Reviews for Hooray Henrys

Review 1:Really friendly people, felt welcome, breakfast huge and tasty! Visiting relatives and it was no trouble leaving the car their early. Comfortable bed, treats very nice, jelly babies and home made flap jacks. Water available as well!

Review 2:A minor but important detail - the lighting was poor, such that reading a book either in bed or whilst sat in an arm chair was difficult and a strain on one's eyes.

Review 3:The bedroom and shower room were of generous dimensions, the breakfasts were first class and the staff very pleasant.

Review 4:Very poor shower, not only in water pressure but quality, its a real shame as this really let the room down badly. Also do not have the smoked haddock for breakfast, it was overcooked and tough as old boots

Review 5:Good location for us, easy parking, nice room, good WIFI, suited our needs

Review 6:Very clean comfortable room.Jelly babies and flapjack a nice touch.Friendly service with wide range of breakfast choices properly cooked and well presented.Like the beach theme, and would like to return.

Review 7:None!

Review 8:We loved the quirky, arty decor and wonderfully comfortable bed. The breakfast choice was superb and the the extra details like scrummy, homemade flapjack with tea/coffee in your room and dressing gowns was an unexpected bonus.

Review 9:The beach hut theme our room was, The Kelling !! had its own patio area with deck chairs !! Also loved the little jars of jelly- babies & flapjacks !! Breakfast were delicious set us up for the day !! Emma & the staff were very friendly - helpful !!

Review 10:We loved the room. We stayed in the Kelling Room with an en-suite, huge comfy bed and a private terrace. It was perfect. We had two different breakfasts, the 'Norfolk Breakfast' and the salmon and scrambled egg breakfast - they were absolutely delicious.

Review 11:Shower temperamental but was assured this would be investigated.

Review 12:Comfortable boutique b&b in ideal location. Lovely room but small bathroom. A warm welcome, friendly staff & great breakfasts. Would recommend.

Review 13:Only complaint would be on both breakfasts, the haddock and scrambled eggs were covered with pepper, would have been better if my wife was asked if she was OK with the use of pepper

Review 14:Friendly, made welcome, clean, quite quirky, breakfast was fantastic.

Review 15:Cobwebs in corner of toilet and some mould spots in shower room cubicle. But these pailed into insignificance in the light of all the positives about our stay at this delightful property.

Review 16:Excellent themed bedroom, staff & Breakfast fantastic. Location & Parking great

Review 17:Not anything to complain about

Review 18:The room was superb, large, spacious, and yet surprisingly cosy. It had all the amenities and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Review 19:Ensuite a bit cramped. Some traffic noise but did not really bother us.

Review 20:Comfortable clean room. Interesting modern decor. Breakfast was excellent with several choices.

Review 21:Rooms very cramped, nowhere in bathroom to put toiletries ,toilet slow to fill had to use kettles of water to fill cistern fixed last day ,parking photo not indicative of actual size of parking space

Review 22:Location, Comfortable bed

Review 23:Ground floor room lovely with patio but a bit of a squeeze - not recommended if you want a five foot bed

Review 24:Close to town - 5 mins. Courteous staff. Onsite parking. Great breakfasts.

Review 25:The double room was small for the price and the en suite shower and toilet was very small . The water system needs to be looked at. Every time someone in the hotel turns on a tap you can hear it shuddering. Unfortunately for us this meant broken or restless nights sleep. The Cley room didn't let in a lot of natural night

Review 26:Welcoming host and staff. Breakfast was great. Short walk into Sheringham. Decor around the hotel is unique.

Review 27:Nothing.

Review 28:Staff incredibly helpful. Room good size and bath in en-suite was a nice surprise. Bed very comfy and the jelly babies and flapjacks were great. Great selection for breakfast.

Review 29:The shower room was very small and needed updating and it smelt very dank. Door lock needed seeing too as it stuck and was difficult to open. To access the shower there is quite a deep step.Maybe this could be put in the details as any one with knee or hip problems or balance problems could have difficulty getting in and out.i

Review 30:The breakfast was very good especially the choice of fruits. Nicely presented and served. Thankyou.

Review 31:Room too small, would book again but have a larger room

Review 32:Location excellent, short walk to centre of town Breakfast excellent, everything fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked. Wide range of fresh fruit a fabulous idea

Review 33:Hotel is on a busy road and due to the heat (south facing rooms - we had to sleep with the window open meaning it was either heat or noise) not very restful nights sleep. Curtains also very thin, so rooms very light at night. Rooms could do with a good clean - dusty lampshade, extractor fan, pictures etc. Floors weren't hoovered or bathroom mopped during our stay nor was the sink wiped.

