Reviews for Ffarm Country House
Review 1:Nothing, I literally have nothing bad to say.
Review 2:Both owners were friendly, helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was out of this world and the service received and the room perfectly matched the style of the property. I will 100% be staying again. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are absolutely stunning, the location is prefect for a weekend retreat!
Review 3:I couldn't find anything to dislike. It was a superb stay.
Review 4:This was a 3 night stay to celebrate our anniversary. Stewart & Susan are fantastic hosts and always have time for you. Stewart is also an excellent cook. There was everything you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel. Robes, slippers, iron, safe, WiFi, plenty of hanging space, tea/coffee making facilities, Freeview TV, huge room and huge bathroom. Breakfast is wonderful and sets you up for the day. There is a trust bar that has a wide variety of drinks for your enjoyment. There is plenty of free parking. It is ideal to explore the North Wales countryside and coastal towns. I highly recommend FFarm Country House and especially the Venice room.
Review 5:I received a very friendly welcome from the owners. The (gluten free) breakfast was excellent. The room was beautifully clean and very comfortable with all the normal facilities together with a DVD player and library of DVDs. The house itself is beautiful and the setting is very quiet.
Review 6:Susan and Stewart are friendly people who take pride in their property and service. A quiet location for such an old building with lovely furniture and fittings. Full breakfast was fantastic using local produce.
Review 7:Excellent in every way, our hosts could not be nicer. Fantastic room which had been upgraded free of charge. The home cooked evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Will defiantly be staying again.
Review 8:Food was delicious. The owners, although they state they are not professional chefs, could have fooled me. Served promptly and each dish was presented beautifully.
Review 9:Nothing really but be aware the mobile phone reception in the area is poor (though maybe that's a plus point - depends on your point of view).
Review 10:We were made to feel very welcome by the excellent hosts. Our room was excellent, with a great bathroom and a lovely view. The breakfast was perfect and the evening meal of the highest standard (despite their modesty). Highly recommended.
Review 11:A lovely building; spotless. Superb service; a good breakfast. And if you stay in the room with the travel posters from Peru, you have Paddington Bear to keep you company too.
Review 12:Both of our children fell over on the bathroom floor which gets VERY slippy when wet.
Review 13:The hosts were wonderful, the hotel was beautifl and clean, and set in very tranquil surroundings and is ideally located for easy access to the coast and Snowdonia.
Review 14:Curious as to why they choose not to do meals on the same night the local pub was shut, as this is only place to eat.....maybe should consider a different night. Although a lovely place its just bordering on expensive as have stayed in equally as good for up to 30% less.
Review 15:Lovely room, nice people.
Review 16:Possibly a little overpriced for the style of hotel, having said that we would probably stay again next time we use the Holyhead ferry.
Review 17:Friendly welcome and made to feel at home. Lovely bedroom (Coral) with lots of personal touches. Within easy reach of Holyhead ferry for a midday crossing to Dublin.
Review 18:There is nothing not to like!
Review 19:A lovely property in immaculate condition. Mr room was spotless and they had thought of every need. I will definitely stay again when in the area. Plenty of parking, excellent breakfast.
Review 20:Knew that had to book for dinner but hadn't realised that menu choices had to be pre-ordered. However, hosts booked us a table at a nearby village pub which proved to be excellent.
Review 21:Beautiful house in a quiet location. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Bathrobes and slippers are a nice touch. Hosts are attentive, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic - vegetarian option for cooked breakfast couldn't be bettered.
Review 22:Wonderful hosts and a magnificent house.Had Evening meal on the Friday night which was fantastic and I strongly recommend eating in not going to a pub.The stay was just perfect.
Review 23:Our hosts have created a warm and inviting hotel. It was obvious how much care and thought had gone into every aspect of how this hotel runs. I initially booked this hotel for its beautiful architecture but what would make me go back would be the amazing service and friendliness of the owners. An ideal location for anyone interested in the area or just for a relaxing visit.
Review 24:Nothing!
Review 25:Susan and Stewart were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent especially the scrambled egg all cooked to order. The variety of fresh fruit also enjoyable. The evening meals when provided were also excellent. The room was comfortable with bottled water provided every day. The robes were a nice touch.
Review 26:Absolutely nothing!
Review 27:The setting and facility are awesome! The appointments in our room were impeccable as were the ones in the common rooms. Susan and Stewart are the idea ideal hosts - personal yet professional. The breakfasts were of the highest quality. Ffarm Country House was the best experience in our six-week tour of the UK.
Review 28:The whole experience was exemplary! We ate in the restaurant for dinner, as well as breakfast, which again exceeded all expectations. Can not find any faults at all. We'll be back.
Review 29:Nothing at all
Review 30:We were greeted at the front door by Stewart & Susan and were made to feel at home. Room was spacious, king sized bed, bathroom had all you could wish for. Breakfast cooked to order and served with a smile by our hosts. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when in the area,
Review 31:Perfect arrangements, as requested, for a very special wedding anniversary. Susan and Stewart were friendly, and attentive hosts for whom nothing seemed too much trouble.
Review 32:Worth checking what night you're going and if they serve food, as other places to eat and drink are a taxi ride away or a short drive.
Review 33:The location was beautiful, owners are lovely and really welcoming. Very personal feeling. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
Review 34:Our only criticism would be that special teas would have been great in the room.
Review 35:Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent and the scenery was amazing.
Review 36:Unfortunately food was not being served when we stayed (my own fault for not reading the small print), owner very helpful though in recommending where to go. Will definitely stay there again to see if their evening meals are as good as their breakfasts.
Review 37:Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Nice and quiet. Very helpful and polite owners.
Review 38:Not a bad experience but a shame that we couldn't see any of the beautiful views from the room.
Review 39:We had a lovely room which was ideal for my wife, ground floor, with wet room and close to dinning room. Ideal for a disabled person. We had a pleasant seat at breakfast looking into the garden with the birds. Evening meal was very enjoyable, all served by a very pleasant and efficient hosts.
Review 40:We had a wifi router in our room but it was still a bit slow. We were just trying to use safari to browse the Internet but it took a long time to load.
Review 41:We liked the house and room. Everything was very clean and tidy. It was very interesting to see all the hosts' photos on the wall!
Review 42:Not within their control EE mobile had poor signal in most of North Wales
Review 43:Fabulous room, fabulous food , wonderful management and in great countryside Whilst it might be a little more expensive for the best room it was worth it and the evening meals were superb and fantastic value The perfect venue to pop the question
Review 44:Nothing really! Only thing to keep in mind is lots of stairs if you are on the second floor.
Review 45:The breakfast was excellent and Susan & Stewart were warm and welcoming. The beds were really comfy and the overall service was great. It was like staying in a lovely hotel as the beds were made and rooms tidied up everyday. Also the cookies in the room was a nice touch to have with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. We also really appreciated the comfy bathrobes and slippers provided in the room. To cut a long story short, we had a fabulous time!!!

Our room and en suit was gorgeous! We stayed in the coral room, with a wet room style shower and a very nice bath.
Review 58:The rooms can be a little chilly. It was a very cold night and the radiator struggled to keep the room warm. There was an extra electric radiator available in the wardrobe which I put on, but maybe still could have been warmer.
