Whitemoor House offers award-winning bed and breakfast accommodation in Lyndhurst, the largest village in New Forest National Park. Deer, ponies and donkeys wander freely around the surrounding moorland.
A freshly cooked full English breakfast with vegetarian option is offered, or alternatives such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and omelettes. Guests can also enjoy Whitemoor’s homemade preserves and a selection of fruit, cereals and yoghurt.
Rooms at the guest house all have a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. Some also feature scenic views of the surrounding forest.
There is a guest lounge with leather sofas, a traditional coal fire, and a library of books, DVDs and games. It leads out onto a patio area and into Whitemoor’s peaceful garden.
The area around Whitemoor House has many local attractions, footpaths and cycle tracks and is steeped in literary history. Alice Hargreave, the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland, was buried at St Michael's Church in Lyndhurst. It is 3 miles to Minstead, where guests can visit the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Whitemoor House is a 7-minute walk to the village centre with a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and tea shops.

Review 6：They thought of everything you could need on holiday, including a fan if it's too hot and a four plug extension lead. (There's never enough plugs in a guest house or hotel). Even had a teddy on the bed, really nice! Home to Home experience, Excellent cooked breakfast, home made jam and lemon curd for your toast. Highly recommend.
Review 7：Jayne and David were very welcoming and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the location perfect and the breakfast was very satisfying! They accommodated dietary requirements adeptly, once again going above and beyond. We would not hesitate to recommend Whitemoor for a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of the world.

Review 9：The warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for Jayne & David the owners. They did everything to make our stay memorable. The bedrooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend without reservation. We had a lovely stay.

Review 13：We stayed at the Whitemoor house for the 1st time w/c 6th July. From the moment we arrived it felt like home from home. The welcome was wonderful Jane and David took time to explain nice places to go for walking eating etc. The guest house was wonderful, the room was beautifully done. There was little touches that i liked very much, like the fudge on the bed in a lovely little packege tied with a ribbon. This was there every day, it just made it so nice. I will be going back, and I will recommend this to my friend. Wonderful week was had.
Review 14：The owners couldn't do enough for us! A lovely touch included a warm welcome on arrival with pots of tea and coffee and home made cake in the lounge. Breakfast was superb - eggs done to individual taste. The bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent all round.

Review 19：There is not enough time or space to tell all that we liked! The decor was blue and white English teatime--timeless. The room was large and comfortably appointed with a beautiful view of the New Forest ponies. The location was great for touring, which we did every day, having good input from Jayne about places to go, timing, and directions. Jayne and David were delightful hosts--just like dear neighbours, ready to help or bring you a pot of tea, or bake you a cake! The breakfasts were lovely and the homemade candy left on the freshly made bed each morning was a special treat! I certainly recommend Whitmore House and the New Forest area to get a true taste of English hospitality.
Review 20：If you have a room at the front of the house and are a light sleeper you may find the a road noisy, especially if the window is open - so ask for one at the back. Mattress was too soft for us the first night, but we were moved into a room with a firmer one and given some chocolates for our troubles!

Review 37：Jayne and David who run this little guest house are exceptional hosts! They offered to pick us up and take us to the nearest station and even made tea and cake for us upon arrival! The room was exceptionally comfy and the breakfast was fantastic...all made by David and Jayne themselves! It's a relaxing village with some great pubs and cute shops. Great for country walks and a chilled out weekend. I couldn't recommend this place more! Thanks for a great Valentines Day weekend! Ven had a great time!

Review 75：From the time we arrived until the time we left we were made so welcome by David and Jayne. The tea and cake on arrival was such a nice touch. We had the Forest View room with a four poster bed, the room was amazingly spacious clean and comfortable. The choice at breakfast was brilliant and David's cooked breakfast was looked forward to each morning. The small touches made it extra special. We were given good advice for days out and places to eat. Overall a gem of a find and we will be going back. If you are reading this review take our advice just book it.