Review 34:Friendly b&b in a central location in sherringham so you can walk anywhere you want to in the town Excellent breakfast (loads of fruit choice, cereals and full English or fish and egg choices) Really comfy bed memory foam mattress and large TV. Little treats, like jelly babies/flapjacks in the room. Plenty of parking, even though car park is a bit tight had no issues getting a space

Review 35:The bed was incredibly 'soft' and the duvet was so heavy we could not sleep under it. It was too much sorry to say. Otherwise everything else was absolutely fine.

Review 36:The best was the extensive breakfast selection. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Review 37:The main road at the front of the property was a bit noisy because it was carnival week but I did like the slightly out of town position because we were out of the way of the crowds.

Review 38:Very welcoming & caring. The room was really lovely. The breakfast was superb, the whole place had a really nice atmosphere & it was convenient for Sheringham & the area around. The little extras in the room- the flapjack & the jelly babies were a nice touch. Would recommend.

Review 39:A bit noisey because of road, had to keep windows closed at night. There was no water for 1/2 an hour first morning.

Review 40:The lovely building. Very nice staff. Good location to town. Very good breakfast with lots of choice.

Review 41:No hash brown with the cooked breakfast, en suite was small with no ventilation, freeview television was hit and miss

Review 42:Friendly staff, nice breakfast, style of the room, jelly babies in room

Review 43:We were welcomed at door and our stay was one of our best ever in a B&B. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Review 44:Hooray Henry's goes that little bit further to ensure you have a luxurious stay. We loved the Jelly babies, freshly renewed daily and the homemade flapjacks also renewed daily. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. More fruits than your bowl could fit.

Review 45:Whilst the Kelling room had a patio the actual room is very small so some people may prefer a larger room so more space to move around.

Review 46:The little courtyard decked out like a beach hut, flapjacks in the room on both days, very comfortable mattress, delicious breakfasts and a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.

Review 47:Only gripe (although that is too strong a comment) lack of full length mirror in room.

Review 48:Fabulous accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff, little extras like homemade flapjacks and sweets show real welcome for their guests. Will certainly return

Review 49:Room very small and would like to have seen some pastries at breakfast.

Review 50:Liked the outside area for the particular room we booked, everywhere very clean and décor is lovely.

Review 51:Welcoming and friendly staff Super comfortable bed. Lovely quirky decor. Excellent choice of breakfast items, including range of fresh, seasonal fruits. Wifi. Off road parking

Review 52:Room was style over substance. Terrace in permanent shade, room not big enough to swing a cat in, very uncomfortable pillows. Absolutely no air circulation, no windows, only a door onto ground floor terrace, which we very reluctantly had to leave open at night. Tripping over everything in the room, nowhere to put anything, same in shower room, no shelf.

Review 53:Easy walk to Sheringham beachfront. Good breakfast in very pleasant surroundings, served by lovely staff.

Review 54:Great location and warm very comfortable rooms , loved the whole ambiance, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are amazing and extremely filling !

Review 55:Everything, warm welcome, perfect clean room, fabulous little extras, the best breakfast we have ever had. All the reviews are correct it is perfect. Will definitely be staying again.

Review 56:There is nothing to dislike

Review 57:Extremely comfortable room with added touches of homemade flashback, pot of jelly babies and free daily paper. Excellent breakfast with good choices. Top class service at all times.

Review 58:Very welcoming, great decor throughout. We stayed in the lovely Kelling room and would love to go back in the summer to make use of the patio area. Breakfast was superb, with a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, honey, preserves and juices, plus a traditional cooked option, it was a great way to start the day.

Review 59:Not a bad experience! Just thought maybe we should have paid less for Kelling in the winter months as lovely outside space couldn't be used. And nowhere to sit in the room to watch tv.

Review 60:Great welcome comfy bed and amazing breakfast.

Review 61:We appreciated the obvious attention to detail and the love invested in this place.Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff. We adored the seaside theme of our room and felt pampered and rested following our stay. The selection of foods at breakfast was the best we have ever experienced and we have travelled the UK quite extensively.

Review 62:Everything was great from the friendly greeting from Emma, the comfortable room , wonderful breakfast with such a choice. Everything spotlessly clean & fantastic decor. Not forgetting the flapjack & jellybabies in the bedroom! We will certainly return. Thankyou!

Review 63:No negative comments are possible.

Review 64:The lady was very welcoming when we arrived, took a great deal of trouble explaining the facilities and making sure that we were comfortable. She gave us advice about the local area and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Review 65:The weather, but as with the great British climate that's something you can't book

Review 66:Very friendly pleasant staff and really well located, very tidy clean and well presented b&b def recommend

Review 67:Going home

Review 68:We were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived. The room was superb. I've stayed in smaller rooms than te size of the bathroom we had. Lovely breakfasts and friendly staff.

