Reviews for Villa Zampeta
Review 1:The owner is amazing! Personalized service 24 hours a day. A drink when you arrive and snacks in the room when you return at night. Fantastic location.
Review 2:that I had to leave from Villa Zampeta and from Milos island
Review 3:Ms Voula was very friendly, and extremelly professional and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and especially enjoyed having it on my balcomy, viewing the sea. Absolutely gorgeous it was my room as there was a big poster bed!
Review 4:The location was amazing, opposite beach with stunning view of the bay.Short walk into town that has fabulous restaurants, we sat by waters edge every evening to eat. The owner could not do more to make our stay perfect, lots of extra coffees and nibbles. We were on our honeymoon and arrived to flowers and candles dotted around the room, very beautiful.
Review 5:Our host was so kind and friendly, packing us extra snacks for our boat trips and insisting on getting at 6am to give us breakfast and drive us to the ferry port when we left. The rooms were beautiful and we were right opposite the beach with the town a short walk along the sea front.
Review 6:Some traffic noise due to the road, room decoration a bit "kitschy" :-).
Review 7:Breakfast was excellent. Not so far from the city center (port area). Supermarket and Mining Museum close from the hotel.
Review 8:Wifi was poor. Bed was a bit too firm.
Review 9:Mrs Voula was a very friendly hostess with immaculately clean premises; she was willing to help us with every aspect of our stay; she was very knowledgable about her island and wanted to recommend the very best locations.
Review 10:Beds, a bit hard for scandinavians.
Review 11:Voula, the host did the most to make our visit in Milos the best ever. Always helping and caring. Nice breakfast buffé and tidy rooms. We also got a room with seaview change without asking. Just brilliant!
Review 12:Nothing
Review 13:Room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. the property is located on the waterfront in Adamas within a short walk of the town with plenty of restaurants and bars etc. Κυρια Βουλα is a very helpful pleasant host. Breakfast offered a wide variety of food and was delicious
Review 14:Shower tended to wet bathroom floor, small problem
Review 15:Owner very helpful, offered lift to restaurant as it was raining, very big comfortable room ,everything spotless, across from seaside, short walk to town ,lots of lovely restaurants nearby, very friendly lady owner,it's like being in a private house
Review 16:We got a very warm welcome in this magnificant place. Mrs. Voula helped planning our days and was really considerate for our every need. Breakfast was awesome and we could even take some extra's with us for during the day. She made sure we could park our bikes. The view was extraordinary beautiful! The rooms were very clean and spacious. There is nothing negative to say about our stay there, it was so perfect! We got clean towels, shampoo, etc. every day, the bed was perfect. We stayed there in the beginning of november, it was very quiet on the island, and the weather was still very good. +++ recommendation!! +++ (Efharisto, Voula)
Review 17:Bed was a bit hard
Review 18:Location was good, not too far away or too close to the city center Nice view of he sea Very at tentative host Toiletries and hair dryer included! LOVED the free slippers! :)
Review 19:About 12 mins walk to the centre of Adamas (but various of the Milos buses stop nearby)
Review 20:Right on the sea front (though there is a road between the rooms and the sea, but not over noisy). Well decorated - not your usual Greek 'rooms'. Voula who runs it very friendly and provides a good breakfast
Review 21:This facility would suit clients requiring a B & B style accommodation only, ie Not Hotel facilities such as a bar, reception or swimming pool. The location is situated close to the Adamas restaurants and bars which is good, however, this facility is located directly on the main road into the port and is at times quite noisy due to traffic flow which unfortunately spoils any relaxation time on your balcony. On a positive note it is directly opposite the beach and very convenient for swimming.
Review 22:Voula gave us a very warm welcome, and it was nice to meet her family. The room was first class, spacious, well equipped and clean. Very comfortable bed and first class WiFi. The TV reception was good and actually had an English speaking news channel unlike other Hotel quotes. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were provided and the breakfast provided was simple but delicious Greek style selection.
Review 23:That I had to leave, wanted to stay there and work from my veranda.
