Country House Enastron sells fast on our site. Housed in a 500-years-old mansion in Argyroupolis village, Enastron features a stone-paved terrace with views over the surrounding mountains and the Cretan Sea. It consists of traditional studios with free Wi-Fi.
Fitted with stone arches and sculptured furniture, all air-conditioned units open to the communal terrace. Each has a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Facilities also include a seating area and TV with satellite channels.
Enastron is located 5 miles from the beach of Episkopi and around 9.3 miles from Kournas Lake. The town of Rethymno is 14.3 miles away. Free parking is possible on site.

Review 1：We had no bad impressions. It is worth noting that the road up to Enastron is steep and narrow and our hire car was not up to the ascent. However we parked in the village square and it was quite a short walk through village streets so we did not find that a problem. Others might, if they have mobility problems.
Review 2：Set in a beautiful village with wonderful mountain views, but only 5 miles from an excellent beach with a good taverna plus all facilities. Eating out locally is also good. Argyroupoulis is a good base from which to explore the west of Crete. It has some good local historical sites too (a Roman necropolis, a 17th century fulling mill, springs, various Venetian and Roman ruins).
Review 3：This was certainly the best place of our 2 weeks trip (changed location nearly every night). Very large, newly done but apparently in an old structure, comfortable large beds, very clean, friendly owners. Very good value for money.

Review 5：The property itself is characterful and so charming. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The view from the terrace is just spectacular. What made this place stand out were the people. My hostess was so lovely. She was extremely helpful. I had no rental car, so she and her husband came to pick me up from the bus stop upon my arrival and helped me arrange my transfer to the port on the day of my departure. I really enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend anyone passing through this village to stay for a night or two. It might ended up being one of the highlights of your Greece trip.

Review 10：This remarkable hotel with its spectacular view could not have been more lovely and relaxing. The owners were especially warmhearted and sympathetic, and the extremely comfortable and clean suite had so many special touches (very pretty furnishings and artistic wallhangings.) We did not want to leave this beautiful and harmonious place!
Review 11：Beautiful authentic restored appartements. We had a big terrace with view over the valley. Very warm welcome from the owner. Good wifi. Restaurant tip: the Garden of arkoudaina on the road between episkopi and argiroupoli (near archontiki).We did a beautiful hiking tour in the canyons starting from argiroupoli. Scenic road to asi gonia and kallikratis.

Review 13：Enastron is set in a pair of old stone building on which Dora and her husband have done a beautiful restoration. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and share a lovely shaded terrace with a spectacular view to the mountains and the sea. Dora was a wonderful hostess—we asked to borrow a bit of olive oil for a salad and it arrived with a plate of figs from her garden for breakfast. A great memory and the best value of our stay on Crete. Tip: Have the antecristo roast lamb at the springs below the town (as good as the very best asadors in Spain!), but choose Anebolu not Vieux Moulin and go for lunch not dinner (they run out).

Review 22：The best experience with accommodation in Greece. Excellent location. Nejlepší ubytování v Řecku, jaké jsme kdy zažili. Prostorné, čisté, stylové, dobře vybavené, veliká koupelna s vanou, úžasná lokalita a okolí, možnosti mnoha výletů, do 10 dojezdových minut i moře na severu, do 40 minut i moře na jihu.
