Reviews for Old Vicarage Cottage
Review 1:Attic room up two flights of very very narrow stairs, trouble getting any hot water. In lovely country side but very remote.
Review 2:Hospitality, friendly owners
Review 3:Doors don't block noise from other rooms. Not negative, but to be considered: Steep, narrow flight of stairs.
Review 4:Owners Terry and Kim are very polite and nice. Breakfast (English: sausages, eggs, bacon, toast, tea and coffee, cereals. Plenty of it, freshly made) Clean room Rather big bathroom Four rooms (England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, I guess)
Review 5:nothing
Review 6:We loved everything about our stay, wish it had been longer. The village location and views were great and having a pub over the road that did very good evening meals was very handy.Owners were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was really good.

Review 10:the tea and coffee facilities in the room weren't up to much. The milk was out of date giving it an odd taste.
Review 11:it was well presented and the food cooked fresh to order. Pleasantly greeted and made to feel welcome
Review 12:Very friendly staff .Very pet friendly. Told us places to visit that you wouldn't really know about.Terry even lent me maps to get their. Couldn't ask for more would defiantly staying again in the future
Review 13:Very cold in our room one night, no blankets until asked for. There was a heater but no central heating - unsure whether a heater is allowed in a B&B for safety reasons. Door to room half glass, not obscured, but had a curtain over. ? safe again, as thin glass and on third floor. Light on landing showed through curtain. No sink in shower room, in bedroom. Room up steep stairs, not suitable for disabled. Signal poor for WIFI.
Review 14:The breakfast was good. Friendly host.
Review 15:unfortunately the people in the room opposite ours, came back from the pub at 22:30 and decided to argue scream and shout for the next three hours. I assumed the owner must have heard the noise but didn't do anything. We packed and left at 01:30
Review 16:The gentleman looking after us during our stay was very helpful. Bedroom was lovely, very comfortable and with an amazing view. Food in the morning was fantastic. Nothing to fault
Review 17:Nothing really. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
Review 18:Warm welcome. Terry had thought of everything we would need (including for the dog). Room very quiet & pleasant, shower good. Breakfast served at time we chose, most generous portions and no trouble catering for special dairy & meat-free diet. Peaceful location and Terry directed us to a good local walk from the guest-house.
Review 19:Nothing - all good .
Review 20:View from the room, the breakfast, the location, the big fluffy proper sized bath towels, the TV reception(Satellite), the owners and the fantastic location.
Review 21:2 flights of very steep stairs with no hand rail on lower flight not dog friendly. I had nothing to hold onto on 2 occasions when my large dog pulled going down. Other minor niggles which are of a personal basis and may not bother any other guests.
Review 22:Pet friendliness, food, location.
