Reviews for Bruggerhof

Review 1:Make sure to check the time table for the bus service from the glacier. If you miss it it's a 50eur cab back.

Review 2:The staff were great, the room was clean and breakfast was great.

Review 3:There was a 15 euro per-person charge we didn't know about. Traveling with 7 people, this ruined our feeling that we had found a great deal.

Review 4:The view is amazing!

Review 5:Breakfast is a bit limited and breakfast area is a bit small.

Review 6:Beautiful stunning views and very good location where you can find spar supermarket, petrol station, mayrhof town centre, cable car, red cross medical center and many restaurants and other places within short walking distance. Rooms are nicely decorated and of good size..very comfy and clean. Great balconies and magical views. Staff were very sweet and helpful too. WiFi was free and good as well. Large parking area for free

Review 7:Didn't like the apartment on the first floor (very old and smelly); we have to threaten that we leave to get the room changed. We didn't feel the "warm and welcoming feeling" or friendliness of the owners others are pleased with, in fact quite the opposite. You have better options for the money (several on same street).

Review 8:Walking distance to town center and lift cabins; quiet location to rest and charge your batteries

Review 9:We stayed two night in one of the Chalets. Was upgraded to a bigger Chalet than we originally booked. The lady who greeted us was wonderful from the beginning...gas us brochures on things to do on the area. The wifi in the chalet was great, easy to access. Chalet had a full kitchen, dining room, living room...our 4-bedroom had 2 full baths. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Back porch with grill, lounge chairs and picnic table. Views are great. Walking distance to restaurants and Mayrhofen lift.

Review 10:Nothing.

Review 11:Great location just away from the main street, huge balcony with breathtaking views, spotlessly clean, freindly / helpful family / staff, free car-park & WiFi, lovely breakfast room, several great restaurants within 5 minute walk.

Review 12:Maria is a wonderful hostess and Mayrhofen is a great Tyrolean base forsightseeing, hiking, biking and just relaxing. The breakfasts here wereexceptional and Maria patiently lets you you try out your Germanlanguage skills.

Review 13:Room was so cute - beautiful, wooden, I would like to stay there as long as I can. Balcony was looking to Tuxertal - window view was just amazing. Personnel was very friendly. Hotel has a large parking free of charge. Bed is very comfortable. Hotel has a large sunny terrace with sunbeds (really nice in April)

Review 14:The Cabin's rooms's height are not suitable for adults, the lack of comfortable sitting coach makes it hard to stay in the cabin for long.

Review 15:The friendliness of the family who runs the place, They are willing to assist. The location is good, not too far from the ski lifts.

Review 16:building is very old, need refurbish, made out of wood and because of that you can here every noise made by your neighbors. Breakfast is very simple, same things each morning. I do not recommend, very poor value for money. One can find much better accommodation in Mayrhofen.

Review 17:location is good, free and available parking places, good wifi which is free of charge

Review 18:staff is helpful, walk everywhere, there is a market very close , kitchen had small but modern dishwasher. There is a meat deli right at the base of Gondola , you can buy great ribs, chicken and bring it home to eat. Or, there are lots of restaurants walking distance

Review 19:There is nothing really apart from the closing of Ski Equipment room. My opinion is it should be locked by card and card given to the guests to avoid random people accessing the ski equipment.

Review 20:Nice atmosphere and ambiance before Christmas. Friendly and accommodating staff. Owners' presence means they care about the guests.

Review 21:Views into the mountains are awesome! Perfect place for a writer or artist to find inspiration. The owners are warm and friendly as well as staff. Enis is an excellent addition to their lovely guest home. I'm looking forward to returning soon!

Review 22:what's not to like?

Review 23:The lovely gathering place on the terrace with spectacular views of the Alps! The service and rooms were great, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Review 24:There was nothing we did not like about it at all.

Review 25:The place was situated in a perfect part of the town, the family were really kind, they made a special journey to the chalet to bring a bottle of wine and a card when it was my 65th birthday.

Review 26:The bedroom was extremely dark even with the lights on and furniture very antique The kitchen only had two hobs which were so close together that it made it difficult to have on at same time No drainer on sink to put washing up

Review 27:The garden terrace was fantastic, beautiful view , quiet and well equipped Comfortable bed Location quiet but near to town Friendly staff Room cleaned, towels changed every day

Review 28:There was nothing we didn't like.

Review 29:We liked the location. It was just a 5 mind walk into the town yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. The rooms were nicely decorated and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 30:Great place with great people

Review 31:View from the balcony

Review 32:Bruggerhof is owned by a nice family. Good Breakfast and fantastic views of the Zillertal.

Review 33:Nothing to dislike.

Review 34:Everything was in order and up to and exceeded our expectations.

