Reviews for Moseley Farm B&B

Review 1:It's a wee bit tired in parts but perfectly comfortable and much more interesting than the ubiquitous travelodge!

Review 2:It was spacious, clean, comfy and very inexpensive! Great breakfast which I felt was good value at £6 a head - as much cereal & toast as you wanted and a 'pick your options' cooked breakfast - which included decent scrambled eggs which is a sign someone knows how to cook!

Review 3:parking is OK but we arrived late due to traffic and being a farm ,was pitch black till you get near the building (spot light comes on )... thank full for my touch on the phone .

Review 4:we needed a hotel close to the university for our daughter. fantastic location for this and being very rural, very quiet.

Review 5:Floors a bit creaky - as one would expect from a period farmhouse. The Crown is very much 'restaurant food at restaurant prices', not 'a pub with food'.

Review 6:Good location as a base for wider exploits (if a bit tricky to find first time). Very accommodating with check-in times. Little fuss in check-in, breakfast, or check-out.

Review 7:Didn't like the bed linen which was a bit old and pillows needed replacing. Toilet paper was cheap and thin. En suite was in need of updating.

Review 8:Fantastic breakfast, large room, plenty of space for the four of us.

Review 9:Access at all times during stay. Availability of refrigerator and microwave in dining room at any time. Excellent value for money of single room with good facilities.

Review 10:My stay at moseley farm B & B was for work purposes and for me it was ideal.Car parking was off road and secure. The room was large, clean and comfortable and with the additional use if a fridge and microwave it was ideal.I will certainly stay again when working in this area.

Review 11:Quite dated decor. Shared bathroom well kept but bath odd design and not easy to get in or out off.

Review 12:It was very clean and staff were friendly. Pricing reasonable but would have been dissappointed if i had paid more.

Review 13:Nice quiet location with fantastic views from the room. Good WIFI. There is a convenient communal fridge and microwave available for guest use. Very good value for money

Review 14:It was not really worth £60. I would say it should be more £30-£40 but maybe I was paying more as there were three beds in the room. However, I did not see the location in the day and maybe that is very nice. I was only staying there because there were no places to stay in Worcester.

Review 15:no en-suite, but we knew that before going but never experienced before, so would only book a room with en-suite in future.

Review 16:the staff were lovely and the food excellent.

Review 17:Bring a good SatNav or road maps. Small roads can quickly get jammed up by repairs or traffic and you may need to plan alternatives.

Review 18:Comfortable, surrounded by incredibly quiet, green farmland views.

Review 19:We wouldn't have chosen this accommodation if we had another option. We didn't like the family room with dirty grey carpet, creaking floor and flimsy door. Overall, a good value for money.

Review 20:The beds are comfortable.

Review 21:Lovely peaceful spot, great breakfast. Free range chickens in the garden were great to watch and the eggs were nice too! Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Review 22:Cold shower first day there it was fixed for the second day and the add tells you that you have sky in every room but only if you have a sky card for the box

Review 23:Old farm house

Review 24:Absolutely nothing to complain of!

Review 25:This is a proper farmhouse stay. Nothing pretentious, just good old-fashioned B+B. The staff could not have been more helpful and the place seemed delightfully rural although only two miles at most from Worcester City centre. Tons of very hot water on tap and the breakfast was well cooked and hot. Excellent.

Review 26:There was no one to welcome me on arrival just note on the door to say give them a ring if there was any problems

Review 27:the bed was very comfy and the breakfast was good value

Review 28:Nothing to dislike - better than what I paid for

Review 29:I just needed somewhere cheap but comfortable to stay the night before running an event in Malvern - which is very expensive. Had wi fi, tv, use if fridge and microwave. Lovely setting. Exceptional value for money

Review 30:Very comfortable room with free Wifi. We had a shared bathroom but as some rooms were en suite, we never had to wait to use the bathroom. Staff friendly and atmosphere relaxed.

Review 31:I couldn't access the WiFi from my room as the signal was poor, but that was probably a good thing as I was able to "switch off" and enjoy an early night.

