Reviews for Hotel du Midi - Logis International
Review 1:Close to 'everything' in Rodez; nice staff, simple but yet delicious breakfast; generous treatment of a handicapped person in the breakfast room...
Review 2:Difficult parking situation, very spartan room. Staff overburdened at various times of the day and couldn't keep up with needs of all guests.
Review 3:Great shower! Good croissants at breakfast. Great location on the square in front of the cathedral.
Review 4:Very basic, bathroom small. Not a "comfort" room by any standards but functional. Slight underlying smell of old cigarette smoke.
Review 5:Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Very well placed and calm.
Review 6:Booked a double room but was initially given a triple room. Not clear if this is a Booking.com problem or the hotels
Review 7:Had an issue with our room that was rectified quickly and pleasantly
Review 8:Great location in front of the cathedral. Staff are good and the room is nice and clean.
Review 9:The double Comfort room at 72€ plus 18€ for breakfast makes it a tad too expensive for the standard. The breakfast is just ok for the price. As there is no air-co or fan, we had to leave the window open and got awaken twice during the night by loud people from the street.
Review 10:Very disappointed with the upgrade it didn't seem as nice as the picture which was shown on Booking.com. It was a small room at the back overlooking a roof. Didn't like the parking arrangements, but realised that this was common practice.
Review 11:Close to the city centre. Found the Staff a little rude initially but in the end were really nice people.
Review 12:Room at front quite noisy, busy traffic right beside traffic lights. Room & bathroom rather dated.
Review 13:Convenient stop en route to Cote d'Azur. Right in centre of town, lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.
Review 14:The room was too warm when we arrived and the traffic noise with the window open wasn't a good option to cool the room and sleep. We were on the middle floor. People passed the room during the night and people were up early in the morning and we heard everything.
Review 15:The friendly welcome was wonderful. We have 2 very quite, clean dogs and they were very welcome. Parking was directly below the hotel near the lift. The room was clean and welcoming.
Review 16:No handwashing facilities in toilet which was separate from the bathroom.
Review 17:Last night of a seven day drive home from Italy. We stayed in Rodez wanting to visit the cathedral. Hotel ideally placed for this. A warm welcome and a wonderful breakfast.
Review 18:I didn't like that the toilet was in a separate space (really a kind of closet) far away from the bathroom and sink.
Review 19:Excellent location right on the square and close to restaurants.
Review 20:Possibly a better choice for the evening meal, for those not wedded to regional dishes would be one of the nearby but more conventional restaurants.
Review 21:We travell extensively in the South of France in connection with our business. This hotel is well located in the historic centre of Rodez
Review 22:Noting
Review 23:Had a wonderful few days in the beautiful city of Rodez. The hotel could not have been in a better location. It is right in the centre of the city opposite the Cathederal. It is very easy to get around sightseeing on foot . Staff and food were excellent. My wife and I would definitely book this hotel again if we were returning to Rodez
Review 24:Lovely central location. We were booked into one of their best rooms, double comfort room with shower, very good choice. Very good size and a view of the cathedral. The shower was fantastic. We enjoyed a meal in the hotel in the evening and the breakfast the following morning was of a good quality. We would definately stay here again if we were in Rodez.
Review 25:En suite was a bit small but worked.
Review 26:A warm welcome for everyone. Very pleasant, friendly, helpfull staff. Limited parking but we had space on a Saturday evening. Town centre location with a view of the Cathedral from our rooom. standard 'Logis' rooms but comfortable, clean with en suite and double glazing and shutters to keep out the traffic noise and for privacy. We had a front room but the city is so quiet at night that we slept well with the window open. There is a good value restaurant in the hotel but we went out as there are many local restaurants. Good standard breakfast. All in all an excellent place for an overnight stay.
Review 27:Our room was a real disappointment - on the small side and smelly. The bathroom had no ventilation, either window or extractor fan. Sheets and blankets rather than a duvet - one had a burn hole in it ! Rodez is an attractive town, with lots of shops - but the restaurant we chose served the worst pizza I think we have ever had in France ! Other customers seemed not to like their food either.
Review 28:Our satnav took us right to the parking area ! Good access to the hotel from there, straight in to the lift. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly. We decided not to eat in the hotel, and this might have been a mistake.
Review 29:The fixing for the shower head was broken, so had to be hand held. We were woken very early in the morning by the sound of some machinery (street cleaners?) nearby. It was hot and, as there was no air conditioning, we had left the windows open. It did enable us to get an early start to our onward journey though!
Review 30:The hotel was right opposite the cathedral so very handy for sightseeing and for bars and restaurants. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable.
Review 31:That the rack rate for the hotel was 2 euros cheaper than the cheapestprice that bookings.com charged me.
Review 32:The hotel offered excellent value for the price and type of hotel itwas. The manager was extremely efficient, friendly and helpful.
Review 33:Location. Lack of parking. Atmosphere.
Review 34:We did not stay in this hotel.
Review 35:The location was excellent, the breakfast was good and the staff very friendly.
Review 36:Location in town centre, easy to find, convenient parking.
Review 37:Ras ras Ras
Review 38:Poor sleep as stuffy room but if windows open city noises motorbikes keep you awake.needs a/cond. to fix problem.

Review 42:The bath and friendly service.
Review 43:Problem finding parking place, but I found one in the end which was not expensive.
