Review 1：Too many little vases, candles, figurines, pillows and other small details that take place in an already small room. Railway and roadway are not far. Obertraun is a very quite place but in the morning you can wake up to a train or a truck, especially if you sleep with the windows open. The heating was too intense for our liking.

Review 2：Nice, cozy apartment with a fully equipped kintchen and a big light bathroom that contains everything you may need. There is a refrigirator in the hall where you can purchase cold drinks. The house is located rather far from the bus stop and railway station but the walk is very pleasant, and the view is great. The host was very helpful, and we absolutely loved the pets! Great place for quite vacation. We'll try to stay here our next time in Obertraun.

Review 3：Perfect stay, apartment is very clean and well decorated in details. Breakfast is great. Mr and Mrs Osborne are so thoughtful that we got everything we need. The restaurant they recommend is also excellent. We really enjoy our stay, thank you.

Review 4：Every single detail in the room is so impressive. Just like my home, so relaxing. The breakfast is so delicious, and with so many choices, just like brunch. Host is so nice & helpful! Not far away from Hallstatt, free rental bike, can ride there in 20 mins.

Review 5：The flat was very small, bur had everything it needed. It may be ok for younger people. However, the stairs going to the attic were difficult, and would have been so for people with younger kids. For us, very cute but a little claustrophobic.

Review 7：Warm water can be a little tricky, if you have any problems with warm water, Please don't hesitate to go down to Trevor, who will assist you with that. So if you don't have warm water don't panic just ask :)

Review 9：Room is very clean & decorated to make you feel like a "princess". You can feel that owners decorated the room with detail-minded & with all their hearts. Breakfast is impressive (include fruit). Small kitchen with fridge. (Not many hotels have fridge in Austria.). Once I booked the room via booking.com, owners will send me a welcome e-mail and give me full details about this room booking/environment. It's the first time that I received such kind of e-mail after room booking. It makes me feel very very warm & impressive. It's one of the room that I like the most during my trip. I feel very very impressive of this "home stay".

Review 10：Judith and Trevor are very friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for places to eat. Delicious breakfast with large portions. There's no air conditioning, which might be a factor for some people. Our sons enjoyed riding the bikes that are available to borrow.

Review 13：Cooler didn't work good , we stayed during summer June 2015 and was very hot inside room.later we turned off cooler and kept open all windows and it took few hours to cool down

Review 14：Nice location, people are friendly. its nearby town to Hallstatt. Taxi fares 10-15euro from Hallstatt to obertraun. Closer to icecave, need to walk to most of places. So wear comfortable shoes. Overall enjoyed the stay

Review 16：We liked it all... Had originally tried to book accommodations in Hallstatt, but waited to long and most of what we wanted was full. Much to our good fortune, we ended up in quieter Obertraun at Landhaus Osborne in a charming little apartment. Our very laid back hosts were charming; the accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed; breakfast was an enormous, beautifully presented spread that kept us full until mid-afternoon (so worth the extra cost); and we were able to borrow bicycles to get around. Also want to put in a plug for Obertraun. If you're coming to the area for a quiet get-away, for us at least, it was so much better to stay out of the really busy/touristy portion of Hallstatt, and instead, to pop over there when we wanted to (a quick and pleasant boat ride; or bike or drive), but to just enjoy the quiet beauty of Obertraun at the beginning and end of a day's exploring. Hearty recommendation all in all. (For what it's worth, we are a married couple and were traveling with our son, age 3. I think this is a good pick whatever your travel situation: single, couple, family...)

Review 21：The location is 15-20 min walk from train station which I think is a bit far if you walk with luggage. Otherwise, I love the place.

Review 22：This apartment is very clean, quiet (if you want to relax) and cosy. It is fully equip with kitchen utensils so you can do some light cooking. The owners, Trevor and Judith, are very helpful and welcoming. If you are planning to visit Five Fingers and Hallstatt, I would highly recommend you to stay this place than Hallstatt area because it is over crowded with tourist and it's not far from these 2 famous tourist attraction. Btw, they provide bicycle to guest for free!! Overall, I love my stay there and I will definitely visit this place again..

Lovely views of surrounding mountains from skylights Owners provide free DVD rental, books to read and a reasonably priced self-service drinks and food cabinet. Free bike rental was much appreciated and allowed further exploration of the area. This really is a fantastic place to stay at and I can highly recommend it. We hope to be back soon. Review 36：Absolutely perfect. Trevor and Judith are two marvellous owners, always there for every need we had during our stay, with accurate information and a big smile in their faces. The residency is magnificent. We stayed in the biggest room (3 adults) which was spacious, tidy, warm , with very nice comfortable furniture and state-of-the-art equipment.We had place to park our car as well as bikes, for any tiny trip towards Obetraun or any route to the woods. Obertraun is really close to everything (Hallstat, ski cable car etc.) an Landhaus osborne is in a quite easy to find location.

This cozy place made us feel like we are in our own lovely home! The only thing might be a problem is that we are 158 cm height and felt the bicycle too high to ride. (However, It's free to ride. Review 40：First of all, this house is really clean and cute. The decoration is really nice and it can feel us the owner of this house has warm heart. And the location seems to be a bit far from the center but it's not a problem. The breakfast was also good.

Review 42：We loved the Staff. My husband and I were traveling from Budapest and were almost 4 hours delayed by traffic due to road closures and terrible traffic jams. The staff left us a personal note and a code to get into the house as well as instructions for breakfast and parking. Our room was great and full of wonderful unique decorations that felt like home. Breakfast was wonderful and they even had a baby chair and a smiley-face cup for our little girl :) what a treat! Friendly neighbors up the road directed us to the house when we arrived in town after dark at 9PM. Great experience!!

Review 65：Wonderful home hotel - We have stayed a lot of 5 stars hotels, but this home hotel lets us feel much more comfortable than any 5 star hotel. Of course, have our car, so we do not need to consider the transportation problem.

Review 66：I only have suggestions. There were a bit too many objects scaterred in the apartment to make you feel at home. A coffee pot could be added (we drink Turkish coffee, not filter coffee). Nothing to really complain about. A place I recommend.

Review 72：For the people looking to live closer to the lake / closer to the township the location may be a bit off. Another small snag is that as the rooms are so thoughtfully furnished with everything you may need, leaves little space to move around or even to plonk your luggage.

Review 73：The best thing about this place is definitely the hosts and their hospitality. They make every effort to make your experience feel like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everything that you may happen to need during your stay is already there. There is parking on the grounds and location is bit secluded and away from the lake but beautiful. Traun river flows close by and offers a nice chance to cycle or a walk along the river. Free bike hire from the hosts itself is a big plus.

Their home is within 1.5 km of Halstatt but outside the bustle of town. We loved it and would consider going back for a more extended stay!

I think u should change your information in the website that theroom is for 2 person(not 2-3) and just add the condition for extra bedin the detail below. So people wont be misundersyanding.

Very impressive in-room breakfast with all selection u choose from the list. U have to prepare all the food u need if u want to cook before u go there, there is no shop nearby, at least 8 mins drive. Free bike to use. Very stable and fast wifi in room. Free parking in front of the house. Only 15mins drive to ski. Nice view from the baconly at 1/F. I'll definitely come back or recommend it to friends if visiting Hallstatt.

Review 85：We stayed over Christmas in one of the apartments. We had a stunning view of the mountains from our room. The apartment itself was beautifully warm and cosy and absoloutely spotless. Trevor and Judith are the loveliest hosts, they are so friendly and helpful and really nice people. We both loved our stay here, it was magical and a perfect place to get away from it all.
