Review 6：Lovely helpful owners. Spotlessly clean. Comfy beds, modern, new and clean bathrooms. Parking easy. Enjoyed being somewhere a little quieter with it's own charm (rastoke/slunj). Supermarket closed on Sunday, but local fruit, veg, ice cream stalls bars all open. Rastoke easy walk with great food and beautiful waterfalls.

Review 10：The hotel is quiet, not far from the city center of Slunj and the main road is quite far, so there is no noise from it. The room is great, very comfortable. It is possible to use a terrace to have a breakfast, for example, or to drink tea (tea/coffee making facilities are free of charge). I advise to visit Petro restaurant to eat grilled trouts and an old village Rastoke, which is in 7 minutes walking distance.

Review 21：It was a last minute decision to stay at Rooms Jana. We selected this apartment based on high ratings from booking.com. There are 4 apartments on the same floor with shared covered outdoor kitchen. We loved our clean and modern room with comfortable queen bed, spacious and modern bathroom. It looks almost like a standard hotel room. Away from the noise of the main road, nice and quiet; easy to use parking space. The owner gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation and an advice to visit the watermill village of Rastoke nearby (15 min walk). Slunj is only 30 min drive from Plitvice lakes. Great value for the money. Would recommend Rooms Jana to all my friends and family.

Really nice guy full of information and advice and Slunj must be one of the most stunning places in Croatia. Walk down from the bridge on the Slunj side and cross the wooden bridge to a restaurant in the middle of the falls.. For a fantastic trout meal...

Review 79：My wife and I stayed in the Rooms Jana during our honeymoon while we were visiting the Plitvice Lakes. The simple fact is that Jana is a fantastic place to stay. The facilities were clean and modern. The staff was so kind and hospitable. They even put a bouquet of flowers in our room since it was our honeymoon. Overall we were very satisified.

I paid directly when I checked in because I wanted to leave early the next day and he went downstairs to get my change and when he came back he brought a really nicely presented tray with tea (brewed by his wife), a honey pot and cookies (they even sprinkled icing sugar on the cookies; that was so thoughtful). They really care about making people feel welcome -- and it works! :) He also offered to drive me to the bus station in the morning, even though it's not far (8 minutes walking). + The room and bathroom were very nice and luminous, and really clean. They look very new. + The bed (a double) was very comfortable. + The area is *really* quiet. + The price was great. + Rastoke is really beautiful; I had a really nice walk along the river.
Review 95：Despite the weird name, Slunj is a beautiful place, with very pretty waterfalls at the bottom end of the town, set against the backdrop of quaint old stone buildings and a large curved bridge. Rooms Jana is at the other end of town but still only a short walk away from the falls and very close to the centre of town. No breakfast is available but the wonderful young family who own the rooms greeted us on arrival with home made treats to eat (and drink). This friendly atmosphere continued during our brief stay in what is a very comfortable and well appointed, modern facility. Highly recommended place to stay if you just want to enjoy Slunj or if you want a base from which to visit the incredible UNESCO listed Plitvice National Park. (An absolute MUST DO for visitors to Croatia!).
