Review 1：Big enough to have all the facilities we could need, including an excellent swimming pool, but small enough to care for each guest. We entertained friends in the dinning room one evening at it was a great night with good food and service.

Review 2：Very Late arrival was no problem. Breakfast Staff helped with arranging breakfast meeting. Attentiveness of Staff throughout visit was exemplary nothing was too Much trouble.

Review 3：It was all good apart from the temperature in our room, it was far too hot. We turned off all of the heaters and had the French Windows open all night and it was mid November!

Review 18：BAD BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE 2ND DAY - BREAKFAST TOOK 35 MINUTES TO ARRIVE FROM SITTING DOWN AND WHEN IT DID THE POACHED EGGS WERE RAW AND THE OTHER BREAKFAST WAS COLD. THE OAK BAR SERVED GOOD FOOD ON THE TWO OCCASSIONS WE VISITED BUT ON THAT SECOND VISIT A YOUNG DRUNK LOUD MALE WAS ALLOWED TO REMAIN IN THE BAR WHICH MADE FOR A VOLATILE ATMOSPHERE. THERE IS ALSO A FUNCTION ROOM ON SITE AND THIS WAS HIRED FOR 2 OF THE 3 NIGHTS WE WERE THERE. THE DOOR IS CONTINUALLY LEFT OPEN AND THE NOISE WAS EXCESSIVE AND WENT ON PAST MIDNIGHT ON BOTH NIGHTS.

Review 20：WiFi can be bit iffy in bedroom. Shower head not the best room 104, but plenty of water pressure & hot. Being a bit picky here as still had a good shower and WiFi did work !

Review 22：Room 333 very spacious ,clean. Only fault was the shower which was very difficult to use. More water came out of the tap than the shower head. I did report this when we left so hopefully the problem will be resolved.

Review 30：Continuous generator noise, particularly noticeable at night. I reported this during an earlier stay (in another room in the same "new" wing) and, although subsequently reduced somewhat, the noise persisted. Take earplugs!!

Review 42：There was a very noticeable "hum", presumably from a generator or other system, heard in my room which was very disturbing on my first night. After mentioning this the following morning, the hum reduced and, although still present, it was much easier to sleep on subsequent nights.

Review 56：A local who frequented the Oak bar on the Friday night who became offensive and eventually obnoxious after intruding into a conversation between my self and my guest. This caused the bar to be closed and service continued through the night porter. The manager did intervene and remove the long standing local but the damage had been done.

There is a bus which will take you to town which stops outside the hotel. Overall a good experience. Glad we did not take advantage of hotel offer of half board as there are offers at many restaurants in town in October..

Review 82：Room very noisy, windows let in a lot of external noise causing disturbed sleep. The bed and pillows were firm to say the least. This made for a rather uncomfortable sleep. The hotel boasts 'newly refurbished' rooms, however, I would not class room 334 as newly refurbished, very dated bathroom and general room décor could be improved.

Review 85：Everything was excellent, all staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was great and always served hot. We had several evening meals in the bar, again a good choice of menu and always cooked very well. The swimming pool was a bonus for us, we used it daily. This hotel is very popular with local people, that says a lot for its quality.

Review 86：Room could get hot at night but think air conditioning is not standard in many hotels over there. Could be a bit noisy but think this was more from people using the road rather than the hotel bar but only went on for a short while.

Review 92：Wifi coverage inconsistent. Bathroom small. No disabled parking space which made unloading awkward on busy weekend evenings. Breakfast finished every day at 9-30 which is too early at a reasonable sized hotel. Quality of accommodation variable, and some redecorating required.
