Review 1：I guess that if your room is not oriented towards the sea, the so many barking dogs in the neighborhood may be a real nuissance!

Review 5：As mentioned by other travellers, the staff at front desk is not very friendly, we experienced it both at the time of check-in in the evening and check-out in the morning. The rooms are clean but cramped. There is no sufficient lighting in the common areas, so when you are getting in your room you would need a torch to see properly. The breakfast is OK ish, and is not managed properly as almost everything was cold. The service levels and options at the restaurant are poor, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise for us as we went to the nearby Kastelo, which was excellent. The pool was closed, when asked why, we were told it was due to the winter season. We stayed in many hotels during that trip but none of the other hotels had there pool closed. The doors are locked to the lifts from the ground floor parking, you have to request the staff to open them every time you use them, very poor facility.

Review 6：Location is perfect if you have a sea facing room. Can clearly see the splendid RION bridge from the balcony.

Review 7：The rooms are very sparcely decorated - nothing on the walls to give some character. The room has nowhere to hang beach wear and towels, which is odd for a beach hotel.

Review 13：It's an excellent Hotel. It was very clean. The food was very good. The atmosphere was very positive. The staff were very professional. There were helpful and they were always smiling. The view from the hotel as well as the beach in front of the hotel was fantastic. You can find some crystal clear waters and a beautiful beach right in front of the hotel. The pool was very clean and the area around the pool was very relaxing.

Review 14：NOISE FROM A/C ALL NIGHT, THE 3RD BED IN THE ROOM WAS A COUCH AND NOT A BED, THERE WERE CRACKS IN THE PAINT IN THE WALLS OF MY ROOM, THE COFFEE IN BREAKFAST HAD AN UNUSUAL SMELL (MADE ME WONDER WHETHER THE COFFEE MACHINE WAS EVER CLEANSED), I SAW BROKEN MARBLES IN SEVERAL AREAS OF THE HOTEL.

One day they organized a beach party (kindof rave party) from 17 until midnight with loud music in the garden ofthe hotel and they did not care about the comfort of the guests. Thisparty has nothing to do with a hotel that is described as a place forfamilies and people who want to relax (and sleep in the night!!!). Earlyin the day I asked until what time the party will be loud and I was said"just afternoon". It turned out that until midnight isafternoon for them...

The pool area was really well looked after and had plenty of loungers etc. It really is a great hotel and such good value for money.

Not the best beaches in the area given that Rio looks to be a shipping port. Did not make us want to stay any longer.