Review 44:Staff quite friendly, room comfortable, also very good breakfast
Review 45:No net curtains, lighting, creaky floorboards, no late night desk service
Review 46:Location right by the cathdral, breakfast,
Review 47:Great location, friendly family run hotel, simple, tasty, authentic French cuisine.
Review 48:The noise from the street in the front bedrooms. No air conditioning.
Review 49:The location, the restaurant.
Review 50:No Air Con. No Mirrors in Bedroom. Noisy location. Generally in need of updating.
Review 51:Good food accept for breakfast.
Review 52:No air-conditioning on a baking hot night. Unable to open window due to street noise.
Review 53:Very friendly and welcoming. Easy parking facilities. Perfect location to visit centre of Rodez.
Review 54:Hotel restaurant closed on Sunday along with every other restaurant in the town. Also bear in mind that most shops are closed on Monday too. Long walk to the train station, 2k at least.
Review 55:Basic clean hotel, comfortable small bedroom. Good value for money and very central to the old town. Staff were friendly.
Review 56:The size, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms did not match the websitephotos, as a result we felt they were over priced compared to otherhotels we stayed in on this trip.
Review 57:The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The entrance was stylish andthe breakfast good value.
Review 58:The restaurant menu was limited. In so saying the food we ate was excellent.
Review 59:The hotel is ideally located in the town centre. It has a small parking area. The staff in the restaurant where really wonderful.
Review 60:Long climb up the hill from the railway station. Front of the hotel rooms were noisy. Nowhere to hang towels or washing.
Review 61:Good central location, once you were there!
Review 62:Room could have used air conditioning, updating and more electrical sockets.
Review 63:The beds were amazing and the pillow remarkable comfortable. The breakfasts were also very good with a decent selection to choose from. The hostess was lovely, and very helpful although she didn't speak any English. Hotel was very secure, requiring passcode entry.
Review 64:The room we were shown at first was disappointing - small, dark, no view- but they were able to give us a much nicer room when we asked.
Review 65:The central location and helpful staff. Small and therefore friendly.
Review 66:The Rooms were a bit cramped but the price was good so no complaints.
Review 67:Very helpful Manager and centrally located opposite the Main Cathedral. Easy access from the highway.
Review 68:That the road infront of the hotel was being dug up making it difficultto access the hotel - a temporary condition of course.
Review 69:The front desk staff were helpful with directing us to interestingsights/ walks and english was spoken by some. Our limited french wassufficient in all other situations. There is a working lift!
Review 70:The food was terrible and the staff when told just accepted it was rubbish and did not offer to change or a reduction in price. Parking advertised was limited only 14 places when double parked and the keys had to be left at reception( Not very secure)
Review 71:The hotel was centrally situated.
Review 72:The location was fantastic! The hotel is within sight of the Cathederal and very close to shops, restaurants and the Market. We ate in the hotel on the night we stayed and the meal for €21 was excellent. The desserts were very large. I would recommend this hotel highly.
Review 73:The room we had was slightly dated and would have benefited from air conditioning.
Review 74:The Hotel du Midi has an excellent central location and was very easy to find. Car parking was available at the hotel for a small charge. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant and found good food at a reasonable price.
Review 75:The bathroom could do with some updating. Very basic decor.
Review 76:Great location, parking for only €5, free wifi, lovely staff.Inexpensive. It's very basic and mostly very clean (very clean sheetsetc) - but it does well as a place to stay for a night to see rodez andbe close to the airport for an early flight.
Review 77:no air cond outdated bathroom, cigarette burn on bed couver
Review 78:we enjoy the frienliness of the staff, and the central location,we also found the rooms very clean.
Review 79:Highly recommend this hotel - can't fault it ! We stayed in an apartment with our 2 sons (11 & 13) which was very clean and comfortable. It was newly re-furbished with a fully fitted kitchen which was really handy if you don't fancy eating out every night. The location was good with a view of the main square from the balcony, but still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. Beds were very comfortable (One room with a double ,the other with 2 singles).
Review 80:Only two things we found inconvenient - the extractor fans didn't workin the en-suite bathroom and shower room, and the rooms really could dowith air conditioning to help with the 30+ degrees of heat in August.
Review 81:Excellent location on the town square, friendly staff, great value formoney, close to shops and restaurants. Only 9 kilometers from Rodezairport and a great place to base yourself for touring the Aveyronregion with it's beautiful villages and countryside.
Review 82:No air conditioning in the bedroom. They had it in the restaurant.
Review 83:Easy to find opposite the Cathedral, reasonable price with restuarantwhich had good food where all tables were full and many French familieseating there, which is always a good sign.Ensuite shower facilities very good with very modern shower.
Review 84:A little disappointed in the breakfast. Found the hotel easily but one way system made it a little awkward to get to.
Review 85:Very nice hotel. Staff friendly and efficient. Room was clean and surprisingly spacious. Bedroom and bathroom very stylish. Very central. View of Cathedral from bedroom window. No air conditioning so slept with window open. Traffic noise was not a problem. Bar on corner provided us with an extremely good evening meal. Charge for onsite parking (5 Euro). Would stay again.
Review 86:We stayed in the 2-bed apartment and it was very comfortable, spotless and functional. The hotel is located right in the city centre accessable to all the sights and retail.
Review 87:Parking, one car parks behind another, could be a real problem if you are behind and need to leave early
Review 88:The staff were really nice. Rooms ae are old but spotless. Free WiFi
