Review 1：Surprise present of 3 day trip for my sister and niece - spoilt by very bad mistake by staff not charging us on checkout even though we asked twice.They then panicked and chased/harassed them very unpleasantly by phone for payment, even though they had credit card details and said would email me for credit card authorisation for extras .Also had clicked for English breakfast option on booking.com but apparently did not go through so paid again.

Review 3：If I really had to be critical, which I hate to do as we really loved the hotel, the service in the main restaurant was slow and at times forgetful and the music in the restaurant was appalling however the quality of the food, the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff more than made these small things meaningless.

Review 4：The food and the spa and the spa food were excellent. This is the first hotel in England that we would return to for a weekend away. Very comfortable quietly decorated spaces with an exceptionally comfortable bed (room PIII).

Review 5：Its a minor comment relative to the overall stay so suggested only in respect of improvement but the outside bar service on the saturday lunchtime was slow and a little bit unprepared. We (along with others) waited for a good 30 minutes for seating and service to be sorted and it was notable that some of the staff were VERY new and didn't know where the cushions were kept overnight etc. It was a lovely sunny day and it just looked like they weren't quite organised enough or the right staff were on duty to be better prepared. There were many people who were in similar situations. Not enough to even remotely take the edge of a fantastic weekend but could have been better managed.

Review 6：Gym and Spa facilities were outstanding, the restaurants and bars were well run and offered great choice and quality. Indeed, the facilities are such that we saw no need to leave over the entire weekend! Staff were extremely customer focused and friendly.
