Review 1：Wifi in the room would have been nice but it was available in the common areas.
Review 2：The family who owns the place is very nice. Nice quiet area, close to the beach. The water is clear and the beach is nice. Really nice area.
Review 3：Needs renovation asap. A rather dirty room with a tiny bathroom, a tvthat wasn't functioning and we had to ask for another one, a minibar that was too old to even cool our bottles of water. We paid €60for one night without breakfast and in the morning we decided to buy acoffee and a toasted sandwich. Costed €4 per person!!!! Seriously?! Inother words, think twice before you book a room there. It's atotal rip off!

Review 16：The hotel belongs to the same family for 40 years. Therefore, itcontains all necessary for a traveler. We lived on the top floor of oneof the three white houses. We liked well-designed and comfortable roomwith a balcony and overlooking the bay, good furniture, the plate andpans for cooking, quiet fridge, perfect Wi-Fi and tastefully decoratedinteriors. We liked wonderful sea, the spacious hotel beach and we weredelighted with fine cuisine in the restaurant and delicious homemadewine. Wе would like to come there next summer.

Review 19：We stayed in this hotel for only 1 night as we went to the theatre performance at Ancient Epidauros. We would have liked to have stayed longer. If you miss the 'old' Greece where authenticity and hospitality come before efficient tourist turnover then the Hotel Avra is for you. Room is nothing special but has everything you need including air-con., comfortable beds and a sea view. Walk across the quiet road and you are in the sea. Having spent 14 days in Greece, this was the first fresh (not frozen) squid I ate! It was delicious and you get a huge plateful here. Over a basic breakfast of coffee, fresh bread and home-made apricot jam and honey (some eggs would have been nice), another guest walked over, introduced himself and gave us 4 fresh figs. Proud of his country, he wanted to know if we were having a good time. These details were why I fell in love with Greece in the 80's and I miss them. The owning family are really friendly - just ask and you will get it. But don't expect to be served within 5 minutes - if that's what you want-go to a tourist resort on Corfu!!! We loved it.
Review 20：Great location, next to a very pretty small beach (port of New Epidavros). Run by fantastic family. Very effective aircondtioning. Balcony with sea view. Fresh orange juice and home made jam in a hotel of this category / price were almost too good to be true. Convenient for ancient theatre.