Review 24:Voulas was a wonderful hostess, with fresh Greek specialties made each morning. She made an extra effort to meet our every need an more (e.g., served us fresh watermelon after we arrived back from the beach). The list of activities they have prepared was very helpful in touring MIlos.
Review 25:Voula the owner was wonderful. I've never been treated so well at a hotel. The location is good, just a few minutes from aadamos port by car. Voula makes the breakfast every morning and its very good. She made a super helpful itinerary of what to see and do on the island, we were very grateful. For the price and how well you get treated by Voula, you cannot beat this place. Would highly recommend this place.
Review 26:Thanks!
Review 27:Fantastic family run hotel and Voulla's hospitality was second to none.
Review 28:The bed was a bit too hard.
Review 29:The location was just outside Adamas and perfect for the tavernas etc.
Review 30:Perfect in every way. Excellent, warm, helpful and friendly staff. Superbly clean hotel. Excellent location and great value for money.
Review 31:Location and facilities are great, but owner's hospitality is the best
Review 32:Large room, superbe sea view from the terrace, nice furniture, proximity to restaurants, really nice and helpful staff
Review 33:Everything was very good - warm welcome, hospitality, breakfast, location, spacious room, view, .....
Review 34:Clean and spacious room, complete and freshly baked breakfast, kind and helpful owners.
Review 35:Traffic noise
Review 36:Closeness to town Nice view
Review 37:Good location, voula was a great host. When we come back to milos we will stay at zampeta again
Review 38:small shower
Review 39:Loved every moment , Voula was amazing . Served us breakfast every morning with home made goodies . I will definitely go back again. Thank you Voula :)
Review 40:The road can be noisy if the window is open.
Review 41:Great place to stay just outside Adamas. Very elaborate breakfast with a touch of mothers home cooking. We felt very at home, the hostess is very friendly and will do anything to make your stay comfortable.
Review 42:The location of Villa Zampeta is great, a 5-10 minute walk to the port, surrounded by lively restaurants, tourist offices, yachts for booking day trips and ferries to other islands. Also close to a few car hire places which came in handy. The villa itself was very homey and welcoming, and Voulla - the host - was extremely friendly and helpful. She laid on a varied and tasty breakfast buffet (definitely try the coffee) and did her utmost to make our stay comfortable, giving us maps, tips, directions etc. We were given the most beautiful room, a huge double on the ground floor with a terrace overlooking the harbour. It looked like a 5 star room but for half the price. The island is tiny, so within a 15 minute drive you will find yourself at the most beautiful beaches and quaint areas. Would definitely stay here again!
Review 43:Absolutely Loved Villa Zampeta!! The Room was very clean and had an amazing view to the sea which I got the enjoy every day. The owner was extremely helpful, super nice and accommodating. The location is Ideal because is literally about 5 min walk to Adamas city centre, where you can find all the restaurants, bars and shops. Loved my stay.
Review 44:The location isn't right in the heart of town, about a 10-15minute walk from the ferry, however saying that there is parking for a rental, and a central location may not be what you necessarily need.
Review 45:The high finishing of the decor makes you feel like you are getting value for money.
Review 46:Everything was perfect, honestly, we loved this place, you will not be disappointed.
Review 47:Wonderful host whoe was so kind and friendly to us. Fantastic views from both our rooms, great access to the town and some local cafes. The rooms are incredibly stylish and clean.
Review 48:Nothing what so ever
Review 49:We were welcomed with open arms, the owner was so lovely and greeted us as her family, she couldn't do enough for us , she was the perfect hostess. The rooms were clean, great view of the ocean and breakfast was lovely too sat on the patio looking out to sea, overall we would say that we are definitely going back, she gave us a little pressie as we left, we didn't want to leave.
Review 50:We wanted to stay forever!!,
Review 51:This place is AMAZING.. We arrived at 10am to a free breakfast, and from then on the service has been top shelf. We were treated like family from the start. We had a beautiful big room right across from the beach. The breakfasts were incredible, I have been travelling for 7 weeks and this is by far the best place we stayed.