Review 32:The staff were very friendly, allowing me to use the dining room to eat my take-away when i had arrived in the evening. The room was lovely and the shared bathroom was clean and tidy.

Review 33:During my second, longer stay here in April, I was able to explore the surrounding area more than I was in cold, wet, dark January. Highlights included a 5-mile(ish) walk along the River Severn into the city centre, a drive through some beautiful countryside and several very good pubs serving decent food and quality ales. Shane and Karen are very accommodating owners; my dog and I are always made to feel very welcome.

Review 34:Great check in & great room with a lovely view across farmland. Fantastic for the dogs & the owners were very friendly & accommodating. Booked again for next year & looking forward to it :-)

Review 35:Wi-fi kept dropping out as soon as other people started to use it so I was unable to work

Review 36:Location very convenient for Worcester, Quiet, clean and comfortable

Review 37:Room wasn't sparkling clean but was ok for what we needed.

Review 38:Friendly welcome. Comfortable large family room with ensuite facilities. Were only there overnight. Breakfast good.

Review 39:There were quite a lot off puddles and mud on the path to the house and the security lights didn't always help as I found them dazzling at times. Other than that, I have no complaints at all.

Review 40:I needed somewhere to stay while on a training course in Worcester and this place fitted the bill nicely. Nothing fancy, but a friendly and comfortable place to stay in a nice, quiet location not too far from the city centre and all at a reasonable price. Breakfast was freshly cooked for the time I had requested. There is also a microwave and extra crockery and cutlery in the dining room available for guest use if you want to bring your own food. Shane and Karen even wash up after you. Other reviewers have mentioned a lack of parking, but there is plenty of space to park at the top of the track, right next to the gate of the house. The directions on the website were very clear and I found the place without any problems at around 8 o'clock on a wet and windy January night. The entrance is clearly signposted and easy to spot from the road even in the dark. The big bonus for me was its dog friendliness. The fact I could take my dog with me meant I didn't have to worry about finding anyone to look after her while I was away. I have more training sessions later in the year and I've already booked Moseley Farm for next time.

Review 41:This is really in the countryside. You would need to bring evening meal with you or eat in town before going back to the farm.

Review 42:Large room, ensuite, easy to find. Ideal location for Worcester Uni just 10min out of town. This was ideal for what I wanted, somewhere to stay, able to work in the evening and comfortable room.

Review 43:Initially hard to find but once found it was fine, even at night. No credit card, or charge for using one, but I was given notice so I got the cash.

Review 44:Pretty much everything Superb breakfast Lovely location Very competitive price Very friendly people Great shower and bath, even if they had to be shared.

Review 45:Nothing to mention to be honest...

Review 46:The bedroom and seperate dining area... the overall atmosphere... The quiet and extanded countryside view... Shane increased our chechout time by an hour...Thanks mate... Needed a break from our usual busy life and Mosely bnb was a good choice... it gave us feeling of being in home, away from home...

Review 47:Nothing really, not the poshest place but you don't go to a quirky little village to stay in 5 star! So cant fault it

Review 48:Bed extremely comfy and the room was lovely and warm. Greatbreakfast in the morning. The owner was very friendly and happy to help. I arrived at 1am and he had even left security light on for me very thoughtful

Review 49:Got there in the dark and couldn't see past my nose. As I got closer, there was spot lights though.

Review 50:Perfect for a night with my son, basic but clean and comfy

Review 51:A bit of a distance between the farm and the centre. However taxis ranged from £10-£13 (£13 for the early hours of morning). Not much in my opinion. The farm itself is nothing fancy but it's clean, comfortable and the owners were very friendly! Great value for money!

Review 52:When my daughter was later to arive than expected they took the trouble to ring me knowing I was using a taxi firm which they had recommend .also they gave us a lift back to Malvern at no charge . Also the use of a micro wave came in handy.