Review 69:Nothing to dislike

Review 70:We stayed in the Kelling room with private patio area just lovely clean comfortable room with little touches of jelly babies and cake. Breakfast was amazing with such a lot of choice

Review 71:Room a tad cramped, could do with shelf in bathroom and bigger wardrobe otherwise fine.

Review 72:Easy to find, walking distance to train station, parking on site. Excellent breakfast, early breakfast available on request (got at 07:00). Friendly and obliging. Wi-Fi excellent, although room a tad cramped in summer it had patio area - in March with wind howling this was not sampled!

Review 76:Clean throughout and with some nice tasteful additions like the seaside feel. Summer on the patio would have been nice but it was 31st Dec!. Breakfast one of the best with lots of fresh fruit and choices of cooked. Very handy for the town within walking distance.

Review 77:Shower cubicle needs some attention around the edges.

Review 78:Ample car parking. Friendly and informative welcome. Clean and tidy accommodation and room with ensuite shower and toilet. Good breakfast with choices. Easy to find. Ten minute walk to sea front. Everything very comfortable. Would recommend this accommodation.

Review 79:Lighting in the room, particularly bedside, was a little dim.

Review 80:Very warm and friendly welcome from our hosts. Good sized room with well thought out facilities. The unusual decor was really liked and has been a talking point with our friends since returning home. The breakfast choice was amazing.

Review 81:Emma, the host, the man who took our bags upstairs, the sleigh bed, breakfast and the whole design theme. Antique crockery and silvercutlery for breakfast, whole kippers grilled, it was all excellent.

Review 97:Everything about this B&B was perfect owners very friendly, room comfortable lovely ensuite and one of the best breakfasts we have eaten. Highly recomm.ended

Review 98:It was an excellent B&B but the only down side was the noise of the boiler? booming off and on well into the wee small hours.perhaps we chose the wrong room. Sorry but you asked.

Review 99:Small bathroom

Review 100:We liked the owners personnel touches (jelly babies and flapjack) also the friendliness and how clean the b&b was. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return

Review 101:Expect some traffic noise if you are staying in a front bedroom. Parking could be a little tight if you have a large car

Review 102:Friendly attentive staff in this very pleasant B&B Good substantial breakfast choice to set you up for the day Central location for easy access to visit quaint villages countryside, broadland waterway's and costal area's Certainly no shortage of interesting places to visit

Review 103:Small and challenging car parking area.

Review 104:Welcoming staff, comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, many nice touches like the delicious flapjack! Breakfast was great, it was not a soulless hotel buffet.

Review 105:Television suffered from atmospheric interruption - (thought I had crippled it !), but not a big deal and something the proprietors had no control over

Review 106:Excellent location, really handy for pub restaurant and within sensible walking distance of the beach and town centre. On site parking and bus stops outside the house. Really friendly atmosphere with super breakfast and choice thereof, and made to feel welcome by the proprietors.

Review 107:The shower in our room wasn't the best to manage for temperature, required patience

Review 108:Everything was excellent, clean and those extra little touches, loved the jelly babies!

Review 109:The room itself was very small with not much floor space or storage. The toilet did not flush properly. The kettle kept switching itself off. A power shower would have been appreciated.

Review 117:Cannot think of anything negative about our stay

Review 118:We thought the hosts were very friendly & went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Easy walking distance of town centre. Room was clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide range of foods.

Review 119:Not a real issue but the chairs in bedroom could have been morecomfortable for watching tv or reading the free morning paper.

Review 120:Great hosts with large and comfortable bedroom with good sized showerroom. Excellent breakfasts with plenty of choice of cereal, fruit andjuices. As a diabetic I particularly liked the low sugar choice museli.Cooked breakfasts were great, either the usual full English - which Idid not have but looked good - or Kippers - best I have tasted, so juicy& fresh, Smoked Haddock with poached eggs - again great choice orfinally smoked salmon with scrambled egg. Another tasty start to theday. The Edwards were excellent & helpful hosts particularly as wewere up for a short break in Sheringham but mainly for a wedding locallyso we needed late access which was no problem. Very helpful suggestionsfor evening meals locally, all good choices. Loved the décor of theB&B and an easy walk to the seafront with lots to see & beentertained by - a great fix of sea air as we live in the middle ofEngland, far from the coast. Good value B&B. Thanks

Review 127:Not enough hanging space in "Kelling" - could do with a full length mirror too.

Review 128:A superb B&B, with some lovely extra touches. The breakfasts were excellent and set you up for the rest of the day. "Kelling" room had a wonderful terrace too.
