Reviews for Villa Koruna

Review 1:Room felt cramped but we didn't spend much time there. Sloped ceiling had us ducking but overall it was fine.

Review 2:Great location for walking the wall. Just a few steps away for the entrance. Right by the water. Two others restaurants right around the corner.

Review 3:Would have liked kettle in room.

Review 4:Very comfortable lots of hot water and good water pressure.Room very clean and comfortable.Staff very helpful and friendly.

Review 5:We loved staying in this small, family run hotel. They made us feel very welcome and their restaurant is one of the best in town. It's location is perfect for exploring Ston and Mali Ston as it is right beside the entrance to the Ston wall. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and helped us to print our bus tickets and to organise a taxi.

Review 6:reception will open 7 am and close 23.00pm ( so if you arrive between 23.00pm and 7am morning, you have to contact tem first to agree how to receive the hotel key and room key - if you wana move to Dubrovnik itself you need a car - Bathroom small but clean and practical ( just the bed is not very comfortable and i suggest a change of bed to the hotel owner)

Review 7:nice hotel ( Boutique) , ok room, location in Mali Ston (1 hr and 15 min from Dubrovnik airport by taxi around 800 Kuna) and a walk of 15 minutes to STON ( the town) , restaurant and sea food is very good, hospitality of staff and owner are good, polite people and helpful.

Review 8:Nothing worth mentioning. If you're going expecting 5 star service, don't. Imagine staying at your friend's mother's place who is a great cook and serves you local food, wine and spirits.

Review 9:Amazing food! The resturaunt off the hotel has a great lunch. I recommend the oysters, octopus salad, and the home made cheese; fantastic.

Review 10:Dirty fridge Old shower doors that don't close well and get all the floor wet Bed covers and towels were as terse as they could get, really uncomfortable The room's curtain did not close properly (half the window still visible), hence sunlight would hit your eyes as soon as the sun comes out The lamps were hanging downsides as if they were about to fall down

Review 11:No elevator and no telephon in room. Every time when we nedded something from the front desk we had to run up and down the staircase. No frontdesk in night. I asked them what happens if we unexpectedly need a doctor in the night. They asked each other what is the telephone of the areal emergency and wrote it on a small piece of paper. The room was very small and gloomy.

Review 12:The waterfront and the wall.

Review 13:location is nice, peaceful excellent food

Review 14:Good location, great food, friendly staff, quiet room.

Review 15:Breakfazt not included

Review 16:Great location in quiet village

Review 17:Bathroom had some shower issues.

Review 18:Had a great location right on the water

Review 19:Lousy maintenance. Shower broken. Expensive.

Review 20:Nice location. Excellent breakfast. Excellent reception.

Review 21:The rubber bathmats in the shower and on bathroom floor ( just outside the shower) smelled..I believe due to the rubber. Otherwise the shower/bath area was very clean. Definitely lose the mats . towels were rather threadbare but clean. Wine glasses were on the bath shelf to use for water.. a bit odd and and fraught with breakage potential. Very poor light in our room with a dim bulb. Thank goodness I had a miner's light to read. My brother's room. on the other hand was brighter and had much better light.

Review 22:The location is excellent and a short walk to Ston (15 min) Definitely make the effort to walk up to the wall/fort Beds were comfortable. We asked and immediately received extra pillows. The dining room waitress and overall English speaking gal for the Hotel is delightful and we had a wonderful chat with her. I am not sure if she is a part of the family or not. We later received complimentary bags of the local salt, fruit and an after dinner liquer/ Our dinner was very good, but do not think the Oysters are worthy of all the hoopla.

Review 23:Room was small and dated. Room was not suited for 3 adults (couple plus adult child). Wifi was not accessible from room.

Review 24:Good location. Air conditioned.

Review 25:N/A

Review 26:Location and view

Review 27:Wifi did not work at all. Fittings in bathroom falling off the wall. Toilet not properly secured.

Review 28:Nice welcome. Good air conditioning.

Review 29:Friendly atmophere
