Reviews for Mid Wales Inn
Review 1:no bad experience- just that the food was disappointing
Review 2:we knew we were booking a basic nights stay - on our way to the winter show. the place was clean and well maintained . we were surprised to see that our room , the smallest double,. was available for dogs too!!!
Review 3:Traveled with two older teenagers and an eight year old. Very welcoming owner and rooms were perfect for what we wanted. 'Bo' the pub terrier is a superstar!
Review 4:A bit out of the way unless you have a specific reason for a visit, welcomes bikers but car park not very bike friendly.
Review 5:Excellent shower, delicious breakfast, perfectly cooked steak, friendly staff and locals.
Review 6:Nothing
Review 7:A lovely country pub. Very warm welcome by both staff and locals. Nice comfy bed and good shower. Evening meal whilst menu was limited was home made and very tasty. If you're looking for the Ritz then this isn't the place for you but a good honest down to earth place this is it.
Review 8:We were made to feel very welcome both by the owner and the regulars that use the bar and restaurant. Our dog was also made to feel welcome with no issues at all
Review 9:The parking was good in the fact it was off road but if you had a motor bike it needed to be firmer for side stands on bike.
Review 10:The accommodation was in an ideal spot for us to enjoy the motor cycling roads of Wales, it was clean, comfortable and would stay there again.
Review 11:The quality of the evening meal was sub-standard - the fish and chips consisted of 4/5 plate full of chips and mushy peas and 1/5 fish (only one piece about 20cm long). The pepsi tasted of machinery. I am not sure how this pub was a finalist in any kind of gastro pub competition!! The room, although lovely, was cold when we arrived.
Review 12:The quality of the breakfast was good and the portions generous. The room was nicely furnished and bathroom excellent in terms of cleanliness and functionality. The staff were friendly.
Review 13:Friendly, lovely people , we took our three grandchildren with us and they really enjoyed themselves. They were so friendly and didn't mind the children running around
Review 14:Only think I can say against our stay was that the wifi was a bit slow and location a bit more remote than we realised but that wasn't really a problem.
Review 15:Very welcoming, staff very friendly, room comfortable and clean, breakfast very nice. Nice beer served in the bar, fascinating decor. Would definitely stay again.
Review 16:The landlady and landlord were very friendly and made us so welcome. We had a meal in the bar which was excellent as was our breakfast in the morning. The room was spotlessly clean.
Review 17:Our 'pit stop' stay was very good. My friend and I were competing in an athletics event and needed an overnight stop. Rooms were clean, tidy, spacious with a bit of character! Shower and bathroom also up to scratch. Staff were very helpful and friendly and even agreed to make breakfast for us earlier than normal as we had an early start. Thanks!
Review 18:Loved the Green room, it was tastefully decorated. The food was good value for money & freshly prepared. The cooked breakfast was generous & tasty. The owners were really friendly & helpful to our needs.
Review 19:carpet could do with a clean or changed as hallways smelt like dogs and a bit musty.
Review 20:Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Food for dinner and breakfast was great. Landlords/hosts were lovely people.
Review 21:car park creates poor first impression. TV reception very poor and very small screen on wall. Inn miles away from village, mobile phone reception extremely limited.
Review 22:customer service is great! good breakfast freshly cooked. double bed very comfy.
Review 23:Friendliness of the staff who went out of their way to make us welcome. Even cooked some more chutney so we could take some home.....just because we liked it! Mega breakfast, beer well kept and good food in the evening.
Review 24:Only the weather,