Review 53:It was all going well until an encounter with the lady owner in the morning with a question over the bill instead of using a friendly manner to explain.. She swung straight into defensive mode and was rude and abrupt, there was no need for this manner and for me ruined my stay. For this reason I would not consider staying again even though prior to the conversation I would have!

Review 54:The hotel was quite so better for our large group of friends. The breakfast was nice and there was plenty to tuc into. The beds were comfy and the rooms were large enough to get ready in!

Review 55:Not easy to find in the dark. Road names were almost impossible to read. Directions in the initial particulars would make life easier.

Review 56:Very comfortable room. Well presented. Excellent breakfast. Very welcoming

Review 57:I was in Worcester on a training course where a lot of studying was required. The B&B was ideal as it was very quiet, so my studying, and my sleep was not disturbed! Also, the use of the toaster, microwave and fridge were ideal as lunch had been provided on the course, so I was able to knock up a quick sandwich in the evening witout having to resort to take away food!

Review 58:Room decor is not the most up to date, but can't have everything to our taste!

Review 59:Good value for money when travelling with young family (and dog) in tow. They go out of their way to make sure things are ok for you. Thank you

Review 60:I'm sorry if I come across as fussy, but the smelly and stained towel really could do with a bit of bleaching. I keep getting a whiff of it all through the day. And please descale the kettle!

Review 61:I like the fact that it is in the B&B is in the countryside. Very peaceful and quite at night; guaranteed you'll sleep well.

Review 62:Whole place felt a little unloved and it needed a good clean, didn't use shower in the shared bathroom due to lots of hair in the bottom of the bath :(

Review 63:Nice location in a small village outside of Worcester. Staff were friendly. Good value for money.

Review 64:Welcome was friendly and arrival time flexible. We were offered a much bigger room with ensuite for only £5 extra due to a cancellation and it was clean and very quiet - the best night's sleep I've had for quite a while. Breakfast was good and other guests seemed very happy. Some were long-term and kept their own food in the fridge in the dining room.

Review 65:No real criticisms.

Review 66:Pleasant accommodation in beautiful surroundings. I was playing chess in Worcester over the week-end and slept well between rounds. Super walk out to the Fox Inn on Friday night.

Review 67:quite expensive to get in and out of the city. If you stay I would recommended you to get a car. As well, as it is a Bed and Breakfast I thought the breakfast would be included which is it not.

Review 68:The room was lovely

Review 69:Dog welcome, Lovely field at back of property. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. ( cannot understand previous review on parking , I had lots of room to park a large estate ).

Review 70:Just couldn't get the tv to work!! I was late getting there so was glad to get my head down!!!! Had my iPad ect !!!

Review 71:Position was rural easy to find!!! Quiet as don't like staying in town often rowdy!! Breakfast was nice quick very accommodating !!!

Review 72:Nothing

Review 73:Characterful house in a lovely peaceful countryside setting, but only 10 minutes' drive from Worcester city centre. Excellent value for money. Our son loved exploring the garden and saying hello to the chickens and fish!

Review 74:nothing

Review 75:As a party of 5 attending a wedding we arranged to turn up 12 noon as we need to get ready for a wedding at Stanbrook Abbey Worcester we got there before 11am. We were warmly welcomed in and shown to our rooms giving us plenty time to get ready for the wedding. A lovely couple, very helpful, the house really clean lovely rooms, gorgeous setting, very relaxing. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice, cereals, toast etc and full English cooked to order. I would definately recommend this B & B and would stay there again. Note: a sat nav is probably needed to find the place but it is only a little way out of Worcester so I am sure someone could show you the way.

Review 76:Limited parking in the yard, but there was room outside the gate at the end of the driveway.

Review 77:Accommodation was good, it suited the location and added to the atmosphere. My son (7) loved walking around the farm and checked out the chickens. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent

Review 78:We booked for two people, only to find out there was a problem with the booking site and we had to pay extra

Review 79:Having to clean dust and hairs from the bath before using it.

Review 80:The most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in.

Review 81:Peaceful location and excellent value for money. A b and b that actually provides good sized family rooms and not just pull out beds!