Review 35:The shower door was bad and the cleaning fee was a little high

Review 36:The area

Review 37:I did not like that my stay was short! :)

Review 38:Superb service, amazing scenery. I will go again!!! Very kind owner. Super breakfast and service.

Review 39:Everything nothing to add

Review 40:Everything

Review 41:6 minute walk to the ski lift

Review 42:Small room.

Review 43:Rich buffet breakfast, good service. Penken is 8 minutes by foot. Green bus line is just 5 minutes to other cable cars.

Review 44:Bedroom was a bit dark

Review 45:We booked studio apartment, got a real kitchen - traditional style but fully equiped. Walking distance to the lift

Review 46:very nice hotel; very friendly staff; perfect stay in summer; good price/quality performance

Review 47:Breakfast is very basic, wouldn't buy it if is an extra expense.

Review 48:Location Cleanliness

Review 49:Gaps between floorboards and dirt trapped in those gaps

Review 50:Location for our purpose (paragliding) and very helpful staff

Review 51:Some of the furniture was a bit old and the interior a bit dark due to typical construction characteristic of the types of period buildings.

Review 52:The location was ideal for hiking and close to all ammenities. Great regional transit system with great value for money.

Review 53:The rooms are not renovated and the floor is noisy so you can hear the upper floor foot steps. But still good place.

Review 54:We came for a ski vacation in the Hintertux, the place was good for a 3 days trip, breakfast was ok and the staff was very nice and helpful. We got an early check in so that was very nice if them. Would recommend it.

Review 55:It was a pity that the local pick up bus for the Mayrhofen lifts didn't pass along the road. This is not the fault of the hotel though.

Review 56:The people were kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, served by a very efficient lady called Ines.Fresh and healthy products were used. All the staff spoke good English. The internet worked well at all times and there were a variety of television channels available in the room. The sauna was always hot after returning from skiing. It was quite near to the bus for going to the Hintertux glacier.

Review 57:Breakfast was outstanding as were the warm friendly staff Overall a homely feel and very welcoming The sheets were immaculate every day and behind the cupboards were clean as was everything else

Review 58:- Our apartment was a little bit below ground level, almost basement. - The rooms weren't very sound proof - Soft pillows

Review 59:- Location - Parking - The room was always very warm -Hairdryer on sight

Review 60:Seriously nothing to dislike whatsoever.

Review 61:We had an incredibly comfortable week here. The Tyrolean styled apartment has a kitchen with dining table, coffee machines; microwave, TV etc. We were given an ample welcome basket of; meat, bread, milk, butter, cheese yoghurt, eggs, muesli, fruit, preserves and coffee for the pod machine. Another flat screen TV in the bedroom, cosy bed, desk, spotless bathroom with towel changes daily if required and ample storage. The views from the balcony areas are fabulous. The town is nearby with plenty of eateries, bars, shops supermarket, ski hire, etc. Trains and buses are well linked to travel in and out of the valleys. There are many cycling and hiking trails for all levels and cable cars on the Penken and Ahorn mountains. The owners made our stay completely hassle-free ... left us alone but were available if ever we needed advice, cycle hire, Zillertal card, breakfast etc. Absolutely fantastic stay ... we will definitely return with our friends.

Review 62:Nothing of importance

Review 63:Friendly staff. Facilities good but siml ple.The balcony added to the enjoyment of the bedroom.Being out of the centre of the town was an advantage as it was much quieter.

Review 64:Nothing

Review 65:Quite simply the best accommodation i have ever had the pleasure to stay in! There is nothing i would suggest that could improve this establishment! This is not just my view but the view of my whole family and i will be returning next year!!

Review 66:the bedroom was dark with wood panelling and apartment was rather dated. there was no washing up bowl or draining board although washing up liquid, tea towels and cloths were supplied.

Review 67:liked the resort and the accommodation was good value and self catered and enjoyed the balcony and sky sports on the tv.

Review 68:The whole experience from the day of arrival to a very reluctant departure departure. The accommodation was well located within easy walking distance of all the local attractions, activities and public transport being very well appointed and comfortable. The scenery around the hotel was stunning. The owners were helpful and considerate.

Review 69:Beautiful traditional style chalet, with very clean modern interior-very nice. Great self-catering facilities. Fantastic location-lovely view of snow covered mountains outside windows, near to centre of Mayrhofen and near to cable car. Also has some English TV channels.

Review 70:Didn't go to ski, so not much else going on during March.

Review 71:Town is built in typical Tyrolean style. I could just imagine Heidi living in one of the older houses!

Review 72:I visted with a group of 5 friends and stayed in the separate annex.Whilst comfortable, the upstairs bedrooms in the eaves have very limitedhead space so not great if your 6 foot plus. And 2 of the bedrooms arelinterlinked so privacy could be an issue for some people. We enjoyed our stay and situated in a good location.

Review 73:great location, cleanliness, spacious accomodation.
