Review 1：The only remark I have to do is that the wifi did not reach our room. It works perfectly in the common areas.

Review 2：I only have good things to comment about this hotel. -It is located a bit separated from the busy villages but is in the middle of the island, so if you want to drive around the island is perfect. -Quite area and if you need some night life Glyfada is close by. -Personal of the hotel very friendly and always willing to help. -Fantastic swimming pool, decent beach at walk distance. In general, it was a placer to be there and if I will recommend it to everyone.

Review 4：Hospitality of Kostas, Vasilis and girls is amazing. Food is excellent, you don't need to go to fancy restaurants, it is very delicious and tasty, fish is fresh, oven baked feta something you want to eat every day. Location superb, since when you are on island like Corfu, you have to have car and from this point everything is within 30min by drive. Also, it is very quiet and peaceful, the proper vacation is 100% guaranteed. View from the balcony - for the magazines.

Review 5：Ermones is ideally located in the middle of west cost. you can go everywhere quickly. Ermones is a small quiet village. Elena hotel is a really beautiful hotel. Big and nice swimming pool, wonderful garden with flowers and trees, at around 200 meters to the sea. The best: the team !!! Kostas, Fani and Vassilis make all their possible for us. Great cooking (thanks Kostas !!!), bedroom really quiet: you never hear your neighbours. A trip and a team we will never forget. Come again as soon as possible !

Review 6：-The beach of Ermones village is not the best beach on the island;) However, Ermones village itself is situated perfectly on the island, close to nice beaches, the capital, etc. -WiFi was not that fast, but hey, who needs internet in Paradise? ;)

Review 7：-Ermones is close to Corfu town. -Ermones is close to some of the nicest beaches - Liapades, Paradise beach, etc; also close to the Corfu golf club. -A great family hotel with a very polite host - Kostas - the owner of the place. -Kostas cooks the best durado and seabass fish on the island :) -Incredible service! Everybody was so polite. They do not do it just for the money, they are simply good people.

Review 8：Verry helpful staff. Costas and his staff are verry friendly. Very clean room. Breakfast is varied and fresh. Wonderful views from the terrace of the bay of Ermones.

Review 9：Really bad hospitality from the start. The owner son come screaming bad words in Greece and in English. You have to ask for cleaning the room, because otherwise they don't do it. Terrible WiFi it connects but doesn't work almost all of the time. The TV and safety safe were missing and horse riding, golf activities were not included in this hotel, they were activities offered by near hotels. Bees will accompany your breakfast. Please if considered to go there take lot of money with you, because the owner doesn't think anything else then ways to get it.

Review 11：Costas and his staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating - they made the whole stay so enjoyable. The pool was amazing! Really big and we had it to ourselves most of the time.

Review 12：The owner is rude and not available. One day our friend's child was bit by a bee (garden toy were full of honeycombs) and was crying. Owner started to shout against us sending us away and saying we could have gone away (only when back home we found out that they had charged our bill on the credit card the first day without telling us). The nice terrace is not usable for breakfast due to tens of bees everywhere. Breakfast is poor. Our bathroom was old, rust on pipes of sink and bath, all loosing water or not fixed. The bath outcome was always blocked and the answer was it was ok and it was our fault beacause of hairs of guests: what about cleaning!?!?!?!?!? Bathroom has no air exchange: at our suggestion for the future he replied it was not our business ... But it was really a problem for smell and humidity. The nice garden has some corners like horror cemetery, like the BMW scrapped or the free bikes covered by nettles and weeds.

Review 13：The nice view from the room balcony. The position on the hill over a nice bay, even if it is necessary to drive at least for 30-45 minutes if you want to visit other beaches of Corfu. Ermones beach could not justify to stay only there. Good swimming pool and garden.

Review 14：Due to the natural environment, there were daily incursions by wasps, that were attracted to the breakfast table. Activity by mosquitoes at night were also a source of discomfort. Be good scouts and be prepared!

Review 15：The location is picturesque, with dramatic sunsets, that are enhanced by the surrounding coastline. Lounging by the swimming pool in brilliant sunshine was fantastic. Numerous hikes around the surrounding area revealed many contrasts and objects of interest. The delightful walks to the top of the nearby mountain and along the coastal path showed beautiful vistas, scenery and a variety of exotic butterflies. The hospitality provided by the owner and his son was excellent. The cuisine, delicious and freshly prepared, some of the ingredients being derived from the hotel vegetable garden. All of the above contributed to a peaceful and delightful vacation.

