Review 1：There is actually no bad things to say about the hotel. One thing to notice though is that there is no gym facilities within the hotel area. Caramel guests are free to use the gym at the "Grecotel sister hotel", 2 km away (to which they arrange transport).

Review 2：Beautiful and peaceful hotel with amazing staff - really serviceminded with a personal touch to everything. I spent my 40th birthday at the hotel, which was noticed by the hotel management through upgrade to a wonderful beach villa and celebrations at dinner. Much appreciated by the whole family!! Our daughter got sick during the stay and within 20 minutes we had a doctor in our room! Children are overall treated very well and welcome everywhere. There is a free buffet just for children every day around noon and childrens' entertainment during the whole day. One buffet restaurant and one à la carte within the area, bouth with great food. Cozy sunbeds available both at the private beach and by the pool. We can truly recommend the hotel for anyone that would like a relaxing time-out from the rest of the world.

Review 4：The hotel is perfectly located by a sandy beach and has a great pool for children and adults. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We felt like royals. Excellent food at "A la Carte" Restaurant. Free food for babies and children (special requests could be made). Plenty of activities and nanny service for children. Also, the hotel is not too big and crowded. At times it was very peacul and quiet even by the pool.

Review 5：for a hotel of this level I Expect spotless rooms, but we could see for instance that the room wasn't properly vacuumed. Also Staff was well trained and polite but perhaps should take no for an answer sometimes, when I want to carry a bag or a plate to my table. Location is nothing special, just by the beach and close to rethumno

Review 6：Very nice hotel, pretty room, very helpful and polite staff ( maybe too much sometimes!). Very nice food at restaurant and one of the nicest breakfasts we had. Having been to 3 other 5star hotels on crete this is definitely recommended

Review 7：The only downside is the entrance to the sea. Instead of sand there are stones, some of which happen to be way too big to be walking and swimming barefoot.

Having booked a regular room with garden view, it was a great surprise to be upgraded to a waterfront villa which happened to be the most luxurious type of accommodation possible at this hotel. Rooms are fully furnished with kettles and Nespresso coffee machines, the interior is done in blue and white colors. Caramel is a boutique hotel which can be felt at every moment during the stay. It is truly an experience you would never want to miss: from yummiest breakfasts with sparkling vine to nicest and most attentive staff ever. At breakfast pastries are an absolute must! Wifi worked perfectly everywhere even had connection under water in the pool:) Incredible pool area, which gives you different opportunities to sunbath. Try buffet dinner at the restaurant - lots of different options for every taste. There is an activity schedule such as Pilates and Aqua gym. At night there is live music by the pool/restaurants. There is kids' club as well to keep children entertained during the day. Incredible place to have your next getaway!
