Reviews for Dilmore House B&B
Review 1:The welcome from Tony was excellent, it was handy for the bus either for Birmingham or Worcester and the morning breakfast was really good with plenty of everything.
Review 2:When I arrived on the Saturday afternoon the owner wasn't there, the room was freezing and there was no hot water!! I called him and he told me the heating and hot water didn't go on till 4pm not good! He said he would call the neighbour to come over and turn it on but I said to leave it as was heading out!
Review 3:Cannot find anything to comment on.
Review 4:Everywhere was spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and good quality duvets. Very personal attention at breakfast with excellent choice.
Review 5:Nothing.
Review 6:A peaceful location with friendly attention and a great breakfast. Thank you Tony for a great start to my 'retirement trip' to UK and Europe.
Review 7:Very small room on the front of the house on a very busy road lots of road noise from 7.00 am. Very soft bed no support. Nice gluten free sausages but no gluten free cereal and no toast for coeliac's.
Review 8:Friendly host, easy parking and a nice pub 10 minutes walk away with great food.
Review 9:That we stayed just 1 night
Review 10:Very nice guesthouse with small but beautiful rooms, where you easily feel like home. The owner is very friendly, he cooked an excellent breakfast and we had a nice conversion! We would come again if possible!!!!
Review 11:Had the weather been hot, opening the bedroom window would have made the room noisy. As the weather was cool it was not a problem.
Review 12:The welcome, the comfort and the food.
Review 13:Nothing

Review 22:Tony was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, he made is feel very welcome, and Worcester was a great place to visit and will return in the future
Review 23:Amiable chatty host who gets everyone talking and laughing at breakfast. If you need a quiet breakfast in silence, then perhaps not for you. Key safe outside so you can get the key if no-one home on arrival. We had a room at the back overlooking the garden, nice and quiet. Good parking. Good price. Good breakfast.
Review 24:That I could only stay one night.
Review 25:Convenient location, warm atmosphere, friendly host, ample parking, and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!

Review 27:What is not to like at the dilmore house....Tony was very welcoming room 2 excellent. ..breakfast brill...definitely be going back to stay when in worcester
Review 28:There was nothing to not like
Review 29:There was nothing we didn't like. Owners very welcoming making it feel like home. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location for visiting Worcester for daughter's graduation. We all felt we had a holiday
Review 30:Could have done with a comfy chair in the bedroom
Review 31:Tony very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Integral TV/DVD player in room and plenty of DVDs available to choose from.
Review 32:The double bed was standard size and too small for us to have a comfortable sleep....a twin room or queen would have made the stay perfect.
Review 33:Tony is the host you dream of....warm welcome, shows you around and makes you feel at home...offers a small cozy sitting room downstairs for reading, visiting, etc.; bedrooms light and airy; great referrals for food, answers your questions, even a bit entertaining! Tony knows his guests and you could tell from conversations people often return. Liked being able to walk to two great pubs; bus close by if needed [in the rain might not be as much fun]; has a small town, rural feel with fields across the road, but minutes from city center by car. Breakfast was outstanding.
Review 34:The location, the comfort and the friendly environment were great. We visited the Cotswolds and Worcester whilst there and as an added bonus spotted a soaring bird of prey en route home.
Review 35:Very welcoming and friendly, lovely cooked breakfast. Bus stop over the road so easy to get into Worcester and a couple of good local pubs both serving food.
Review 36:Taxi fare to the centre of Worcester but Tony can't help that.
Review 37:Tony the manager is efficient, helpful and understanding. The B&B is small and personal, clean and tidy. I would recommend it to any lone traveller.
Review 38:There was nothing to dislike! I have put good for location only because it was a bit too far to walk into the city centre. However, it was easy to get in with the car, though not quite so easy to find the correct road back!
Review 39:Tony was an exceptional host! He was helpful and thoughtful and the breakfast was excellent. He gave tips on the best places to visit and the only thing he couldn't organise was the weather! Dilmore House is comfortable, homely and extremely clean.
Review 40:Very friendly and welcoming. Facilities very good - pleased to have en-suite shower and towels supplied. Good choice of breakfast and very tasty. Local knowledge also very helpful!
Review 41:A top sheet on the bed rather than a doona would have been good in this hot weather. My fault, I'm sure I would only to have asked.
Review 42:Everything, especially the host. He was very helpful with tourist advice and made for a very pleasant stay.
Review 43:Really enjoyed our short stay. Tony was the perfect host, explaining everything about the area, where to park on town etc. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Worcester.
Review 44:The thoughfulness of the provision made for guests' comfort in what was available in the guest room. Very comfortable beds and attractive rooms with high standard of cleanliness. The friendliness of Tony, the proprietor, and the excellent breakfasts.

Review 48:Nothing! Too short a stay ....
Review 49:Excellent all round, rooms are clean, everything thought of like tea, coffee making facilities, bottle of water, biscuits, hair dryer. Breakfast is very tasty and Tony does not compromise on anything. Local eateries either by a short walk or drive. 11 minutes drive into Worcester.
Review 50:A fan might have made the temperature of the room more comfortable and keeping the blinds closed during the day. But it was an unusually hot and humid day!
Review 51:Lovely warm and friendly ambience. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast!
Review 52:We should have stayed longer.!!
Review 53:Communication prior to arrival was excellent and the owner went to a lot of trouble to enable us to collect a key at a time that was most suitable for us. On arrival Tony was a mine of local information and advised on local eateries and parking in Worcester city centre. The house was beautifully furnished for a relaxing stay, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, the shower was efficient and breakfast was well cooked and well presented. In fact nothing was to much trouble for Tony who was a very genial host and it is easy to see why several folk at breakfast were obviously regular customers.
Review 54:Needed a lighter quilt as room was baking hot, however a fan had been provided which did help.
Review 55:Very clean, very fast wifi, nice tea/coffee tray. Superb made to order breakfast. Absolutely charming host.
Review 56:Stairs to room could be a challenge. maybe a tad overpriced for a single room.
Review 57:owner very helpful and chatty Good selection of items in room including bottle of water, face flannel, decaf coffee etc. On bus route into Worcester Few pubs for food within 10 mins walk.
Review 58:Nothing to complain about at all.
Review 59:Transport links were very good and convenient, the B&B was very clean and tidy, having a lounge to relax in was a bonus. Tony was very knowledgeable about the area, where to visit and what was available. The breakfasts were excellent, and plentiful. The bedrooms were clean and the shower was a joy. Very friendly and would not hesitate to visit again.
Review 60:The owner was very helpful and spent time in making sure we enjoyed our stay. The overall experience including the breakfast was very good. If we ever return this area we would not hesitate in re-booking the Dilmore.
Review 61:Tony the owner gave me a warm welcome, and went the extra mile to help me ,as I was not familiar with Worcester, and he was extremely helpful, even to the point of calling estate agents for me to get directions! The room was very comfortable and clean, and I was impressed with the decor and quietness of the location ..would definitely recommend ..this isn't the usual 'run of the mill' guest house but one where the proprietor Tony really makes his guests feel welcome and gives you the feeling of being 'looked after' ...Thanks Tony