Review 16：The smell of the resort at ermones was horrible. A terrible sewerage smell and brown in the beach water. The food at the hotel was very poor and there was only 2 choices for eating in the area which were only ok. I like quiet resorts but even this was too quiet for me. I felt like I was in a fish bowl as the shape of the resort meant you were looking in each others rooms. No where to go for a nice walk.

Review 17：The view from the hotel and the pool were excellent. The yoghurt at breakfast (but only the yoghurt). The staff tried to please. I think this hotel was one of the better options but I did not like the resort of Ermones.

Review 21：Me and my family have spent two weeks at hotel Elena and our stay has been perfect. The apartment was big, clean and with a beautiful view. The food was awesome all the nights. The hotel is in good conditions and the swimming pool is big and tidy. Lastly, the main plus of the hotel is the hospitality and availability of kostas, vasillis and their nice team.thanks again for the beautiful holiday!

Review 22：Slow WiFi in the room. The rooms are comfortable, yet having very simple decoration.

Review 23：Great view to the sea from the room and from the Hotel terrace. The hotel is a family business, the owner and his son very are involved in daily activities which gives a very warm, authentic and familiar feeling when staying at this hotel. The pool was larger and deeper that we imagined when watching the pictures. Very close to Ermones Bay, two restaurants down on the beach for dinner, yet we strongly recommend to try also the dishes from the hotel- just ask the owner what's on the menu and he will gladly show you what's in the fridge :). The hotel is positioned in the middle of the island, easy to access by car other interesting places: must go to Glyfada and Pelekas - large sandy beaches with clear water (5-7 km away), Paleokastritsa beach (20 km away) from were you can rent a boat and reach lovely empty beaches and see great landscapes. Corfu town is 17 km away.

Review 24：The wi-fi was a bit sluggish...but then again, on vacation one should perhaps stay disconnected to enjoy the most relaxation! ;)

Review 25：Hotel Elena has a very nice setting in Ermones close to the beach and some really good restaurants as well. The pool area is very nice and relaxing with a great view overlooking the sea. Convenient parking facilities and the owner and his son are very friendly and eager to make the guests feel at home. The dinner was excellent however the variation of the breakfast buffé could have been somewhat greater. Ermones is a great place to stay to avoid tourist crowds and yet it is only a short drive to other places of interest. We'll definitely come back!

Make sure you bring euros while you in corfu, Ermones is only a touristic place doesn't have many places for shopping, you need to take a taxy to go other places in the island.

Review 57：The hotel, with its excellent view, large swimming pool and strategic location, is a bargain as it is, but it was Kostas and his staff who made our stay a memorable personal experience. It's everything you've ever heard about Greek hospitality, and on top of it all Kostas prepares better food than any of the midrange tavernas we've visited.

Review 60：It is very welcoming and an enchanting place to stay (see same review on trip advisor) Sitting watching beautiful sunsets with a fantastic seaview from the bedroom balconies or the outside restaurant eating area, this hotel epitomises what visiting the Greek Islands is about. It has a prime position in Ermones with a short stroll – 5 mins at snail’s pace – to the beach. A warm and personal welcome makes you feel that the father and son partnership goes that extra mile. As a female traveller, on this occasion travelling on my own, I always felt safe here. There were a couple of babies with their families staying and these were especially fussed over! Those seeking a quieter holiday with an authentic Greek flavour will love this hotel although there are possibly too many steps for those with serious mobility problems to thoroughly enjoy all the facilities. The suppers are varied and tasty. The breakfast is nutritious, continental (Greek) in style with eggs, meat, cheese, cereals. In a 3 star hotel, it is good to find the air conditioning and the fridge included in the room rate. The free wi-fi is also useful. The hotel is very clean and attractive and the larger than to be expected pool is kept in pristine condition. The hotel and gardens are well tended and decorated and I heard several visitors passing by the hotel (and some staying in the hotel!) commenting on how pretty the Elena is. There are shaded and sunny areas to sit and eat or relax and the regenerative powers of peace and tranquillity worked wonders for me and visibly for others there at the same time. Ask to try the home -made wine. This is a Greek 3 star hotel, but its location and hosts earn it an extra special one from me!
