Reviews for Ruthenium Hotel
Review 1:Parking nearby was not as described in write up. Free parking is available, but you'll need to walk 15-20 minutes.
Review 2:Location is good for the amenities in the city, not so good for a quiet night Near to restaurants and museums, Countryside nearby
Review 3:You need to be aware that checkin is 17.30 and the hotel is closed before then, so you can't dump your bags or anything. It was ok for us as we live in Toulouse and have a car, but could be very problematic for a family arriving my public transport.
Review 4:It was very modern, nice and clean. I wasn't expecting aircon, but I had asked for a cooler room if possible and got aircon. Don't know if it was a favour/upgrade, but it was appreciated. We managed to park very close by for 3-4 Euro, it's free at certain times I.E 12-14 but you can't pay for more than 3 Hours at a time. So we payed c. €2.20 for 2 hours on a Saturday at 14.00 and then paid again till about 17.00 it was then free until Monday morning.
Review 5:The only suggestion would be to include tea & coffee making facility in the room,
Review 6:Recently renovated providing comfortable, clean and very convenient location. Although not part of the service, the owner picked us up from the railway station because we were unable to get a taxi at the time of night. This was exceptionally generous and much appreciated.
Review 7:No sign extends out from building, just printed around the door, so it was hard to find. Arrived on Sunday night with not much else open to even get a map. Made a reservation the night before and arrived during normal check-in hours. but the hotel was locked, just a note on the door w/phone #. At first the person who answered phone acted like he didn't understand or speak English. It appeared to us there was no staff on-site until the next morning; good thing we didn't have an emergency. Faulty new shower design allowed for flooding of the bathroom floor. Only 2 towels and 2 bed pillows provided. On-line description indicated parking, but it was only on-street.
Review 8:Room recently refurbished, so very clean. Decent breakfast, very comfortable bed. We liked the design of toilet room separate from the shower.
Review 9:Hard to find, as has only a very small sign - but it's right next door to the much more visible Le Charleston (and we thought probably in the same ownership.) Seems to be a lock-up and leave operation, so there was no one to ask about anything, such as the Wifi code.
Review 10:Room small but obviously newly fitted-out and well-equipped, and very clean - and there's a lift.
Review 11:- The hotel is not insonorized (sound insulated) as claimed in Booking, despite the double glazed windows. We could hear everything from the street (each passing car) and from the hallway. - The Wi-fi signal is bad. Couldn't connect using any of our 2 latest-generation smartphones. However we were able to wi-fi using the laptop. Hotel provides also a LAN cable. - Small double bed (140cm width only). In hospitality industry, double beds should be a minimum of 160cm. So unless you're a couple of medium built, hugging each other when sleeping, you won't have a comfortable sleep! - the personnel and the absence of the notion of service or hospitality. Probably because of the lack of serious competition and the 'unjustifiably' high grades on booking, the hotel personnel/management became too arogant (not to say rude)
Review 12:The location, the room interior's design, the new furniture, the cleanliness.
Review 13:Surly receptionist on arrival who charged us 10 euros as a taxe de sejour on top of the 59 euro cost advertised. Terrible traffic noise.
Review 14:Clean, comfortable room that had obviously just been newly decorated and refurbished. Close to old town centre - restaurants, historic buildings etc.
Review 15:Very impersonal. Small Room. Couldn't get the aircon to run cool.
Review 16:location good
Review 17:Owner spoke no English which made it little difficult to converse
Review 18:Great breakfast & good value for money
Review 19:WiFi was a waste of time slow and connection kept dropping had to keep reconnecting.
Review 20:Location was great
Review 21:Air condition not working Staff could not speak English
Review 22:Nice and modern room
Review 23:Nothing
Review 24:Good location in centre of Rodez. Our room looked brand new and was spotless. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
Review 25:The room was compact, but was adequate for one night.
Review 26:Rodes is an interesting town with a spectacular cathedral. A quiet place to break our journey
Review 27:The room was a box room although it was ok for one night more than this it was too claustrophobic. The wifi was none existent in the room
Review 28:bare essentials as far as services were concerned. This is no luxury hotel, just a place to sleep!
Review 29:helpfulness of staff, cleanliness, location.
