Review 1：girl who booked me in hard to understand, gabbled, not very friendly. Decor tired, needs an update but ok for a business stay

Review 3：We were greeted by friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. The room was a good size very clean and tidy and had everything we could possibly want. It's not far from a main road but for us that's a plus.

Review 8：Traffic noise, impossible to sleep after first lorry rolled past at 3:46 AM & then they carried regularly until 7:30. Hairs in sink & bath. TV didn't work properly, half of the channels didn't have sound. Breakfast was slow to arrive, then sausages burnt to a crisp. I will avoid Olde English inns whenever possible after two terrible night's sleep in their last two hotels I've stayed in.

Review 16：Our evening meal was a disaster. Many items were unavailable. The main courses are pre-prepared by the corporate HQ. The chicken was dry and tough; it had probably been over reheated. The cook was disrespectful to the service staff. Breakfast was not served hot and the service staff were not a happy lot.
Review 17：A very tired establishment, needing a lot of TLC. First evening meal returned to the kitchen, 2nd attempt no better. No pillow proctors used. The shower head and fittings loose, during a shower became detached from wall finally resting on the bath mixer taps.

Review 30：Very small and very dated room. Bed had massive dip in the middle. Bathroom was incredibly dated and extremely small. Am disabled so could not access shower at all. Facilities were clearly in need of a major overhaul. We don't mind basic but this room was a disappointment.

Review 43：We only stayed at the Dartbridge overnight on our way back home from a holiday in France, we arrived late and left early. The hotel was easy to find just of the A38 and was ideal. The breakfast waitress was delightful even though we were a bit too early on a Sunday morning.
Review 44：our bedroom was very smelly when we arrived we had to buy fresh air spray didn't make any difference so we spoke to cleaner who gave our room a good clean and changed smelly shower curtain was much better after that!! don't agree with having pets in rooms!!

Review 57：Food, in particularily the steak was awful and just a large lump pf fat with very little meat. The Room was tiny, dingy with a view of the outside toilet! They still have 1970's decor and though technically clean, they didnt feel that way. Very noisy from other guests as walls and doors were paper thin. Floor creaked so much I thought it may give way. The manager was cocky and intrusive whilst having a beer in the pub though the other staff were all kind and helpful

Review 65：The road noise was overwhelming and we would have liked to open the window but didn't because of it. The room had two huge wardrobes in it one full of junk! The bathroom ceiling sloped so it was not possible to use the shower .

Review 87：Hotel has only 10 rooms, our room (8) was a little cramped as one side of the room was the pitch of the roof of which I lost count how many times I banged my head on the ceiling. I suppose it was part of it's natural charm. Don't ask about the Wi-Fi no one knew how to use it and we tried for ages but with no success.

Ideal spot for a long weekend break Although there were a couple of trivial issues it was still a very pleasant stay. And we will go back again when we need a break for a weekend. So long as we don't get room 8 again.
