Review 1：There was a function on and all you could hear was the bass booming through the floor (but it was a weekend stay)

Review 8：Met by Daniel who left me standing in restaurant for several minutes while he found paperwork. Wait staff were passing non stop with both full and empty plates, dangerous! Took me to room and just left me there, quite a rude person. Room dark and only one of the two lights worked (thank you Taylor). The kettle had to go floor to boil as it would not reach socket from table.Dangerous!! It was no more than a closet and next morning I went to book out, asked why, I was offered a different room. Much better but needed a good clean.black units should up dust. I did book out the next day as I was totally disappointed with staff and treatment. I have to save there were two young men who were very good. And I was about to write about having a refund on the cost of the room especially as I didn't even stay for the breakfast that was inclusive. I would not recommend this hotel.

Review 18：Very noisy from very early with fire doors banging/slamming as people exit room's areas. Seemed to be workmen guests leaving early from around 4am to 7.30am , we stayed three nights and didn't get good/whole nights sleep once. This really ruined our stay as everything else was fantastic. Door closures really need slowing down or some soft strips put along inside of the frame. Surfaces/shelves required in bathroom, had to put all toiletries/toothbrushes/towels etc on the floor !!
Review 19：Nice hotel, great location and base for sightseeing and getting into town. Staff were all fantastic, friendly and helpful. Room was huge and well equipped with desk, ironing facilities, hair-drier , kettle and tv etc . Huge walk in wet room shower. Nice food very reasonably priced, restaurant was busy with both guests and visitors all the time. Good children's playroom off restaurant too. Peeked into the conference/function areas which looked fantastic for a party/wedding.

Review 21：Surely a 4 slice toaster is totally inadequate for such a busy restaurant and a free for all with handling the bread. At one point there were 6 adults and 2 children all round waiting for toast and tea. Not very hygenic. One waitress was run ragged trying to keep everyone happy - she did her best.

Review 57：My wife booked this hotel because they said there was a bath in the room. Unfortunately it was a shower. She would not have booked this if she would have known. We were offered a free breakfast but didn't take it up as we didn't want to look as if we had complained to get a freebie. One other issue was that there was a wedding and they were very noisy going back to their rooms in the early hours. This included an argument in the corridor involving several individuals.

The only objection is that the television was wall mounted on the side wall which made viewing from the bed a bit difficult. The bathroom had a new, large shower cubicle and a separate bathtub, but it would be truly great if it had a shelf for the toiletries.
