were also very unobtrussive.
Review 58:This hotel is like a small haven! You walk in and you can fell immediately the magic!! if you wish to have a romantic, relaxing and luxurious getaway this is the place to go! a big thank you also to the staff for their excellent service and hospitality.
Review 59:As an excemption the attitude of the individual in the Asian restaurantthat pushed as to go all the way through to the reception to make thereservation for the table and go back again!! And at the end not thebest sushi we have ever tried.
Review 60:It is the ideal place for people that want to relax during theirvacations. Quite, modern, luxurious, isolated, very clean with goodfood, brilliant design and everything you need to spend the whole day.Staff that makes the difference in such kind of hotels very polite, friendly and with a good intention to make your days more comfortableand easy. Nikos and Diana from the reception, Giannis in the mainrestaurant are some names that I still keep in my mind. On top of allKaterina, the operations manager, a lady with both a natural charisma ofinteracting with people and professiolanism that makes you have afeeling of a special guest. Steam bath one of the best that we have evervisited. Indoor swimming pool with heated sea water looks like a hugejacuzzi. It is strange that there is charge but still acceptable. Wellequipped, big gym with sea view with space for improvement.
Review 61:only stayed one night and had a poor experience in the Asian retaurant with a member of staff who clearly did not want to serve us "as he was on his own" and we had not booked. I am sure it was a one off but it did sour our experience and we ended up having room service..
Review 62:Beautiful location, Lovely building set in tremendous grounds. Rooms were lovely with spectacular bathrooms. Staff generally nice and polite and helpful.
Review 63:Poor wi-fi / only if you sit in the reception desk you can catch some poor quality wi-fi. And even that one did not work well all the time. Forget about wi-fi in the room, swimming pools or anywhere else apart of reception / lobby area. The staff in the restaurant was too busy, overloaded with the number of guests - so few times we faced them to be rude to us. definitely, the service is not on the level of 5 stars resort. The hotel is really in the middle of nowhere - so, without internet that you can not get in the hotel - you are cut of the rest of the civilisation. Full of famillies with small kids jumping and screaming all around the resort. The cleaning service in the morning was very loud and noisy, starting from 8 am...you could hear them moving the stuff in the room above yours and similar - so forget to sleap normally untill you would like. The beach was not so pleasant - there are much better beaches around Lindos. Lindos is 30 km and Rhodes city 70 km far away from the Resort. Definitelly, this hotel is not worthy the money they ask.
Review 64:The room was comfortable, but at the end of the resort, so it takes 5 minutes to get to the restaurant, 10 minutes to the reception area and 15 minutes to the beach. We were told that our room will have a personal swimming pool, but it was not the case. We just had a terrace with uncomfortable chears and small table.
Review 65:Yoga lessons only one time a week
Review 66:Excellent and friendly staff, nice location( close to Prassonisi beach) very good breakfasts . Thank you a lot , we had nice time in your hotel!!
Review 67:We arrived at 9.30 P.m and in the lift it was written that you can dineuntil 10.30 P.m ,so we went to both restaurants (asian and another one)and they said the kitchen was closed as the next day they had awedding!!! Then we called the room service and they said the kitchen wasclosed but they could send us a greek salad. In a 5 star hotel at leastroom service works 24 ours ! The room was nice (ours was 3046), thethalasso and fitness room very nice.
Review 68:This is not a 5* hotel, only 3*, not more. The territory is unconvinient. A family lux is very small, the furniture is very old. The landscaping is ordinary. There is no animation at all.
Review 69:The fact we couldn't stay forever!
Review 70:The hotel itself was designed so that despite having 500 guests you didnot feel squeezed in, the views and location were out of this world andthe staff could not do enough for us.This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in.
Review 71:This is one of the most beautiful, elegant, relaxing, welcoming hotels in Europe! And I've been in many! Superb positioning on the sea, at distance from everything else, quite, the greek village type of architecture is so subtle, the suite we had has huge windows facing the sea, they are making the room twice a day, the stuff on the reception is warm and extremely efficient, the jacuzzi in the room is very spa like, the service at breakfast is very careful and personal and warm, the food is so varied and tasty - you can have even bio-, soy- etc, and the numerous and enormous swimming pools are spoiling every guest in this amazing oasis!
Review 72:Nothing loved everything
Review 73:The food is perfect and service
Review 74:Nothing
Review 75:Everything
Review 76:wifi is obviously poor. even in the lobby. in the rooms was not working almost all the time
Review 77:perfect staff. very welcoming
Review 78:Our room was upgraded with private swimming pool, of course no complain. :-)
Review 79:Bed was uncomfortable and wifi didn't work
Review 80:Great staff and service. Beautiful hotel
Review 81:All good!!