Review 52:Sometimes, we ran out of hot water.
Review 53:Very good location, 5-10 minutes walk to the main part of the town and there is a beach right in front of the hotel. We had a room facing the beach on the second floor and had a very nice view from the balcony. The lady at the hotel always looked after us and she took my boyfriend to the airport really early in the morning (before 6) and the rest of us later in the day too. Breakfast was nice.
Review 54:We arrived at 8 am on sunday and we have been welcomed in the place very warmly and immidately as friends. We've spend on Milos one week and it was an amazing experience. Staff was very friendly and all the time available. It's optimal to rent a scooter and move around the island. Villa Zampeta is in the perfect position if you come to Milos to visit it. It's close to all the places you need.
Review 55:Friendliness of the owner made us and our friends feel like family. I feel as though I have made a friend for life! Furnishings are warm and inviting, not sterile hotel-style. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Voula was very helpful giving us good recommendations on where to eat and sights to see.
Review 56:Everything was good.
Review 57:Very very nice personnel, hotel is run by a woman and her mother who make every effort to make your stay in milos perfect. Area is also good. Some nice restaurants and a supermarket within 300m, just about 1km to the port or adamas center. To get to the beach just cross the road or take the bus - which stops about 50m down the road and brings you to all major villages. Breakfast is handmade and very tasty. Although the hotel is on the coastal road, it's very quiet!
Review 58:The distal position to the main port could fore some turn to be positive.
Review 59:The owner is very friendly and provides any assistance needed. Very clean and well equipped rooms.
Review 60:This is clearly a newly refurbished house but things are unfinished. Wall light fittings are bare bulbs hanging on wires. The bathroom half tries to be a wet room but fails because the floor drain is poorly fitted. So the floor quickly becomes a slippery puddle with a sodden mat. With only one outside table and two chairs guests are really forced to take their breakfast on their balcony, which is nice but a little limiting. This was twice the price of similar accommodation on other islands and I'm not convinced it is worth it.
Review 61:Lovely housekeeper who tries very hard to please, and mothered us like special guests. Every day a fresh surprise awaited us - fresh figs, cakes, bottle of wine. Large comfortable seafront room well furnished. Good seafront location within easy walk of town and facilities.
Review 62:The location is perfect, 10 minute walk from the port and the local restaurants and shops. Perfect views from the front of the house with balcony, gorgeous view of the Sea, quiet road in front, we had the balcony doors open all the time. The rooms are simple, AC available, not that we needed it. Decent size kitchen, small bathroom but your not meant to party in there. Are rooms were cleaned, beds made every day by Voula. Voula is the owner. This women is my new mama, she is amazing. Voulas English is not brilliant, but it's better than my Greek. Nothing was too much trouble for Vouka, in fact she couldn't do or offer enough. Our ferry was cancelled during the day, next ferry was at 03:00, Voula knocked are door at 02:00 and offered to take us to the ferry, in fact she wouldn't take no for an answer. Amazing mama. We will go back again.
Review 63:Beds a little firm for me, directions on website could be more clear.
Review 64:Great welcoming staff, recommended a great restaurant and even showed itto us. Clean rooms and excellent breakfast.
Review 65:Great location just outside the main port, but within walking distance of all facilities- front rooms have lovely vista over the sea!
Review 66:The owner was very friendly and the view from the balcony was superb. Very good value for money.
Review 67:Nothing.
Review 68:Our stay was amazing!Mrs. Voula is extremely helpful and sweet..The hotel is very cozy and wonderful breakfast.
Review 69:Very nice and friendly owner and a absolutely fantastic breakfast. We truely recommend it!
Review 70:Very comfortable room , great breakfast and wonderful host
Review 71:Very friendly staff - the owner drove us to the port in the morning Close to the port Near scooter rental facility
Review 72:no specific issues
Review 73:friendly support
Review 74:A very nice place with nice view , very clean and a friendly owner lady ms Voula.
Review 75:Extremely friendly owner. Excellent breakfast. Large and clean rooms.
Review 76:The friendliness of our hostess! She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.
