Review 1：The hotel is in an excellent, newish condition. About 5 minutes walk from the Chora. The spacious room with small terrace had an excellent view. Irini the owner is the most helpful and friendly person, always giving good recomendations, when asked, for restaurants, beaches etc. The breakfast with home made cake and fresh fruits is very good. Transfer from and to the port included. Perfect service, we will definitely come back!

Review 3：The Horizon is an impeccably maintained, newish and classy hotel about 5 minutes from the Chora and 10 minutes from the Chora main square. The location is excellent, the area is not busy and it’s easy to go to the Chora when you need. (The bus stop is even nearer.) The rooms with a view to the Chora, sea and the church are a sight to behold and during the hot July our balcony was in the shade during the hottest hours of the day. The service was friendly and the pickup from the port was a no-brainer. Irene, the hostess, puts her heart into serving us well. She helped when we wanted and needed help, but did not push her assistance, when we thought we knew better. Good breakfast, good coffee, yoghurt and home made cake.

Review 7：A very comfortable,clean room with a good bathroom. A wonderful view from our terrace over the Hora and the sea. Irini,the owner,was friendly and helpful and met us at the port and left us back.
Review 8：We had such a great experience at this hotel. The owner was very accommodating and even came to the port in the middle of the night when we had to change our plans last minute. They offer a free transport to and from. The property was very quaint. We loved the view from our room.

Review 10：Perfect staff: Irene (the owner) was extremely helpful and kind,arranged to pick us up from (and take us back to) the port, gave us anumbrella for the beach and provided information about the whole island.Perfect location: Located close enough -10 minutes walking distance- tothe Chora (the centre of the island) and the bus station while at thesame time located far enough so as to allow for a full panoramic view ofthe Chora, the sea and the surrounding hills (hotels located in thecentre of Chora are closer to the bus station, which is more convenient,but do not have such a great view). Very comfortable: Bed (although notexactly double, but 2 single beds together), big bathroom, nice balcony(the only negative was that sometimes you could hear the owners'children making noise and their nanny yelling at them). Very clean(although the sheets were not changed every day, we were a littledisappointed to notice last night's coffee stains still on thefreshly made beds). Nice breakfast: Irene makes a lot of effort, as shemakes cake and omelette every morning and has fresh bread delivereddaily from a local bakery. However, there is room for improvement as,for example, it is rather strange to serve imported, industrializedportions of honey on an island which is famous for its own honey. Theoverall impression was very good and would definitely recommend thehotel. Good (but not excellent) quality - price relationship: As hotelsin Folegandros are all rather expensive, the quality - pricerelationship of horizon hotel, relatively speaking, is quite good. Ifthis was a hotel located elsewhere, it would be too expensive for whatit offers.
Review 11：We ate in a lot because we were on a tight budget. They let us borrow the kettle for three days in our room, plus utensils and extra cups to cook instant noodles.
Review 12：Excellent hotel, run by fantastic couple. It is perfectly located just outside center of Chora. Hotel has amazing views of Chora, sea and surrounding hills. (Hotels located in the center of Chora do not have such great views). I think that thanks to the excellent position this hotel has best views on the island and very romantic as well! Rooms are newly decorated, very clean and have balconies or terraces. Our room had large balcony and it was amazing to watch sunset and sky full of stars at night. Hotel offers nice breakfast - our was included in price (typical Greek). They provide free transfer from port. Owners/staff are very helpful and always greet you with beautiful smile :) We were really sorry to leave and would truly recommend this amazing place!

The hotel is 5 min by walk from Chora center, and the place is really quite. The personnel was very kind. They organized pick up and drop off at he port for free
