Review 10：We stayed again this summer at Margaret’s Island on our way to Corfu. We found again the friendly manager, Tassos, who remembered us even on the phone when we called to tell him we will arrive late (as usual). This time we were five persons and booked a larger room for all of us (two adults and three kids). When we got there Tassos insisted that we get an extra room FOR FREE so we better accommodate. No matter how much I insisted, he didn’t accept my paying the extra room. Never happened to me before! Furthermore, when we left he offered us a traditional bottle of tsipuro. .. The resort was as beautiful and tranquil as always and made us regret we didn’t have the time to spend a whole week there, just for brain washing. I think people who live there must live twice as much as us in the rest of the world. I consider going there to ski this winter. Go there, if you have the chance, and say Hi! to Tassos!

Review 11：great hosts, Dimitris and his brother were very friendly and respectfull. we ate at their taverna some delicious greek dishes, their homemade wine is unbelievable, we recieved a lot of gifts. large rooms, good wi-fi connection, confortable beds, clean bathroom, magnificent scenery in a great location, near a mountain river in a forest-park. best destination to rest if you transit Greece from north to Zakynthos direction, or if you want to recharge "your batteries", this is the perfect place. we've got an exceptional time at Margaret's Island and for sure we will be back.

Review 12：Unfortunately breakfast is served only in nearby hotel (which is honestly not far away) but is only served till 10am. Make sure you wake up early to avoid missing it!!

Review 14：We had 2 rooms here and we really liked everything. The hosts were very warm&welcoming, the rooms are spacious and restful, The beds have excellent matresses, the bathrooms are impecable. It was wonderful to stay early in the morning on the large balconies and to enjoy the music of birds and the relaxing sound of the stream in front of the hotel. In the evening we had an excellent supper near the river, under the light of lamps, close to a basin with mountain fish. If you want fresh fish, the host just pick up the fish from the water and prepare it in front of you. Agios Nikolaos is an extraordinary place to go to relax or walk in the forest and i cannot imagine a better place in the area than Margaret's Island.

Review 15：If you do not know this area you may have an impression that you willend up in nature in the middle of nowhere in a very quiet place.However, reality is that Margaret's Island Hotel is one of few bigtavernas standing next to each other ready to accomodate hundreds ofguests at the same time. It was not quite what we expected reading thehotel description and even most of the reviews (?!). Our room did nothave wifi, but perhaps we should have read the description better sayingthat only some of the rooms have it. We could smell somebody was smokingin the room earlier (washing the curtains could help). Overall, thehotel requires already quite some refurbishing.
